  • Support FAQ - READ BEFORE POSTING

    Hello!


    We have taken all the solutions we could find on our forums, and merged them into this one thread. If you know a fix on an issue then please contact one of the Board staff and we will add it.
    Let me give you an overview of the structure:



    First of all make sure to check the following in all cases!

    • Run the tera-launcher.exe with admin rights
    • Check your firewall, anti-virus or other software if it blocks the access for TERA to the internet or at all. This normally involves the files "TERA.exe", "TL.exe" and "Tera-launcher.exe". If you use any kind of anti-malware software or other security software please check those as well!
    • Do not modify your game client in any way, if you do so, the patch process can be broken and you won't be able to play/update the game properly. Also a modification of the game client can lead to a permanent account block/ban.
    • Try to use the repair function of the launcher.
    • Last resort: Uninstall TERA and remove all remaining TERA files from your system and download the game again through the current launcher/setup file.

  • Shop Update: 11th of April 2013

    This is quite a decen't update, the size of it is perfect. However, since the shop so empty right now, the update is quite small. Now at the start, big updates is needed on these things. Once you have some more things, like costumes to choose between, the update size like this will be perfect.


    Many people are complaining about GF, but please, those who have been here for a while, look back, they used to me so much worse, they are improving alot, slowly, but they arn't standing still. Be happy about that, and stop posting the same boring QQ messages, i think GF knows a lot of players don't like them, no need to spam it all the time. It's just annoying.

  • New Servers (PvE & PvP)

    Transfer shouldn't be avaible untill the enw players manage to gear up themself, Ishara server already have tons of 40+ players PKing in Lumbertown area all the time, we dont need anymore lame pkers in the low level areas.

  • Community questions roundup

    1) Will Tera go F2P or B2P? (if it is then please don't go F2P, that will just destroy the game, keep it B2P then, thats better than P2P and F2P a.k.a P2W).


    2) Server Merges?


    3) Will there be more variarity of equipment? Kinda boring if everyone using the same type of endgame gear, more fun if people can choose between different types of gear for their playstyle.

    I have to agree with this, if you have the right people translating those stuff then how hard can it be? However, im not an expert in this, correct me if im wrong.

  • Test Session 1 for TERA Europe – Get all the details!

    May i suggest that those who are interested in joining the beta send like a pm to you guys, telling them why they should be the beta tester, no format since those who are supposed to be a beta tester knwos what to have in it

    well I doubt to get a key for CB since its mostly for forum users that took a big part in it (lots of posts, supports ect) or some contest winners... but still I would be glad to see if there is a client or not like to be prepared for next tests, beta's or finally open beta that will tell if servers can hold hords of players who spam skills and fights lots of monsters at the same time ^^

  • Voice of the Community: Payment Method

    Time card is better, paying for a certain time to play like 30 and 90 days etc is better, but its also good if you can get 1 free trial per ip on ur account, you have full access for like 7 days, then if you wish to continue playing you have to pay. That way people can try out first if they like the game (wich they probelly will) and if their computer can handle the game etc ^^
