Glad I quit before then. I don't mind a little help for money but not actual gear.

Idk about you but I was a teen when I first played and now I'm nearing 30. I don't have time to catch up to kids who can play all day either. I certainly don't want to buy gear with stats but every MMO is a careful balancing act of appeasing people with time and people with money, cause usually people don't have both.

I loved PSO2 but it took too much time and I had to quit. It was becoming a chore me coming home from my lousy job at 4 am, tired af, hungry, having to do it all over again tomorrow.

There has to be a middle ground where a cash shop doesn't screw over f2p but where the only way to win the game is to play 24/7 for a few months, or a year+ to reach meaningful goals.

Gameforge you censor curse words? Please, curse words are more wholesome than your vile business. Get that puritanical bs outta here. You're no saints.

Well. even if they do quit a p-server will come up one day that'll run things better.

I still haven't decided to hop back in, it doesn't sound like I'd be ever engaged like the old days. I think I played this when I was like 16 and because I would get 1 fps in certain dungeons I just quit and didn't come back for 12 years, I was poor all that time so I kept my laptop for ages until it truly broke down and died.

Hey, I played Tera a while back, a long while back but my 2nd gen I7 laptop CPU and 570m didn't really run the game well at all, so I quit after a bit.

I enjoyed it more or less but it's been a long time.

My old char is the middle one

Anyways, I've played with the idea of coming back but I want to ask the player base some things first. I used to play on the Steam version with the other publisher.
I've browsed around the forum and saw people are still having that tired old PvP vs PvE argument, nostalgic but sad the audience hasn't grown up with this game. How is PvP these days? I remember I wouldn't mind matching up with someone but if all that's left is salt I'll hard pass lol. Too old for that shit.

How's the game? I dabbled in four classes I think it was Slayer, Priest, Sorceror and.. can't even remember the last. I'm interested in Ninja and Reaper, but it seems like people are really putting down those newer classes. I'm rusty so it's probably not a good idea for me to hop into a high skill floor class.

Is it still worth playing? I spent money on this game and probably would again but my concern is like when Shin Megami Tensei Online moved to Cave after Aeria dropped it, it had a short run on life support and then died until P-servers came out years later. Do you think we're looking at a similar situation here? Is this game on its last legs?

Lemme know your thoughts so I can decide if this is worth hopping back in.
