I just started playing again this week. Reaper has changed a little since the last time I played. I'm not convinced you need anymore than 350 Crit factor, that's base crit factor plus 298. I have plus 3 everything, yellow hands feet and accessories and purple chest and weapon. I can pull a solid 20m dps on Ace Harganov as is, I think that's decent. The main thing about playing reaper is keeping the crit buff going, smite and cloak both give a 4 second 100% crit and all attacks are considered from behind. Therr is no set rotation, just priority system. Always stack brooch and reaping as well. And never give up a chance to retribution x2 for the same 4 second buff. That buff is where you do all your damage. I can down Banyakas in 30 seconds if I keep the buff rolling. Once the crystal shatters I get 1.5 shadow reaping rotations in and he's done.
I'm also the only reaper I have seen since I've been back. I would gladly write a simple guide if there are enough people interested.
(My gear has leech rather than cruel curse, theoretically cruel curse is BiS but with the leech gear I can run pumped WS and do solo content easily plus in dungeons where the healer isn't so comfortable like through IM the leech is awesome, as long as I'm hitting the boss my health regenerates in seconds from almost dead to full again)
