Just uninstalled Tera. Guess I still just can because I started playing very recently. Sorry to break the illusion.Gameforge has not the luxury to think in terms of what is fun for the Gamer but only how they can get the most money out of the existing player base (because there are and there will be no new staying and paying player base). I wish you luck and all the best, think a lot before throwing more money at GameForge the next time ;). Is it realy worth it?

Hi Godfrey, to be honnest it was not just only from Bastion of Lok onwards it was since the starting area. It was just empty. Allthough I am Lvl 70 now and have a Gear Score of 500,8 I still don't know what the abrevations IM and GV mean. That is one point I hate about this game (sorry m8 dont take that personaly). Every expirienced Gamer who played Tera since Ages is using abrevations, no new player knows about. There are so many outdated guides out there it is not funny anymore. The whole Game is just new player (noob here) unfriendly. One more point on my hate list is the Crafting System. I just learned that I cannot only Master one crafting path but also be Artisan in just one path at the same time. Thats utterly stupid as this is forcing players to join a Guild as crafting as a single player is not possible (without using Gold at the broker and crafting is not profitable at all). This may stop me from playing, although I like my char. In old guides I read that beeing an Artisan in all crafting paths is possible, so did they change that because the guilds dwindled away? Any type of forcing a player to do something is a no go in every *cough MMO for me. So how I am supposed to earn monney in this game to upgrade my gear? Fishing is gone, crafting is dead, only running dungeons is possible and to be honnest every instance that drops usefull items (rarely) is the utter hell for new players. Not only because of the Game design but also because of the community. I was often kicked without any explanation and was only in two parties (out of hundreds) who tried to explain something before kicking me ;). As mentioned above to find an usefull guide is really work and normaly should be provided in Game.

Nough whining, but plz hear me as this is the truth and because of, not only but including, those issues this Game is dying.

EDIT: I just logged out and deinstalled Tera. It is not worth my time and money. Gameforge will surely be sucking every penny out of long time players who invested too much money and time to just stop playing. This kind of money making is not acceptable for me anymore and is meant to die out!

I started Tera in January this year for the first time, and I felt like I ran alone through the Game world. Only a very few times I saw other players. Its my first that the majority in Game are NPCs and the minority are real players. I think thats a shame as the world is realy beautiful. By only doing main quests I reached lvl 69 very fast. Most quests drop loot that is not longer relevant for this game so I started selling, dropping and destroying stuff because this useless items stuffed the few inventory space I had (Inventory + Bag and Bank account). Therefore I destroyed books and scrolls that are seemingly still needed for quests because the descriptions on the quest Items is realy bad. Not only that, the Quest descriptions in the questmarkers are obviously wrong or realy bad written.

So I destroyed my chance to get some archivements. That was my very first contact with the Tera shop because the only way to somehow extend my inventory to an usable amount I had to use the tera shop items. And now I understood why there is so much useless stuff still in the Game as it is intended by Gameforge to stuff your inventory to press some money out of the player.

The whole game felt like it was patched together very badly, to advance the new player to the endgame very quick, as this is the only still half profitable thing in this game.

Allthough some MMos got a second chance because of the social distancing thing but Tera missed this. Why not just cutting of big parts of the open world and just let some dungeons instances and add, lets say, a few horde instances, similar to the champion arena, just a lot more difficult. This would save you some maintenace costs? Also just remove this old armors and all related crafting stuff, just give any returning players the lvl 65 starter gear, what was it Kaia Gear? Make an update to those older Dungeons like Baldurs gate, Chappel of Terror and the golden Labyrinth. I cannot even remember the names although starting the game very recently. Make the Loot a lot more rewarding for players and make all those dungeons accessable through the big cities. Maybe you could save some of the dungeons at least. Also I think the management of Gameforge should realy (re)-learn some basic economics on how to attract new players to the game. As it is now tera will become unprofitable through the year 2021. It is already, in most parts, uninteresting for new players. Also make the Tera shop items a lot more cheaper. Its not even funny if you thing of the prices. I realy thought to myself why no one sued Gameforge for those insolent prices. And not only that you can buy a "supprise" (what a joke) box, that only may contain something you really need like an pet, or a ride, or a costume but it surely contains some more of this useless stuff related to old armor... . You know, gameforge, the trend is to remove loot boxes from games these days? I call the situation, the player pays for something and gets something totaly diffentd a fraud. Maybe I should start something, it is pretty easy here in Europe!
