Seconded. The poll should be clearer in terms of getting a more definitive result one way or another as to what the playerbase would like.

Hey just so you know, blippedyblop, way back when Tera was actually a good game, they had NPCs who would, for a small gold fee, allow you to switch the appearance of any armor piece for a different one if you had said armor piece.

The item you took the appearance of got destroyed and you'd keep the stats of the other one.
This could be done for each individual armor piece, as in body/upper arm/lower arm/upper leg/lower leg/head.

It allowed for brilliant customization, the developers scrapped that system in favour of a much more restrictive system where you can only override your entire outfit with certain sets of gear.

    Super lame, I know.

Aww, that's a shame. Though, to be fair, I'm a hoarder, and would never want to destroy my starter gear. Thus far, LOTRO seems to be one of the few MMOs out there that's got the cosmetic system right.

    To everyone else:
Thank you all so much for the advice, I really appreciate it. Will wait until I get high level, then attempt farming them.
I actually asked in global chat ingame how to get coupons, and someone said (no joke) to buy them with thalers!
To say they missed the point would be an understatement...
And Maisee, that sucks that they don't give them out anymore. That alone would be incentive to level up characters.

It's just another bug/glitch that has been reported, but hasn't been fixed.

Fair enough. When you say they drop in dungeons, is that only from a certain level? To put it in perspective, I'm level 35, and ran through the first dungeon again (solo mode), and didn't get any. Does it have to be with a group? Is it a low drop rate? And the same thing with BAMs. I thought I could be clever and just kill the basilisks. Killed loads of them, and again, didn't get any coupons.

If you are interested in the look of that gear, fashion coupons have all the skins of gears you get from lvl 1-65. Fashion Coupons drop in dungeons and are fairly easy to collect, but be aware the ones that drop are empty so you have to convert them to be able to see skins.

Yup, the coupons I already had were the same, and I had to convert those. I must be missing something, because I can't really see the point of that.

At this point I expect Gameforge to announce: "we are giving Tera publishing rights to *Gamigo", but we'll see if there will be an announcement at all, or this subject will just be forgotten (or aka "forwarded").

*If you don't know who Gamigo is, just know that their library of games is basically where all the dead games are at. the last spot to fully milk the game(s) out of existence.

Yikes, I hope you're wrong. That company is pure, unadulterated cancer.

I'll throw in my two cents. I missed out on the original TERA, but find what it started out as quite appealing. I for one would be willing to give a classic server a try, even a subscription (in my opinion, a sub should indicate a focus on content, rather than fluff, though of course this is far from universal).
A return to roots can get bums back on seats, if WoW is anything to go by.

I also got the email that Black Desert was transferring providers. That game is not even installed on my PC anymore. But I at least had the option to transfer over my characters. Strangely enough, they appear to be giving you a whole 4 months to do this, as opposed to EmE's two months.

But if you really want to play Tera again then not having your CE perks shouldn't be the only thing holding you back.

I bit the bullet and got an EU Collector's Edition key. I also took the time to upload a video on to Youtube detailing the character creation and starter areas.
It's good to be back :)

So, as per the description of the video, I recently found out I lost my old account in the migration crisis. However, it's been an opportunity to start over, and I figured I'd try again with my favourite combo: Baraka Priest.

    Hope you enjoy it!

As an aside, I've received a copyright claim with part of the soundtrack. I'm assuming this has been an automatic reaction. I have never received anything like this with previous gameplay videos that have the soundtrack within (as opposed to adding music to the gameplay video). Has anyone else experienced this?

So, I recently had to bite the bullet after finding out that my old Collector's Edition account had been deleted in the Great Migration Crisis and buy a CE key. Whilst I am glad to have the CE back, I've noticed that typing in the reverse of the key (a nightmare just to find the right area to even redeem the code, it worked in a section labelled "redeem old AMS codes") that the code doesn't seem to work to get the Tawny Huntress mount. Is this something peculiar to Gameforge, or am I just missing some detail?

Unfortunately the last part doesn't even apply to them. It isn't Gameforge's game, it's BlueHole's, and BHS didn't even get the money directly, EME did. That is why GF (and any other company) would be unwilling to provide you anything you didn't get from them directly and lost. Why should they lose a profit (in the long run) by giving you everything you had to get you to where you were on EME's servers? Besides, some items and translations are different on GF's servers, so chances are several items wouldn't have the same name, and you'd be out of luck on those as well, unless GF took the time to look at the two different items.

My intent here was not to be a debbie-downer at all; it sucks that EME had an often-buggy email system for some, but unfortunately it is what it is, and again, it sucks. Had I not thought of TERA randomly before the transfer and reinstalled after having no computer for months, I wouldn't have my account right now either. Unfortunately there's you and several others who have made their voices heard saying they didn't know, and honestly it all falls on EME, though again, there was multiple attempts, so those few who are saying they did nothing are just too salty to see reason, but again, it is what it is, and we can't change it cause Krafton dissolved EME months ago.

    Sorry man.

See, you've actually gone through the trouble to explain the overall situation succinctly, and I appreciate that.
Do you know how I found out? I play Black Desert Online, and they've just had their server transfer. Because that began at the end of January, that made me think about some of the games I had stopped playing a while back. Sure enough, I was surprised, then saddened to learn that TERA had done the same thing. Only in this instance, En Masse weren't even contactable anymore.
As for items, to the best of my knowledge, CE digital items are pretty much identical across the board. But I do get what you're saying.

That may be, but as stated, I hadn't played the game in a while, and would only have known about that if they had sent an email. I appreciate Gameforge isn't responsible for EME, but at the same time, I'm essentially being penalised for that.
I appreciate that there is no way to get my account back. But surely it is within Gameforge's ability to apply Collector Edition mounts/ items that I lost when the account was deleted to a new account?
I am happy to show proof of my old account/ Physical CE box and screenshots of my characters via DM.

Thank you for responding. If you read my post, you'll see that I am aware that the account has been deleted. What I am trying to ascertain is if there is any way to transplant the assets (assuming that they are still in the game) to a new account. Bear in mind, I received NO communication from En Masse about what was happening. The last communication I have from them is from May 2019, long before any of this.

So I got the CE years ago (En Masse version), but over time, moved on to play other MMOs, and took quite a long hiatus from TERA. A few weeks back, I was shocked to discover that En Masse were no longer going to be supporting the game, and that it would go over to Gameforge.

Please let me be clear, I received no communication from En Masse about this. The last email I have from them is from 2019.

I contacted Gameforge, as even though I hadn't played in a while, I was still gutted at the prospect of my account being deleted. They weren't very helpful (yes, I appreciate they might not be able to restore the old account, but they weren't willing to engage on a compromise of creating a new account and transposing what I had on to a new one).

As I said, I received no communication from EM. If I had, even if I wasn't playing at the time, I would have obviously done the transfer. What makes it worse, En Masse is gone now, so I don't have anyone to contact from that end.

I don't know how true this is, but apparently, characters/ items etc are still in the game. Is there a way to link a newly created account to these assets?

    Any suggestions would be appreciated!
