It's been probably almost an hour and I'm actually surprised no one reported this but no one can play the game.

We can log in and select our characters but we can't do anything, we have 0 MP/HP and no NPCs load in our skills are locked and everything is set to 0 even our levels and adventure coins.

I believe this screenshot will say more than I can; Also LFGs are stuck on LFG board saying "Test"

If you mean doing everything right as in screwing literally just about everything up, then sure. I'm sure people would invest more money into the game if they actually fix stuff instead of throwing more costumes at us like we WANT it? Have you noticed the servers haven't even been fixed yet? Or do you not even play the game to know this but just putting your opinion in on the thread, which I respect even though it's wrong. Because the problem is Gameforge not giving us a better experience, both servers are ass right now even if you have decent ping and connection, you'll still Disconnect or lag for no reason. A problem we never had with En Masse.

Yes, people spend money on the game but in hopes that it would get better instead of worse. AM I surprised about the outcome? There's no real way to answer that because there really wasn't any say in how the game was going to go once it went from En Masse to Gameforge, mostly because I've only heard about good things from Gameforge from the people who played EU so I couldn't really say but at this point, it's really just undeniable that it's being killed by the Devs and Publisher. It's not us. I'm also guessing you've also not played enough to witness the decline in population post-migration. Log in, run some dungeons, witness the gameplay experience we've gotten for spending a bit of money on a game because if you didn't notice, a game runs off the money the players spend but that's only if the players enjoy the game enough to say "Hey, let me spend x amount." But who's gonna do that now that the experience isn't getting improved and it's all locked behind a money wall? You're mostly focusing on what Rose and whoever you're talking about spending 2k on a game in your post which isn't the problem here, it's the experience the players are getting. So don't attack people trying to make a change if you can't see the problem.

P.S. That guy you're talking about complaining that he spent $1000 on a the game is probably just someone making a troll post, I've not heard of a single person spending that much money just to gear.

what is your problem if someone buys their own gear through p2w? do you play pvp and someone will beat you because he bought a gear? what do you care what kind of gear a person has? Or are you just jealous of him that he can buy and you can't?

Why in 2021 people still think p2w is bad? how then should the publisher and the developer make money? Don't you think that renting a server or developing new content also costs money?

Nice troll post, because you ignored pretty much me mentioning that in a good portion of my post.

TERA has turned to a sad state. People quitting left and right because of this new patch due to the fact that the gear is very p2w. Forums like this have probably been seen quite a bit now. I know Gameforge and the Devs are trying to make money off of TERA but they're actually just killing the game and making less out of TERA. I've read over the Forums about the new full p2w aspect of the game and these Forums of correct, Gameforge and Bluehole are killing TERA with the half assed content and the lack of effort to fix the servers. Look at NA servers, people have been having unknown ping issues ever since maintenance. Where is all of the Money us, the players FUND YOU GUYS to actually do something useful? Half assed content? Single boss dungeons? Costumes we don't want/need? Why not spend the money to make the game better instead? F2P players can't even advance because: The gold gain from dungeons? Crap. Population? Might as well be dead because the only time it was alive is when the new patch arrive but that was only in Highwatch Ch.01 then later even that dropped significantly so there's actually almost no one to run with aside from Clique runs and queuing (Which can take half an hour btw even for a healer or tank). The materials needed to upgrade and enchant gear drop rates in dungeons? Oh wow, next to nonexistent!

What it'll take a p2w player a couple of hours to gear to max, it'll take a f2p players probably months or up to a year to get maxed. That is literally just an massively unfair advantage, because once these p2w players get maxed gear, all they do is just sit and afk or never play again. The real aspect of TERA has been lost, it was a game where you had to grind out your gear and your materials in order to be able to do a higher tier dungeon which was actually the most fun aspect of the game. But now it's behind a wall of money built by greedy devs and publishers. Don't get me wrong, I know they're trying to make money (Making that as CLEAR as possible) but how is that gonna happen when they're pushing players away instead of attracting them? There's much more negative to say than there is positive at this point. Even our old publisher, En Masse had better management skills.

To summarize all of my thoughts up:

TERA is dying and it seems like all Gameforge and Bluehole wants is the money when they can't make the money due to the fact there's not enough players and no one is willing to spend the money until it's gonna be put to actually good use. We appreciate the small events, but that's just not gonna cut it. The open world PvP in the NA pvp Server; Kaia, is still broken. Something that never was an issue with En Masse. FWC was never broken with En Masse, En Masse and when the servers were broken the staff team would immediately hop on it and take as long as it needs to solve the problem with the servers but right now? Seems to me and a bunch of players that En Masse was more professional than Gameforge and probably will still ever be. En Masse did listen to us, but it feels like now our cries for help where it matters most are being ignored.

Do not let a game that has so much potential die from carelessness, TERA can be redeemed. It just takes the right decisions and the right moves to get people interested in the game again. Take a look at old games like WoW and GW2 that have a thriving, lively community after 10 years because of Developers and Publishers who know how to keep their player base interested in the game and not locking everything behind a p2w wall. Meanwhile TERA made it onto the Dead Games list on a YouTube channel. TERA won't make it to see the end of 2021 at this rate and it's sad.
