So a couple of friends and other players have been getting banned permanently for saying the N-word in an like altered way or having it in a name.

I kind of feel like this is a bit over the top to permanently suspend these people without warning. NA has been with Gameforge for a little while now but I don't think many people were aware that they could permanently be suspended for using language like that eventho these people use it in like daily life and with their friends.

I feel like people didn't realize that Gameforge would be so insanely strict with it. I would've assumed it would lead to a warning, 7 day or like 2 week ban maybe. But I feel like a permanent suspension is over the top given that people weren't really aware of Gameforge policy on this kind of language.

So this is kind of a PSA to anyone reading it to be super careful and maybe for Gameforge to reconsider recent bans and maybe give out a warning and an announcement to remind people that policy on this type of language is different with Gameforge. It's a little unnecessary for people to get permanently suspended over this in my opinion.

^ , the scroll drops in commanders residence are so sad without the guaranteed drop event. How are you supposed to get any now especially as a newer player without much gold.

As you mentioned there is big amount of people from Kaiator already are playing on Velik hence publishers don't see there is an issue either they level up from 0 and re-gear or transfer. Another way to say is publishers don't see benefit from free transferring and of course first because there is already even a voucher you may find in broker that you can spend with gold which bought by another player with $$ also as you mentioned this is just their business model.

people would transfer if things like Friendship Bonds, Cards collection and EP weren't a thing, EP being the easiest to farm back but it's still a loss and transferring all of your characters would be really expensive.

I would argue that a server merge would bring back a lot more people to the game and make the merged server a lot more alive than either server right now.

agreed! a lot of people are leaving Kaia server, the tradebroker is empty, and there is almost never any LFG's on Kaia. Highwatch is almost always dead and empty compared to Velik. Please consider it
