people would transfer if things like Friendship Bonds, Cards collection and EP weren't a thing, EP being the easiest to farm back but it's still a loss and transferring all of your characters would be really expensive.
I would argue that a server merge would bring back a lot more people to the game and make the merged server a lot more alive than either server right now.
agree completely, also while GF might be trying to milk whatever revenue they can out of server transfers right now it would probably be cheaper for them in the long run to pay to run and maintain only one server instead of two
also important to note, its not just KT players who want this merge, VK players want it too. it'll make the game feel more lively and remove the hassle and setbacks that come with trying to cross-queue dungeons with your friends on the other server
