    Another Update;

    When submitting a Support Ticket, the "Complaint" option to "raise the support ticket to a higher department support member" didn't work. I had the same Support Member respond back with basically the same exact canned response as the first one, minus the blocking portion of the copy-paste response.

    I thought it was supposed to go to the next highest support level member, not the same one?

    When will GameForge take any of this seriously, if ever? So many issues with the patches, so many issues these past 3-4 days with racism, homophobia, glitch-exploit client crashing everyone in Channel 1 of Major Cities either by Dupes or by Block Mechanics Spamming, and not a lick of communication from GameForge at all.

    I understand it's "just Monday" after the weekend and them being off, but you've probably easily had 50-100 reports in 3 days of all of this, and not a hint of acknowledgement from anyone on the staff aside from Support who is their usual, unhelpful selves in regards to these issues.

    At least some acknowledgment would be great. Our 'Community Managers' for NA are super silent outside of announcements, not responding to anything on the forum except the Astral Event issue in EU, meanwhile they're letting forced client-crashes and racist/homophobic spammers run rampant like it isn't an issue.

    :elin7:

    Updating:

    Over the weekend there has been racist characters created and spamming NA's Global Chat, and threatening to {insert unmentionable acts here} people's underage daughters. Reporting to support results in the response; "Did you know you can block these users?"

    Today, GameForge is back in the office, and they're back again.

    Glad to see GameForge actively enables these acts of racism and {insert unmentionable acts here}, if their only solution is for everyone to block them, and it's like they'll suddenly disappear. (Surprise-- they don't.)

    threea Melione

    Can we please get something done about this guy? I know about 10+ people who've reported him over the weekend, and we all got the same canned response.

    This goes back to my original issue pointed out of lack of community response. This is a known problem user, and you guys aren't doing anything about it other than 'taking it into consideration, but in the meantime block them and "ta-da" problem solved". No, the problem isn't solved when they're making 20+ characters a day. The problem is with you guys, and you guys need to fix it.

    Bro they sell skin 30€ wich a intership create in one day. In past i see some guys spend 5k€ or more for enchant materials. Don't say me they haven't money to try something

    I was actually going to sit here and try to break down the cost to run the games GameForge runs (yes, you have to factor in all 15 downloadable games), not even including the browser games, along with rent, royalties, licenses, servers purchase and upkeep, the amount of servers per game, per region, etc.

    However I can tell you don't know how much it actually costs to run the company's day-to-day, and how little TERA's fraction on profits probably actually is compared to what we as a community think it is, and not to mention the amount of 70%+ extra Thaler sales they're running, I'd guess they're running in the red as far as their allocation for TERA goes, and is trying to make money to make up for it, but at a loss of the in-game currency value for Thalers, which is similar to what EME was doing towards the end of their time, giving more and more EMP away. The only difference is (I hope) that GameForge is tracking it, unlike EME, which is what was a more major influence as to why EME ended up closing it's doors. Almost every sale, and all the extra EMP you'd get just for getting higher bundles, similar to how GameForge does it, especially with the bonus for using certain payment methods, needs to be kept track of, which I would hope GameForge is. Not saying they're on the same track as EME currently, but the fact we jumped from 40% extra in January of this year, to 70% in just 2 weeks after the 40% in January is alarming, more-so that we did another 70% extra in February on the 19th, and one week later we went up to 80%. The average sale was 30-40%, now we're in the 80s. That's a red flag.

    In addition to the above, the dwindling playerbase means even less sales, which might be the reason they doubled the amount of free Thalers, but it's just speculation. The fact is that we're losing players, GameForge isn't caring, they're just trying to make money off those of us still here. The lack of returning players, player retention, lack of advertisement to other players, the growing lack of community communication, and lack of company involvement with the community, is definitely a sign that BHS (and by relation, GameForge) shouldn't be involving themselves with a remake of a Classic server, let alone a permanent one, and likely won't for the foreseeable future.

    I enjoyed the last event, with the Killian server, because I wasn't around during these earlier years of TERA, and it was a different experience, but it isn't worth opening now, even if we do have players like you coming here on a dead forum, saying "I won't come back until you release a Classic Server", it isn't likely to happen.

    Yes, please fork well-over several thousands and thousands of dollars and ask GameForge to pretty please have Krafton purchase a server, host, software, and code a 2012 version of the game on a game that has a dwindling playerbase as is, for nostalgia purposes.

    /s, in case anyone had to ask.

    I want to first quote exactly what I said in my ticket that I was told was passed onto the relevant people, but wanted to post here as well so you two may see it as well threea Melione, as I was told this would be the second best place to post this, per Support Staff. I've updated it (roughly) to address some minor wording issues, but still rather relevant, and below I'll approach it again. I will spoil the Support Ticket quote in order to make this smaller for those not interested in a long wall stretching the forum.

    Unfortunately this of course didn't lead anywhere other than "I'll forward this to the appropriate department, and you should also post this on the forums so the Community Managers are in the know as well" so here I am. There's so many things that could be discussed and talked about, addressed even (in the event of SEA's issues), if there was active communication between the community and the team. That's been lacking since the Transfer from En Masse to GameForge, and more-so since Raderle got moved around (now gone?). And even more so since Atmorph got pulled off TERA as well to focus on SOLO.

    The community wants to give GameForge a chance, they want to trust and believe that these things can be resolved, but with only vague "if anything changes, we'll announce it" for the past few months in regards to a lot of issues, it'd be great if whoever the Product Manager is would be involved as well, whether Forum or Discord, or better even, the game itself. All we see is the Community Managers, and nobody else. No offense to the Community Managers (regardless their region), but EME honestly did better with communication and interaction in the community. It feels almost like you're forced to interact with us by saying "We'll pass this along, and let you know if there's any changes" or "We're still awaiting news from the Developer, once we know anything, we'll announce it in a post" because there doesn't seem to be much of an effort to communicate with the community openly aside from the issues. I know it's a job, and I know what being a CM entails for the most part, but you should still want to communicate in your free time with the community, and I understand GF might have you guys on multiple games actively (I've looked, they mostly do, they have you guys spread thin), but you need to tell whoever is above you that it isn't getting the job done, and it isn't cutting it. Even just the smallest notions or smallest interactions would make all the difference in the community.

    Thank you guys for dealing with this wall, thank you Threea and Melione for putting up with a tag and reading this dribble, and I welcome anyone who visits the forums still to jump in with thoughts and opinions on things. Don't be afraid to say what you really feel, but do so in a constructive, coherent way.

    :elin1:

    When you ended Manahan's Totem, you should have remained in Velik's Sanctum (Sanctuary) at the start of the Resurrection quest being given. Talking to Velik to start the quest line would start the cutscene and then you will go seek out the Argon Queen Hall.

    If you're not in the Sanctum for whatever reason, find Kisha in front of the statue at the Velik's Steps. She should have an option to teleport you inside if the quest requires you to go in.

    EDIT: Fail that, probably going to have to send in a support ticket to GameForge and ask them to reset the quest line.

    That's usually how the leveler events work; Once you level one class, you have to move onto another to get the same rewards. It's supposed to encourage branching out and trying new classes away from your safe zone, supposedly.

    Bluehole is at least trying to revitalize tera but they cant do that if gameforge is mistreating players by keeping them from getting content of upcoming patches greed is the ruin of all game companies just look what happened to EN MASSE

    This shows you didn't watch any interviews to "What happened to En Masse"

    It wasn't greed, it was because they weren't keeping good financial track of how much Free EMP they were giving out with the purchases of regular EMP. This constant flow of Free EMP and lack of book-keeping finally took it's toll on EME, plus the pandemic. It had nothing to do with greed.

    I think my account was hacked. I'm so confused right now. I can't get in contact with support because my information is incorrect, and there's some other account in my "Game Account Names" on Game Forge? I logged into the game on MY account and all my characters are gone?? I'm so confused and really worried that all my stuff is gone, please help!

    Hey there.

    You need to re-create your account for the Support site, as they use separate registrations. Be sure to use the same email and then you can create a Support Ticket detailing the issues. Make sure you explain what server you were on, the name of characters, etc. and they can help you out.

    Can you tell me where you came from originally? Like EU, or NA, etc

    I reported this months ago when they re-added scrolls to the merchants, and they (for some reason) have two different tables; One for merchants in open-world and one for the Major Towns, and they said they'd look into it and send it to the Devs to fix.

    Shops are a per-publisher thing. I don't know why they said they had to send it off to the Devs when they can just find the appropriate IDs and add/remove them as necessary. I have no idea why this is still this way.

    Hola

    Encontraste un Server con Gente que hable español?, supuse que el Server INT, era de cualquier sitio, pero parece que no :).

    Hola!

    No hay un servidor delegado en espanol. Sin embargo, dependiendo de su ubicacion, puede unirse a los servidores de NA o los servidores de la EU.

    --------------------------------------------------------

    There is not a Spanish-delegated server. However depending on your location, you can join the NA servers or the EU servers.

    So your saying that a Community Manager is lying in this post? That I also seen you post in.

    Please re-read my post, I edited after I looked over your 'link' as it was blended in and actually saw it and edited before you posted. I edited my post accordingly, however again, it's still impossible, nobody from NA Tera has been able to get their account back since the closure of migration since December of last year.

    Not what I see from this Link. I seen people this year still get there old accounts back.

    If you are from EME like the rest of us, you cannot get your account back if you didn't migrate on EME's website. Your account data, along with everyone else who didn't migrate in time, was wiped from EME's servers and was not able to legally be sent to GameForge due to GDPR (the General Data Protection Regulation).

    So no, nobody since migration ended on December 18th, 2020 got their accounts back, as it is physically impossible to do so.

    For reference, a link to a different post in the FAQ thread;

    [FAQ] TERA America

    EDIT: That is for EU's tera, and their accounts were never wiped due to a merger. That is why they're able to recover their account. It's an entirely different situation.

    [FAQ] TERA America (<--- This is a hyperlink, click to view the thread)

    If you had an account with EnMasse, and didn't get the transfer done before the shut-down of EME servers and before GameForge closed the transfer, you no longer have an account and you have to re-download TERA (Gameforge's version) and start over, sad to say.

    thank you for your wonderful response, this will absolutely make ppl enjoy contacting support team again and again instead of playing smoothly about these continuing issues while logging in and or teleporting to other places. I already contacted the support team and still waiting for the amazing fix.

    Did you even attempt any of the fixes in the thread provided? It looks like you just skipped to the part that said 'Please contact Customer Support' and didn't even read the fixes.

    Oh my god! Don't even say something like that or else you'll get banned! ANNND lemmie asky how can you dislike the mighty greatest, finest gameforge?! They are making Tera great again!

    Flaming, blackmailing, trolling is unforgivable, that's it this thread is now closed.

    Aside from necroing an old thread;

    Flaming and trolling is never accepted in any game. Tolerated, but you folks with your alts take it to the point of harassment.

    P.S: Blackmail is illegal.

    Ty gameforge for uploading another bugfest. Thats how caring about costumers works. Not.

    Customers* and I'm certain they test the patches internally, makes a list and sends it as all developers do. However, they also have people like you who just groan about "bugfest" but don't actually explain what the issue is, and I highly doubt you took the time to send in a ticket to report it, which means you're not helping the situation, but you're complaining. :stick:

    If you look in the major cities (Velika, Kaiator, and Allemantheia) where the Map is yellow with no label of any kind, those areas were meant to be housing originally, which is why they're bare and mostly empty, excluding small things like crates, and usually provide 'houses' on the outside, but clearly aren't able to be interacted with.

    For Velika;

    Allemantheia's was meant to be underground, which is what the multiple elevators are for inside the city;

    Kaiator;

    I don't recall a reason why BlueHole cancelled the idea, but I just know they built the areas, colored them yellow, then left them sitting there. It'd be nice if they'd do anything with all the empty spaces we have (Baldera, anyone?), however I can say with certainty that after all this time, without any original developers (99% likely) around, they're looking at those and wondering what the spaces are for too, and then forgetting they exist and leaving them alone because it's not part of the story, nor is it part of game mechanics.
