Without dungeons worth running, either for mats or for gold the game is no longer worth playing. I used to run a lot of dungeons before the patch and p2w stuff, now I have pretty much stopped playing all together. Once they go p2w it's pretty much over and time to move on. Way to go gameforge on killing the game.
what is your problem if someone buys their own gear through p2w? do you play pvp and someone will beat you because he bought a gear? what do you care what kind of gear a person has? Or are you just jealous of him that he can buy and you can't?
Why in 2021 people still think p2w is bad? how then should the publisher and the developer make money? Don't you think that renting a server or developing new content also costs money?
It would be fine if the materials from dungeons were more plentiful, then sure let the scrubs get their p2w gear and suck ass at the game. But when it can take several months for non payers to catch up. And please don't preach about someone being jealous about someone buying gear and they can't, I've already spend like 4-5k usd on gameforge since the migration on cosmetics and other things and I refuse to p2w. What is the ****ing point of playing then. Your logic is wrong.
Then we get stuff like leaderboards that are affected by it, Buy your p2w gear and control the leaderboards and get the titles for several months while f2p get shafted(even if they are more skilled). get the hell off my mmo and go play a game made for p2w
I wanted so bad to play this game from the very beginning to the very end, but with the blatant p2w stuff lately....I don't even want to play at all anymore. Playing the game normally is becoming a fulltime job and even then it still is not rewarding enough. This is a huge middle finger to every single free to play player.
Gameforge you should be ashamed at yourselves!!!
As much as I have loved playing this game for several years, I am starting to think abandoning this game might be the better thing to do at this point.
Umm, yeah. No wonder I find myself logging in less and less every day. These pay to win people getting everything, while all the dungeons have worthless drops. This is one of the reasons why I never really liked gameforge to begin with.
If you want to get ahead in this patch better swipe it up. Why play the game anymore if the drops are crap and you can just pay real money to skip the rng. This game is in very bad state right now.
This is probably the worst patch ever, what the hell were the developers and/or publisher even thinking or better yet smoking? Pure p2w BIS, downgrade in mid tier gear but not BIS, bandaid fix double drop(which will go back to crap after it's over), 3 boring dungeons for lower geared players that are too easy to do and don't prepare people for the higher ilvl stuff.

I know for some it might be fun, but it is beyond ridiculous when only one or 2 can actually get past them when you need 3. Especially in IMS
You have to change the region in the launcher to North America. If you are playing on steam you have to select NA after launching

So I have 1661 letters which represent 16610 tera thalers which represent for a rate of 50€ for 1000 tera Thalers = 830€ or 1007 dollards.
With 1000 dollards you dont have an A or a B.
So you know that a A or a B are less than 1/1661 chance to get by opening a tome.
But that's only my exemple and I am an adult who pay the tome with the money of my hard work, it does not mean that I am not entirely disgusted by that poor rate.
If you spent 1k dollars and never got 2 letters that is highway robbery.
That code I assume would be no good anymore since it was only valid on the EME side of TERA and since they ceased to be a company I doubt you will get it to work with Gameforge, sorry.
Do like KTera does and require a social security number to even play the game.. I'm KIDDING, but you're right it's lawless here

I fish for superior nocteniums now, I don't buy the multi nostrum they are overpriced.
I really doubt anything will really happen to them. Ban a few of the cheaters, dozens more pop up in their place, it's sad what these parasites will do to the game.
