  • This is probably the worst mmo gear patch I have ever played (rant post)

    While LA is not perfect, and does have some issues and all that, it's a way better game in almost every aspect by a country mile. I'm finally able to spend money again and not feel like I'm being treated like a piece of dirt. I keep popping in from time to time on TERA only to see it getting worse each passing day. I'm really surprised it hasn't had a shutdown notice yet.

  • Crashing and server lag in Highwatch

    This has been ongoing on Velik server as well for days and nothing has been done about. I just logged in about 2 hours ago to see if anyone was online in the guild and there was only 8 people in highwatch channel 1 and 2 combined. That happens to be the most populated server situated in North America TERA. So either people are done with it or it's still happening. Before this started happening on Saturday there was at least 2-3 times the players there on average. each day. Doesn't really matter about any other areas of the map they are all ghost towns, you can see tumbleweeds blowing around.


    I'm having a lot of fun btw on my new mmo game, makes me wonder why I stuck with TERA for 11 years. NO crashes, people that play, good support quality, decent and helpful guild, none of the game breaking exploits happening and not getting fixed ASAP., and none of the most hateful comments I have ever heard in my 44 years I've been around.

    Just make it so I never again have to run Thaumetal Refinery for Vitality Fragments.

    TR and MC are only guaranteed sources for those. 3-man TR is faster, and easily worst content ever added to game. Also TR makes about half of you runs if you want to enchant something.

    Put Vitality Fragments in Elleon's Marks, in Ghillieglade or anywhere but don't make me run TR again.

    I am so pissed off and disappointed at this that I highly recommend everyone and I mean everyone just leave this shit show and play a real mmo game. Why support a company that doesn't give a crap and is giving us the middle finger? I'll miss the combat, I really will and the players I have gotten to know over the years, but no more of this, it's making me sick to my stomach just thinking about how badly run this is.

    What's funny is that when Enmasse was around people were all like gameforge is like the lord and savior of TERA so everyone went there from NA, especially after the proxy fiasco. I really hope for the future of any potential mmo published by gameforge to not give the game high expectations or sink all your money into it, you will regret it. They have a horrible record as is and if you think this will change overnight you will be sadly mistaken.

    OK, so whoever came up with the decisions in this patch concerning enchanting and dungeons needs to be fired from development and never rehired ANYwhere.


    1. The drops are absolute garbage and disrespectful of our time and effort even with double drop it is complete BS, and you guys at gameforge should know better than to accept this shit from the developer.


    2. Strongboxes should drop IN game and not be on cash shop. To open a box and get the content from it( which will most likely be complete crap btw) is 1.50 USD PER box. Unacceptable


    3. This patch has essentially killed the game for almost every static of friends that like to play together because, by some "genious logic" everything is now for the FIRST time hard gated by items level.


    4. You guys are the laziest and most incompetent publisher/developer I have ever seen. Banyaka boxes (a paid service) STILL not updated, star boxes from the weekend box, not updated, scripters STILL ruining balance in the game. You guys ignore EVERY single complaint that is made anywhere, and feed us lies and actually think we're stupid to believe it.. Bugs that aren't being fixed at all. Hello VG bug on Shen server for starters, I won't list them all, because quite frankly if you are too stupid to know what bugs are around in game by now after months and months of reports, then you are truely hopeless.


    5. This patch cycle has essentially been a big **** you to any casual player or returning player. EVERY single player I have asked to come back and play this patch has left in utter disgust.


    6. Same old ,same old and nothing exciting at all. You are responsible to keep the players wanting to play more right...right. Yet you are doing NOTHING but the opposite and it shows clear as day. I recently wrote in a published review, which btw was not a rant post like this, that TERA is nothing more than a dressup simulator which combat being the ONLY thing going for it


    Just some food for thought, do yourself a favor, if you the publishers don't want to keep the game thriving then just shut it down, same with the developer.

    Feel free to add to this I am sick and fed up with all this nonsense
