This Topic is born from my experience over the years. The objective is to provide general information about this great job and help to better understand whoever wants to walk in the shoes of this noble class. Therefore, I will not delve into builds, as I consider it more important to understand the character and its mechanics than to have the A or B gear.

Priest is essentially a support job. His great ability to heal HP and give buffs that improve the performance of other jobs makes him essential in any party and not to mention that he can resurrect fallen teammates.

Anyone wishing to play High Priest must understand their role and be willing to:

    *Survive more than their companions.

*Keep buffs up (Blessing, Increase Dmg, etc...).

*Constantly give Resurrections. It is very important to note that all Resurrection, goes hand in hand with Blessings. The other debuffs are optional depending on the performance of everyone in the party, the survivability is the key (if the members die all the time, don't waste time) and the slack you have between skills. The more buff you can give, the better.

*Keep a proactive attitude and constant attention to the party members.

The last point is the most important, since it will determine the way you play.

    About the Skills:

The truth is that the information of each one can be found ingame and many veterans can easily remember and exchange them in different rotations, so I will concentrate on skills that correspond more to the core of supporting.

*Triple Nemesis - The main reason to use this skill is not damage dealing, but debuff is gives to enemies it hits. It reduces enemy endurance, weakening their defense and giving damage dealers change to do more damage.

*Blessing of Shakan - You and your allies within 8m receive a blessing that increases your power by X for 15 minutes.

"X" varies depending on skill rank.

*Blessing of Balder - You and up to 5 allies within 15m heal X HP every 2 seconds for 15min ("X" modified by your heal bonus).

*Energy Stars - Fires an energy bolt at a targeted enemy within 18m. The bolt damages the target, but it increases nearby group members' power by X and attack speed by 5% for 15 seconds.

*Grace of Resurrection - This is blessing-like buff to priest themself. While the buff is on, priest can instantly resurrect self with 100% health and mana if they happened to die in battle. It is an awesome skill, very useful for PvE. But on PVP some battlefields don't allow it use it.

*In addition to the basic skills that restore allies' health.

With time you will learn that it is the duty of every Priest to know what skills they have and what they do in each of their levels. This way you will be able to prioritize them when making builds and vary their use depending on what you will face.

    About the Stats

I think it is important to point out that these systems have modified the way we play and the job performance. If it is balanced or not, it is up to each one. But what is undeniable is that variants have been opened that did not exist before and that gives the possibility to experiment and investigate to take this job to another level.

    All my General Considerations.

*You must keep in mind that we will be alone in front of the world most of the time, so we will not depend on other allies most of the time.

    * You must keep in mind that in PVP, besides the gear you will have to use is different; the way of playing is also different.

*You should keep in mind that to increase performance there are several consumables needed to be obtained.

*You must keep in mind that the life of the Tanks is the second most important after your own.

    * You must keep in mind that when talking between which is better if a Priest or Mystic, there are no better than other class, there are several circumstances in which both classes stand out and provide the best of each one.

    * You must keep in mind that no death of an ally in the party is your fault, but you must always ask yourself what you should have done better to avoid it.
