Q: How often can I use a BuddyUp code?
A: If you have a new account, or haven't logged in for 30 days or more. Each code can be used up to 3 times.
Q: How can I use the BuddyUp code?
A: Make a new character or have one at level 9 or lower. Go to the character selection screen. You'll see a little card on the right side of the screen, saying "BuddyUp". Click on that card, select the character you want to use the code on, then enter or copy+paste (Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V) the code in there.
Q: Why should I use the codes in the first place?
A: Levelling a character with a code has many benefits.
You get a permanent lootpet (a pet that picks up loot for you, so you don't have to bother),
much gold in the form of gems (you can sell the gems to a merchant to get your gold), many temporary costumes and mounts (3 day, 7 day, 30day),
an experience scroll that gives you a free level, every few levels,
experience boost, tera club and many more!
Q: Am I really getting all of that from entering the code? Do you get anything from it?
A: Yes! You get a lot of benefits, and the one giving you the code gets a few potions and tokens as well!
Q: How do you get your own code? Can I give mine away too?
A: Once you reach a higher level (iirc level 40+), you can open your friendlist (U key), click the "BuddyUp" tab, and click on "Create a BuddyUp" code. The game will copy your code automatically. Now you can give it to your friends, too!
