Good day, You said you reinstall Tera and downloaded the Tera game on your PC while you left your computer on and went off to go to work. yes...

Meaning you left the Gameforge Client logon for a very long time while you where away. While the Gameforge Client is downloading the tera game. (i mean you could not downloaded the tera game at all without login on the gameforge client first to be able to download the Tera game that's why it DC after installing.)

So try first closing the gameforge client then restart your pc then after it boot up the windows, click open the gameforge client again. ( i just hope you didnt change the password so quickly without trying to restarting the gameforge client first.)

Also the standard browser is either ( Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome or Firefox Mozzila)

I wish if ever any of the admins that have the authority to improve the reaper dps (class) skill/gear damage of equal to the ninja class. Since both class reaper & ninja move really very fast in there own way. Besides i really love the Elin race there really very cute to play with and customized there outfit and mood.

Only my point is it really took a lot of several hits like 8 hits in total dps either mobs or boss before it even reach the point of damage same to ninja that only took 3 hits (p.s i mean the dps damage not the kill)

Also some of the disadvantages when starting in level 50 you cannot enjoy the benefits like the other class that start at a very low starting level. (I mean the dungeons and item drops while leveling as well to capture and fit in with some of the storyline in the game). Cause reaper seems to be a elin race that only been brought or born on the future (when the tera world is already at chaos) meaning reaper was never around yet during the period of timeline of velika and allementhea (cultis story line.) Which seems sad and yasrin was already dead before the reaper class even arrived. and zolin story line is fixed so there is no way to save her. (Grrr...) why do elins have to die?

Well my point is

1) The dps damage seems very low compared to ninja or archer class (i mean at the leveling stage)

2) Getting material drops after reaper starting map is slow (but i dont do party i always still enjoy doing solo) so i can always take my time to stop and explore a bit. Only questline and mobs is much harder by then. Only i already knew the questline maps from my previos other character.

3) i have no problem with the skill cool down only they seems to jolt at times when i am using combination attack, So i'm not sure if the skill do hit something or not, Cause of the lapse (sorry i'm a experience combo player from a other mmo online game) so it took some seconds before i could see the damage count from the chat system box.

4) Quest NPC's dont pay very well and afk farming also dont exist in this game. So 80% of the time i waste my time gathering and mining and also hoping to earn also a few in fishing to earn coins ingame (not relate to reaper class just my personal sentiment)

That seems odd... Have you first look if your PC computer meets the minimum system requirements of the game. But it seems the gameforge launcher you installed is working... cause you said you clicked repair 3x times. But after you clicked 'play button" of the game launcher and it show "In game" next... thus you see a "Tera" "Gameforge" "Bluehole" logo loading screen after that?

But to trouble shoot check each one of this

1.) You first download the tera game installer from gameforge. (It's a very small file that will connect to the gameforge server once you click it to install).

2) click install it only took 2 minutes to install the launcher not yet tera game.

3) click install tera from the launcher, You wait about 1 to 2 hours to download and install (depending on the speed connection of your ISP) and the capacity of your system requirements of your PC. when installing. it usually slows down when installing cause it also is installing some of it's file in the appdata of your windows. besides the folder you chosen to install.

4) wait till the play button show up in the tera gameforge launcher that how you will know it finished installing.

5) restart your computer windows after install cause some of it's file from appdate wont load yet when play button is pressed.

6) after the windows have fully restarted blah blah blah... and you see the gameforge launcher icon on the desktop besides also the Tera icon and clicked Gameforge Client to run you will see now the play Button of the game launcher.

7) when you click play you will see a loading screen of Tera with a picture and a logo of gameforge on the lower left and bluehole logo on the lower right.

then a bluhole starting animated screen will show followed by a warp screen after that.

9-a) then character creation after that if you have not created any character yet

9-b) if you already have created a previous character before ( and just reinstalled a game launcher again)

9-c) if all the 1 to 8 is checked and game having problem launching, update you windows OS cause sometimes this thing might also bug the game from launching properly or you pc just dont meet the system requirements needed to launch the game properly.

Actually there are some few things Gameforge can do for us, that atleast for me who came from a another MMO game and for all of us to be atleast be slightly happy with the game and make game playing a little bit easier and more fun.

One is that the so called "farming" which is mostly present in all the other online MMO that i played but seems in this game is not and the game is in turmoil or the inworld is. And what is mean by farming is there is a designated place on a certain map where all players no matter what level your character is starting from level 15 up to level 70 even how weak your character is doesn't matter. It's a map filled with very fast spawning low health and low damage mobs. That drops gold in denomination of (100gold, 500gold, 1000gold per mob) instead of any items. with no time limit and farm gold up to your heart desire. that adds 6 hours auto loot buff to all characters when entering the said map. also Pvp and Pve disable map, but party enabled if needed. also no boss spawning in the said map. (i know it sounds greedy but in this game inworld gold is valuable to help survive the game and powerup the gear of your character as well) Also you dont gain xp while killing these mobs just gold.

second is spoil players and make all character gears swim in stats ( i mean all existing class) like what i said add more and lots more of stats to the already currents existing gears both on defence and offence. which make will make sense in the long run either be the purpose be Pve in fighting high hp level bosses or fighting player to player Pvp without the need to change any parts of the gears or a "all purpose gear" that exist in other mmo games out there. ( and yeah i know your class character will be OP by then, so what atleast it would be your money worth or hard work grinding building your class character worth while the effort. And dont worry about class balance cause i mean all gear classes swim in stats.

third make ingame pets enable to fight as well and add stats also on to them ( what i mean the pet will now be able to attack anything that you attack and there type and stats is depending on the character clas that you have meaning the buff and attack type and pet defense depend on your character class. so any skills your class has the pet also have it.) and the pet level also along side you while gaining more skill as it level along besides you.

fourth add chances to all RNG boxes in cash shop, meaning example if a player bought 10 boxes he will get 5 chances back (to click) for 6 boxes he gets 3 chances back (to click) or meaning the more entry the more chances of winning the item they want. Without gambling there money and getting nothing.

fifth is add or make a currecy exchange ingame that can help or even boost the economy inworld of the tera online game. what do i mean by currency exchange. the game rely on two currecy one is "Gold" and the other is "Tera Thaler". So the mechanics goes like this 500k gold is exchangeable to 1 Tera Thaler or vice versa 100 Tera Thaler is exchangeable to 50 million gold. that is usable by any playes ingame on a certain appointed Currency Exchange npc that will not only benefit all players of the game but the staff and all of the employees of the game as well to pay for there salary in the long run. if the game economy exchange booms.

Hello Good day to everyone. I'm not a die hard fan of this MmoRpg Tera Online Game. Also im not really a player from this game as well, i came from some other Rpg Game... But my point is not about me... Everytime i see the new ingame loading screen wallpaper it some how reminds me of some year ago when En Masse was still around.

Who among you can still remember the Event held at the outskirt of Castanica at Serpent Isle... It was the time they made a Summer event ingame that was really nice. It was all solid fun and game without really needing to kill anything, and just have fun playing games at the sand and win permanent exclusive item prizes from the game without needing to grind or use thaller money. I really miss that event...

LapisKittie when you logout game and want to restart login in, i know it sayd "game is still running" most or some of the time wait an average about 6 to 8 minutes till it show the game client "play button" to be able to login again. and the game is just really slow compared to your pc your using. Cause this Tera Online game is still using an old service provider service connection and the problem is on there end not yours and they still didn't upgraded it yet. Do not force shut down the game client nor restart your computer just to be able to play again. Cause sometimes the Tera Game Client will got bunkers if you do that and will force you to re install again the whole game client lol. Also if you have time install Java in to your OS it might help a little to fast things up.

Yes indeed the skills upgrade seems pretty bothersome at times at some level, slowing you down and forcing you to click it... only at times it appears on the most worst possible of times while a boss is spam killing you and you have to click it while fighting at the same time lol...

What do you actually mean by login on another computer? To what i know or if you mean if you had two computer in your home that share a same private network. Then yeah no problem. But there is a common law on among all MMORPG games not just Tera that it is forbidden to logon in any public places just common sense, like ex. Spa, Malls, Resorts, common computer rentals, convenience stores, etc... That is open to the public. Besides i think most internet service providers connections services in homes are all mostly IP dynamic connection. so also no problem if you also mean that...

Mr Nimrod your thinking way too far out of the box... haha... sorry about that, it's just simple each time you want to say something or want to talk to someone. You just press the "enter" button then type anything you want to say. And to use the back slash command ( / ) Ex. Happy or Laugh you just stand your character facing the object or a player then press enter then type /Happy and that's it.

Other commands you can do with the ( / ) backslash command is the following... /sad or /cry /angry or / mad /happy or /laugh /sit and this ( / ) backslash commands are also called basic character "emote gesture". that can be found on all other games that is ( / ) backslash enabled.

I test the internet connection from my side the latency seems pretty normal and the ping very low. The windows drivers are all up to date, What i did is i uninstall the whole gameforge game client instead then downloaded again a fresh up to date install of the GF game client then downloaded and install Java onto my pc. And the problem seems to just fix itself up inworld and my character and the game is not lagging anymore.

so i don't know if this is the case cause my pc is old, even though there are times i get an error message saying "Dirextx 5 missing" while playing the game even though Dirext-X 12 is installed on my computer

While playing in world this few past days i noticed that my fps increase imminently and very frequently when other players are around or near my character and the game lag so much, and that i dont know why? and i'm getting confused and annoyed in what to do cause it also affects the quest i'm doing. And if it increase some more then i got DC.

But after when i try to get some far distantce from the other players the fps drops and the game goes normal again. Which is sort of weird or probably those are the players that are maybe using 3rd party apps/software game booster. To gain some speed advantage. But not all some few players dont affect the game connection fps at all when there around. So i dont know whether should i file a ticket for this. Or whom to talk too. Cause the management and operators of this game neither wont even bother to talk or find time to talk to it's community whom playing this game.

I know my question will gonna sound dumb or even been ask already by someone years ago. But is there a players guide manual about this tera game, that i can read that teaches in how to do "Etching".

Also if there is a guide manual for tera players that teaches also in how to do "Glyphs and Character Skills Upgrading", and fussing (2) two or (3) three character skills together to upgrade to a more powerful skill

And lastly a player guide in how to do Crafting i tried somehow doing this when i learned fishing, My problem is "How to make it reach atleast 500 points" to learn a new crafting skill which i think would cost me a very long while since it also consumes a lot of gold, just to add 3 points or 5 points in each successful crafting. So earning gold and adding crafting points will atleast would took me probably a very long while about 6 months or more just to reach 500 points.

I forget, at level 62, do you have a Redeem Vanguard Initiative Credits button in your Vanguard Requests screen? That's a free teleport to Highwatch.

Alternately, if you have any Vanguard Requests located in Val Oriyn, they should have a teleport button that will take you directly to their location.

If all else fails, you could ask in global if someone will parcel you a teleport scroll for Highwatch or the Trading Post.

Edit: I almost forgot, if you go back to the airship platform outside of Velika, in the place where you talked to the Popo to board the airship, there's now a teleporter that will take you back to the crash site.

Yes i know cause i already finished doing those things some months ago and now my character is lvl70, Only I already fully stopped doing vanguard it seems pointless and make no sense doing it at all at my character state not only drops rates is bad but also earning money or funds to improve my character in this game is almost impossible to beging with. Unless you spend real life money with your credit card on the game, playing free loader in this game is hopeless in every other aspect and i wont exhaust my efforts any longer to strain myself in playing just for some missly few drops.
