Increase your equipment level and you will have access to many more dungeons. ;)

If it was possible to increase your ilvl easily without having to grind forever, people wouldn't be asking for more low ilvl dungeons.

*a nostalgic sigh* I miss 2019 tera, when there were plenty of dungeons of various difficulties so everyone could run a variety of dungeons of their preffered difficulty. That was great.

Now I feel like there not enough dungeons of any difficulty. Between patch 92 and 103 it seemed to me that there were a lot of hard dungeons and not enough medium difficulty ones but now there are not even enough hard ones. (At least that's how it looks to me. I don't personally run extra hard dungeons but there are only like four of them.)

Seems like a small step in the right direction

Yes, I just noticed this and was pleasantly surprised by the news. : ) I'd like to thank GameForge for listening to our feedback and actually lowering the item level (if somebody from the team is reading this.)

I agree it's only a small step, the change of ilvl is not that large, but... better than nothing. Let's hope it will be followed by making kaia easier to enchant in some way.

Though I'm confused about what the news said about FAUW, it says that ilvl has been changed to 498, but it already is 498... So is that a typo or do they only adjust difficulty and drop? Guess we'll see tomorrow.

funnily..i kinda appreciate the pay ress

I also think the pay res is great when you are learning the dungeon. However having 99 res for your 100th run seems excessive to me... I would limit the number of resses and/or runs.

Second boss is a terrible boss for a new healer because of the heal check mechanic

I'm a kinda-veteran mystic with +12 kaia and I can barely outheal that mechanic (sometimes a few people die on that mech). So I'm kinda horrified on behalf of new players who are trying to learn to play a healer in that dungeon. Is it even possible to outheal it with +0 kaia?

Really old times, like years ago, we used to have 5 pay ress for when you were rookie on the dungeon, meaning didn't complete the dungeon more than 5 times at that time. So for old players the pay ress system now is frustrating XD

When I played in 2019, I think it was 5-20 res for your first 10 runs... I think you had more res in easier dungeons and less in harder ones (which didn't make sense to me). Do I remember it wrong?

Having unlimited res makes it easier to learn dungeons now but I still kinda miss being a crucial party member.

Also, why unify the gold cost of pay ress? It only causes new players have zero gold on the first dungeon they have access, i have seen a lot of them complaining about gold. People won't stop paying just because the price is higher, at this point i think the community don't even know healers can ress, not even the healers themselves...

I once entered a GV and told my party "I can res you, don't waste gold"... But they PAYED anyway! I felt like an idiot and didn't do that again. But your post made me realize I shouldn't have given up so easily... I'll try with another party... Maybe if more healers did this, people would actually remember that healers can res. v_v

Personally, I hate that they added 99 payed res to nearly all dungeons... It made my role (healer) from the most important party member to the most useless one. In theory, you could just run any dungeon without a healer and pay your way through. The previous system, when you had about 20(?) self-res on your first 10 runs made more sense, it was actually a great system. (But I would expand it to first 20 runs, or better, tweak the number based on every dungeon's difficulty.)

Btw, I agree with your post, just wanted to add a "fun fact".

Just for other people who might be reading this thread, I will add that there is anow an "Enhanced Duranium Medailon" in the Elleon shop for 600 Elleon's token, which gives you gear infusions far superior to the previous ones - I got a 1640 magic resistance infusion from it! It's much higher than rolls you can get...

When you do reach 498 and you should not worry about it, do you know what you will actually do? Spam catalepticon

You don't HAVE TO spam catalepticon upon reaching 498 ilvl. You will have other dungeons available. You can spam Catalepticon if you want to but you have a CHOICE to play other fun dungeons. That's my main issue with this patch. The lack of a choice.

Technically, I can choose to run DAN but I'm handicapped because I can't IM for it (so I have to use lfg, which takes longer) and I get no vanguard rewards.

The current state of the game is this: People who did not have best gear before the patch (Kaia +15) are now denied all fun in endgame. The only thing they can do is grind three boring dungeons for a meager drop rate, which will not allow them to upgrade to +15 and unlock more dungeons anytime soon. This is NOT FUN AT ALL. People are gonna leave the game over this. I've seen many people being upset about this, both on this forum and elsewhere.

There are three possible ways to improve this situation:

    1) lower the ilvl requirements for some of the 498 dungeons so that we can run more dungeons

    2) add more dungeons for ilvls below 498 (event dungeons perhaps?)

    3) make enchanting to kaia +15 easier so that we are not stuck in the three boring dungeons for so long

I will now elaborate on these three points.

First, the ilvl requirements seem unnecessarily high. I play a mystic with 490 ilvl (Kaia +11/+12) and I did two DANM runs after the patch (through lfg because I can't IM) and it was completely doable for me, had no problems running this dungeon. (Though I admit the ilvl might be more of an issue for a dps than a healer. But I still think lowering the requirements a little bit would not hurt the dps too much.) I have yet to test this in more hard dungeons (will keep this threat updated).

Adding more dungeons is pretty self-explanatory because more variety of dungeons = more fun. It would be great if they were a little challenging.

Another solution, would be to increase the drop rate of improved feedstock in dungeons or add another way to get this feedstock.

What you said in the patch notes about a "significantly reduced number of enchanting materials" was very misleading. Replacing EVERYTHING with improved feedstock (even repair materials and materials for enchanting below 10) does not make it easier to enchant at all. There is currently a shortage of improved dark shard feedstock (improved armor feedstock was completely sold out on broker the day of the patch). People were hoarding normal dark shard feedstock, only to find out they are useless in this patch. A solution to this would be add an easy way to get cohesion arcane to transform normal feedstock into improved feedstock. Somebody suggesed adding cohesion arcane in Elleon shop, which I think is a great idea. Or you could add it as a reward in some event. People who have hoarded normal feedstock would be very happy about this, and it would improve the situation around shortage of improved feedstock too. EDIT: It would be awesome if normal feedstock could be converted into improved feedstock just by righ-clicking, but I understand this would be technically difficult to implement.

EDIT: A great solution to the enchanting problem would be to completely remove the chance to drop a level when enchating Kaia, that would make it much easier to reach +15, needless to say that dropping a level is extremely frustrating. A similar effect could be achieved by implementing an easy way to obtain a 100% Serghetto's Safeguard.

Thank you for reading and possibly considering these solutions.

So they released 3 new heroes and I was excited to play some games again because I thought people will get excited and play the battle arena more.

But no, nobody plays this gamemode, even with 3 new heroes added... 30 min+ queue and then I gave up.

I was hoping for this too but when I found only one person in the lobby, I just gave up and logged out...

I don't think that there are no people who still want to play TBA but the problem is that the people who come check out the new heroes all do so at different times so there are never 12 people online at the same time...

If you click on any blue text in your journal, it should show you where to go on the map. Either way, the Plague Hunt missions seems to be taking place near Popolion in the Poporia province (unless they changed the quest - your journal will tell you the accurate location better than me) and Cutthroat Harbor is a town in the Ostgarath province. You can find useful info like this on tera.fandom.com/wiki/ or teralore.com/us/ (or on the ingame map). You can travel to Cutthroat Harbor or Popolion by going to Velika and then taking a pegasus or buying a teleport scroll from a merchant to go to these towns.
