If you want to get this fixed, write to support. Don't waste time spamming people in the game or on the forum, they can't help you.

Somebody else recently posted on the forum about exactly the same problem... Look at this thread: TALYPH 69 IS MISSING

They said support fixed it eventually.

(Don't forget that your support account is not the same as your gameforge account - you need to make a separate account to contact support.)

Sorry for speaking English in the German forum, I can't speak German but I'm very passionate about Leander and Elleon so I had to answer.

The story of Elleon (Elion) and Leander (Lian) actually did continue after the Labyrinth of Terror, but those quests have already been removed from the game. Fortunately for you, I have recorded the cutscenes and uploaded them to youtube along with my summary of the story so you can actually find out what happened despite the quests being removed. (:

You can watch it here. (All four videos are a part of one storyline. If you click "read more" under the videos, you will find my detailed summary of the story.)

literally every game in existence follows this cycle. that’s what makes people play them. i don’t really get what you’re complaining about at all. them releasing a new dungeon and gear is the least of anyone’s worries right now.

The gear-cycle has always existed, but in the past, we had many more dungeons to choose from, and they had more fun mechs too... : /

For me the biggest change in Patch 108 is the reduction of the total number of dungeons AGAIN. Seeing this, I have lost all hope and quit Tera too.

Although I think Momo probably just made a mistake, lvl 75 might actually be coming. I've heard that the devs are planning to continue the argon story and if there is a new major continuation of the main story questline, they will probably also raise the max level.

Not looking forward to the level grind (I don't know anything about the amount of exp needed, just assuming based on the Exodor patch.)

I believe psychology is at play here. People remember their failures more than victories. So they will always remember it when their enchant fails more than "the expected number of times" but they might have forgotten the number of times they have managed to enchant faster than expected (possibly on lower enchantment levels). So in conclusion, people will always feel more unlucky than they really are.

If you want to actually prove that the enchant rate is lower than stated, you need to collect the exact number of tries from a large number of players (and make sure they report the number for all their gear, not only those pieces of gear that took too long to enchant.)

All of this aside, I do believe 10 % is a frustratingly low chance so your anger at the devs is justified.

Like I feel there's no need to prove that the chance is lower than stated because the chance is too low ALREADY.

EDIT: Now I see that you actually asked people to share their enchant succes in the original post, before other people misdirected the discussion to argue about the meaning of probability. I'm sorry I don't actually have any data for you because I never bothered enchanting my gear (too much grind for too low upgrade chance).

In the case of getting +7, the 50% mark is at the 7th try. So you SHOULD get it around the 7th try, sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less.

I believe this is not how statistics works, there's no "SHOULD" in statistics. Statistics don't describe what should or will happen to you as one specific person, because as you said,

over a large number of tests

You and your few friends are not a large number of tests.

i would personally like some easy dungeon to play with (where i can play in a relax mode). but all the feedback i got so far is the present higher dungeon require high dps player. and if one unable to do it, there will be wipe out mechanics activated.

so i guess fun in tera can be an issue now. as i keep on getting the impression the developer intend to push all dps players to be high dps player.

I didn't specify it in my post but I actually meant adding easy or mid-tier dungeons with fun mechs, so that you can relax AND have fun at the same time. Manglemire was perfect for this. The mechs very really interesting but at the same time, if you failed them, it wasn't such a big deal because most of them they didn't do that much damage so you didn't need to be stressed. That's the kind of dungeon that I love, and that is currently missing from the game.

I feel like the current tera has a serious lack of dungeons with interesting and fun mechanics.

Patch 102 has removed all of my favourite dungeons from the game and since then the pve gameplay has felt kind of boring to me. The devs don't make fun mechanics anymore, and they have also removed all the dungeons that had them.

I undestrand that the devs probably don't have the resources to make new dungeons with multiple bosses and interesting mechanics, but there is an easy solution to the lack of fun dungeons: just bring back old dungeons, without any changes being made to them - especially NOT removing bosses from them! Back in the day, the devs knew how to make fun mechanics.

Maybe this solution will not satisfy some of the people who have grinded these dungeons many times in the past and got permanently bored of them.

But personally, I would love to see old dungeons back in the game.

I was very happy when I read in the Korean patch notes that Dark Reach Citadel was gonna be re-added (because the first two bosses have some fun mechs), then extremely disappointed when it was only the last boss with no fun mechanics. Since then I have lost motivation to play tera since there are no fun dungeons in the game anymore. Manglemire was the last fun dungeon in my opinion.

But every person likes different kinds of dungeons, which is why the ideal state would be to have a high variety of dungeons to choose from, meaning a lot of different dungeons in the game, like we had in 2019. With the current population, it might mean longer que times, but re-adding fun dungeons could also help increase the population...

These are my opinions but I obviously can't speak for everyone because different people like different dungeons. So I'm opening a discussion here. Would you like to see old dungeons back in the game?

You mean server transfer voucher? Note that you can't use it to transfer from a EU server (such as Mystel) to an NA server, as far as I know.

Hello and welcome back to tera.

    Re: dismantling

You asked (before you edited your post) how to tell what the item dismantles into. When you hover over an item, at the bottom of the description there will be a section entitled [Obtained Items] or [Random Chance to Obtain Items]. Following it is a list of items you can obtain when dismantling. If an item's description doesn't have this section, it's probably not dismantlable.

If you want to survive, you need to dodge more. Tera combat is based on skills more than gear so better gear will not save you from dying if you don't dodge. As a warrior, you have two dodges (invincibility skills): evasive roll and death from above. As Somnambula suggested, you can also try to switch to defensive stance and block (but from my expenrience of a not-very-skilled-warrior, killing BAMs actually turned out to be easier in assault stance than defensive stance because they die faster that way).

If you really can't kill them, of course you can try to party up with someone or ask a lvl 70 player for help, but I think it will be good practice for you to try to kill them yourself. It will be easier for you to practice your skills on these fangspawn than in a dungeon. If you find it too hard, it might be a good idea to first practice your rotation on lower level BAMs before you move on to these guys. You could even practice on exactly the same kind of BAM to learn their attacks - find some lower level fangspawn somewhere. Reading a warrior guide might help too.

EDIT: I have found a suitable practice fangspawn for you, it's in Ex Prima (near Highwatch) and it's lvl 62: http://teradatabase.net/us/npc/001812036/

Sadly, I feel the same, I've been playing tera for years but I feel like in the last year the community has gotten much worse than it used to be... Is it just me, or are other old players also seeing this change?

Btw if you wanna play with someone nice, add me in-game (name Sewin on Mystel server), I never get mad at anyone for not being skilled and I help new players. c:

Interesting. They actually did kind of impelement suggestion 3 for one whole patch, although quite clumsily (and then removed it with the next patch for some reason). It was called the "dungeon gauntlet". Selected dungeons had either 5 or 30 tiers to choose from. But they did one thing wrong: The instance matching was the same for all tiers - only after matching with random teammates, you had to communicate with them to decide on a tier. So it didn't really allow you to choose an easy tier because most parties wanted at least tier 10 out of 30... I think it would have been a good system if IM was not the same for all tiers. I hope they fix this problem and bring it back (but honestly it seems they have forgotten about this system, it was a few patches ago).

I would love to be able to choose dungeon difficulty. That would at least kind of reduce the problem with lack of dungeons, although I would still prefer a large variety of dungeons over a few dungeons with several tiers. My biggest complaing about current tera is the lack of dungeons, there used to be like 4x more endgame dungeons in 2019. I had plenty of dungeons of my preffered difficulty to run and it was so much fun. Right now there is no dungeon that I really love in the game. If there were more dungeons, people would have a higher chance of finding a dungeon they like. I'm really sad when they remove dungeons from the game.

However I disagree with your notion that casual players become try hard players with time. I have played tera since 2013 and I was always a casual player, I never was and never will be a try hard player. In contrast, some new players already create threads on reddit asking "which class/race does the most dps", etc. It's a completely different mentality.

(However there is a possibility that we are using the words "casual" and "try hard" with a slightly different meaning. Just out of curiosity, how do you define a casual player?)

Funny thing: after years of playing tera, I actually came to appreciate how terribly written the quests are. It somehow makes it sound more immersive - when you talk to somebody irl, they also don't explain names that are considered common knowledge. Also, the unfinished storylines are a goldmine for fanfiction ideas (although I have fully written only one so far.)

I love your idea about a box that appears when you hover over a name - because extra lore! ... and just because it would require a lot of extra writing (and honestly, do the devs even remember what those names mean?), I doubt they will do it.

I recently came upon this new video about gear, it's only a few days old so it's up to date, it talks about etchings too (don't forget to read the description as it talks about a new type of etchings that wasn't mentioned in the video).

Skill upgrades are pretty straightforward, the description tells you what materials you need to upgrade the skill. There are two types: skill advancement and skill options. For skill advancements you need skill advancement scrolls and skill advancement points. Skill options let you choose one of three ways to upgrade your skill (you can unlock all of them, but can only use one at a time). For unlocking skill options you need skill optimization scrolls. The materials drop in dungeons and you can also get them by sending your partner on the Gossamer Vault adventure. If you don't know what skill option or glyphs to use, check your class discord.

Unfortunately I can't help you with crafting as I don't craft. However I know that you can skip the learning by just buying a scroll that gives you master crafting skill. But you can only have one master skill so that's not usefull if you have already mastered one craft.
