I'm all for any ideas that'll help unlock classes for everyone.
I don't know how true this is, but the reason I heard as to why the Elins get catered to is because they "saved" the game from going under back when it was sub-only. Since Japan loves "cute" characters, all the e-shop items made for them made the developer enough money to stay them afloat...and the rest is history.
I understand the decision based on that, but it shouldn't have meant exclusivity. Could have very well made content available to everyone.
As far as classes go, I've thrown all "lore" reasons out the window when they made the Valkyrie available to Elins when it was lore-locked to Castanics. No excuse not to unlock the reapers for anyone else now.
Poor Amani and Baraka - they don't have anything...
