    I have to say at this point that a lot of people have been banned for receiving exploited items and the "ban wave" or whatever you want to call it isnt over yet. I still heard from people (yes main accounts) that they have been banned yesterday. I still wont mention any names since it is not my decision to "expose" certain player.

    If you want to have any names, you should check tera europe discord some time because there most people stated that they have been banned or shared pictures of their launcher which basically showed that they couldnt login anymore.
    Concerning those russian end game player there has even been released a meme video which shows all of the banned people:


    However it's literally sad how gameforge handles the whole situation.
    There hasnt even been a public announcement concerning this whole situation!!
    And I can already see people spamming in Atmorph's chat in tomorrow's stream even though he has nothing to do with this whole thing.

    A shit ton of players abusing gear exploit have been banned. I am not sure if you have even seen the huge ban wave on Shakan, but even a lot of "big fishes" have already been banned on Mystel and Yurian. (Don't really wanna share any names since it would not be fair to expose anyone but if you spent some time in tera europe discord you should have noticed)

    All of the people who still have their gear on are simply people who got the gear without even exploiting(by trades for example). Gameforge has started this week to ban people who had connections with exploiters and benefited because of that.

    I am not sure how strict they are concerning bans and backreroll items but if it ends like enmasse handled it...

    This will be the end for sure. Cause not only casuals who didn't have anything to do with the exploit will get mad and the exploiters (or people who bought items from exploiters) are gone/banned.

    Best solution would be to roll back to Heroic Oath gear.
    - No RNG rolls
    - No damaged gear
    - No downgrades

    - No tradeable gear which destroys market

    Its actually sad how this game has developed in the last year.
    With every patch the player base got more and more frustrated. Many left the game, others just abuse exploits because they dont actually care if they are getting banned or not since the game is already dead to them.

    - Banning people who exploited (duped) items is ofc necessary and afaik has already been done

    BUT banning people who bought exploited gear is hard to do in my opinion. There isnt really a way to detect if an item is legit or not. Of course there are certain indicators like open liberations but it is still not a 100% proof and people might have spent a lot of gold for those items without even knowing that those are exploited. And then "punishing" them with a temp. ban for spending gold?

    Best way is to release an event which allows people to get BiS rolls on gear.
    I dont think there is a good way to track the exploited gold since most of that gold has been probably already spent in broker or by buying TT from sellers...

    I hope they learned from all the mistakes they made while introducing this gear and wont do that in the future anymore. But first we have to deal with temporary etchings and guess what: NEW RNG infusions....

    I definitely agree with you on the mentioned stuff.
    I would like to add one thing concerning percentage based HP drains.
    So after the balance changes Berserkers would have to increase their maximum amount of HP to increase their damage output. Since all skills which drain HP for casting/overcharging got changed to drain a %-based amount of HP instead of a flat one it means that the higher your maximum HP is, the higher your HP drain will be.

    On top of that many dungeons have got mechanics which drain %-based HP from players which means that Berserkers would always lose more HP then other classes.
    So now to the actual problem:

    Most of the "Heal"-skills however only regenerate you by a flat amount of HP which means that Berserkers would need more healing then other classes which can be really annoying for many Mystics/Priests (especially low geared ones) and could end in Zerks being (attention: small overreaction) rejected in parties.
