    Hey there,

I wanted to share my thoughts here on the current patch of Tera, but I have no idea how to start a forum thread.

Most of the upcoming sentences will be in harsh language so it shouldn't be taken too seriously.

First of all it is basically everthing wrong about the new patch. Starting up with the Quest, Dailies & new playable Area.

First it didn't seemed to bad, new Area and a new Questline. After I reached the second Island of the questline I already got annoyed of it and did a break. After I finished the questline I was happy to be done with it and then got slapped in the face by doing everything again with dailie quests. And after doing them for two days I gave up on it (not even going to that Island anymore). Then there are those mobs where you draw the aggro from while you stand in Highwatch at the banker. Literally how are you even supposed to move over that Island without having the world following you? Flying? No. 20mins of flying is not enough (and f*** doing dailies for that garbage). RIP Healers? The only good thing about that area is the visual look of it and that is it.

Now to the new dungeon Akalath Quarantine or Verraks Fortress.

Recycled bosses with basically same move sets or combined move sets out of other dungeons. It costs 385 points for literally no rewards. You drop one piece of armor or weapon at the first boss and I think it is guaranteed to be a blue piece I might be wrong on that so pls no hate. And the last boss what only drops one piece, at least it has a 0.0000001% chance to be the legendary gear. I'd rather run bahaar to get the 6k gold from the vanguard then running that garbage. It doesn't even drop the upgrade mats (feedstock), why? Reason enough to not run this dungeon anymore. If you want some ideas to make it worth: Make Feedstock a guaranteed drop for all group members, reduce the costs of entering, increase the drop rate of high grade gear and let the first boss drop more than one thing. Thank you.

    Enchanting itself and the costs.

So the new enchanting system is in short trash. After being lucky once in a lifetime I got one piece of legendary gear and wanted to upgrade it. After having several fails to enchant it just to +1 I got upset and had a question. Why can't I see the upgrade percentage anymore? Is it because the success chance is that low that it be emberassing to show it? After having my piece on +6 the fun began. Repairing that piece of gear is way more expensive than the upgrade but at least you can now see that you have a 100% success chance on repairing it. And after reaching +9 it is able to downgrade (for example: from +10 - +9). WHY?? I am not that far with my piece but I've seen some things, one player reached +12 at least 4 times with the same piece of gear. And to get the feedstock you either have to earn a lot of money to buy feedstock from the Tera shop (that is just disgusting imo) P2W or some might say Pay to progress, being a no life to farm world bosses 24/7 or have the sanity to do the daily quests on a daily base. I am not doing any of these so I gotta farm my gold to buy it out of the broker. And probably they sit in their chairs and wonder why the game is dying.

The new gear, cards & Physical & Magical Amp.

All in all the new gear itself is not to bad if you ignore the rng of rolls, the enchanting and not being able to have double cdr anymore. It is easier to gear your alt character by just putting on blue gear. But the fact that bottom rolls are rng, it destroys everthing again to gear your main character. Some people might say you can still use HO+3 but to be honest if you want to maximize your damage output, you can't. You just want the new gear to be more able to tank stuff and deal more damage to clear dungeons faster, am I wrong? The addition of physical and magical damage isn't bad but also it is unnecessary. Especially that you are able to drop a physical weapon for Sorcerer shouldn't be a thing. Last up is the new card system. I also would say that it isn't that bad despite the fact you are also able to buy 250 cards from the tera shop or you have to farm 72hrs straight to get 20/20 cards.

I feel like that patch was not good and it will be hard to safe some things, I bet the player base also decreased drastically because of the new patch and if you asked me I would make the players acutally feel rewarded after going through pain and cancer (Akalath Quarantine) or make feedstock and gear better accessible let it drop in more than one dungeon, choose one only one thing in gear enchantment (either decrease or damaged) both is just way to much to handle. Let us see what the success rate is, let it be increased upon failure. And remove dailies :).

There is a general idea I had. Cooldowns are going to be resetted upon bosses death or if you wipe and teleport back in (in dungeons not open-world).

Before I start with my dungeon concept I had the idea instead of making level dungeons just level dungeons you can make them harder and be a level 65, 66, 67, 68, 69 or 70 instance with the certain item level and loot. Because I love Salerons Sky Garden and it would be nice to see it as a hard tier dungeon again.

Speaking of Salerons Sky Garden now to my dungeon concept:

I give it the name Comeruns Trial (or Salerons Trial) and is located in Sienna Canyon in Thunderhold. That will be a 453, 461 and 470 item level instance and be accessible at level 69. I have no actual design how the boss will look like but it shouldn't be a recycled boss. Now how it would look like: You start in a room and go the way on the right side to face Comerun. An AI created by Saleron therefore I'd say it is a magical creature. After you have beaten him he'll drop a key and you can decide to use that key to get the loot from the "Normal mode" version (453) or you use the key to enter the "Hard mode" version (461) and face him again but there he got more hp his attack are harder hitting and he gets more wipe mechanics and same thing here to get into the "Extreme Mode" variant (470) it is basically 3 times the same boss but will get harder and gets a whole new move set in the extreme version. The treasure room will be located at the starting area if you go to the left and depends on which key you have the loot will be more/better. The loot room will close instantly upon leaving it. Means if you have 2 keys you are able to enter 2 times (in the same instance without resetting the dungeon) and the vanguard will appear after destroying the chest. I know it is like the old dreadspire with this concept but to see it in an actual dungeon would be nice.

Anyway it is just a thought I had about that concept but will eventually not make it into the game, so pls no hate.

or just bring Bahaar Extreme mode where you have to dodge things again ty
