EXP EVENT (EVENT: Special Star Traces event, experience and more!)

The following adjustments have been made to the event, in order to avoid further issues with the 2.1 billion cap leading to 0 or negative EXP being gained:

• Instead of 300% EXP increase, we've reduced it to 100%
  • Outside of the Azart Hatchery, no dungeon should no lead to issues for club members, even when using 600% potions
• To compensate for the loss of 200% EXP in the event, we've added EXP Potions to the level 65+ group dungeons
  • each dungeon, on the last boss, will drop 3x 250.000.000 EXP Potions for every group member

PLEASE NOTE: If you use a 600% EXP potion in the Azart Hatchery, you WILL run into the 0-EXP issue!

Hello everyone, the rollback did not happen only because of the EXP problem, as there were also critical issues that could lead in characters being permanently locked - along with the pet fusion issue.

We are aware that the situation is difficult, but a rollback was the move that had to be done.

About the event, it will be activated again.

Hello, there are unfortunately critical issues with the event so it had to be deactivated.

We are currently investigating the situation.

there is an issue currently with the fusion of pets/partners, causing both fused pets/partners to disappear (while the gold cost is consumed) and also locks you out of the character permanently.

Please do not use this function, until the issue is fixed!

In addition, due to an unexpected error with the EXP event, it had to be deactivated, since it caused users to lose EXP / Levels through the Azart Teleportal.

Our apologies for the trouble caused, we will inform you once we have more info about the fixes.

this was a typo error, the text is now showing the correct number (22 characters) in all news, thank you for the report.

Also, the PvP and PvE seasons for Killian and Mystel will end on 21/8. A new season will start after the merge for these servers.

With the launch of patch 85 you can look forward to new content and many improvements to the game’s interface. In this preview you can find out which of TERA’s features are being improved.

More Inventory Slots

With patch 85 you can unlock an expansion for your inventory via a quest with an achievement. You can unlock up to 3 pages each with a maximum of 80 slots (10 rows).

You can unlock the new slots via a new button and expand them with items from the Tikat Shop.

Additionally, you can set the bag to automatically collect gathered and crafted items or items relating to “Fishing and Cooking”.

This means that if you set “Crafting and Gathering”, ores, plants, and similar items will be instantly stored here without you having to move them manually!

Inventory Sorting

The automatic sorting of your inventory and the bag has been reworked so that you can now decide the order in which your items are sorted.

Message for Broker Sales

If you sell one or more items through the broker, this is now shown in the character selection menu for all affected characters.

Instance Group Matching

The instances where you search for a group are now saved as a selection so you no longer have to select the dungeons each time you start a new search.

Examine Players

The option to examine other players has been added to various windows. This makes it easy to invite fellow players in the chat and group matching (Y) or to add them to your friends list.

Buy Maximum Quantity

The dialog when purchasing items from merchants has been reworked so that the “maximum” of buyable items now depends on your means (e.g. Gold).

Traveling Books

If you use a Village Atlas or Travel Journal, you can now switch between “Show teleport points” and “Show quest” on the world map view. So you no longer have to open the world map separately if you want to quickly check the location of the next step in your quest.

Collect Parcel Post

This patch allows you to collect the items from all of your messages at the same time and delete the messages simultaneously.

Transparent Damage Numbers

You can now adjust the transparency value of your damage numbers in the game options:

Highlight upon Group Matching

If you are playing TERA in window mode, the TERA icon in the Taskbar will be highlighted in future once you have found a group. This way you are always informed when you can get started.

Time Stamp on Chat Messages

The game options (Options > UI settings > Time stamp) now allow you to see when an in-game chat message was sent.

There will be an internal voting by the TERA team to decide the name of the server, which will be announced later on with the FAQ.

Greetings Heroes of Arborea,

I am threea and as you were already informed, I will be the new main Product Community Manager for TERA Europe and also responsible for the UK Community.

What does this mean?

My role is to be the connecting line between you-the community- and the internal TERA Product team, always forwarding your suggestions, thoughts, worries or any game issues that you report in our platforms (unfortunately those can happen too sometimes (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻ ) and providing information back to you about upcoming changes and updates in the game.

But enough with the serious stuff - time to share some info about me with you:

• I am a part of Gameforge for almost 4 years now and I have worked in several of our games already. At the moment I am also a PCM for SoulWorker EU/NA and CM for Metin2 and Wizard101 communities.

• Same as Melione, I am also a cat person, so feel free to spam me with cat images at all times!
• You will find me ingame exploring the world as an Elin Sorcerer at the moment.
• Except gaming, on my free time I enjoy watching series (mostly comedies) with my top favorite being F.R.I.E.N.D.S. (old but gold), but also Modern Family, BBT, GoT and many many more.
• And cooking, I also love cooking!

I would like to give a hug and a thank you to Athena for her work on TERA EU until now and wish her all the best to come in her new adventures.

I am very excited to be on board on this amazing project and will do my best to contribute towards future game improvements and the development of our community.
