    For Tera PC's anniversary last year, they focused all their efforts on a month of events for Console while PC just spammed dungeons for a month.

    Honestly, if i had a console i would go for the console over the pc anytime. They are on old patches which includes REAL dungeons, you know, with actually mechanics and more than one brain dead boss.

    They don't have stupid p2w ress on almost all content in game so i would actually enjoy play heal again.

    At this point console is the real tera in my opinion, people should enjoy while it doesnt catch up to the horrible patches we had on pc that ruined the game, with luck they wont actually implement the same patches there

    Gameforge are you really willing to destroy the only NA server you just received because your obsessed with trying to turn tera p2w?. Do you even care that your destroying the game for hard working players that spent hours months years even to get to where they are now? We didn't spend that time busting our asses to farm dungeons and mats only to have someone get everything instantly without doing anything but swiping a freaking credit card think about what your destroying about this game think very very hard tera is supposed to be about challenges one faces and the thrill of achieving that goal rather it's single or with friends it's about working hard to get what you want and feeling proud to do that what your doing is giving instant gratification to players that didn't work for it with this p2w crap your doing and it's disrespectful to the players that worked hard to get what they wanted

    Sadly that was the way they handle EU for years now, HO+3 was the exception i think, you still needed bahaar but im not 100% sure there. I knew the moment they got NA people would flip because NA was all about grinding the materials even go as far as spam low level dungeons non stop for gold talents.
    EU extra material box on the stormcry/HO time from elions marks would be acceptable on NA but the full p2w for a server used to play to get the items is pretty much killing it yeah

    There are way more problems than just the pvp, it lies on their design choices from years now.


    First they tried to make the game a matter of speed, more and more patches along the way with the creation of the apex and everything else was with the sole purpose of making the game "faster" in a way.

    The battles and classes all became a matter of how many skills per second you can use instead of the old times where you needed to have a heavily focus on survival and teamplay for mechs or mobs first before thinking of dpsing the boss itself.


    Making the game faster only helped increase the use of macros and the creations of proxy modules to basically achieve "perfect" rotation. They made dungeon mech and boss attacks more and more irrelevant along the years to the point that if you have max gear or sometimes even minimum gear for it you can just tank a lot of hits on the highest end game content. All for the sake of dpsing non stop.


    Even tough apex brings some pretty interesting changes to classes it mostly ruined the game in my opinion. Lancers can for years now just break core mechs and i don't think was their intention seeing the eventually changed AAH to stun even if mech was blocked. Warrior def stance is now a joke, for someone that played warrior tank from old ages i'm completely pissed they ruined the class i liked to a freaking brawler 24/7 growing fury clone but with way more iframes. It's just ridiculous...


    Not only that they nerfed more and more the little aspect of classes that would differentiate from a skilled player or not like lancer hold the line stacks, ninja passive buff and so on. Some classes were ruined bc the concept was either u macro/cheat or u are trash aka rip normal zork players, you will be remembered


    All classes in general, like i said have somewhat a "perfect" rotation that needs to be executed as fast as possible so people tend to normally just cheat bc it's honestly easier and more effective, their game code is trash enough that they can't find a way around to prevent it.


    There is no more a sense of analyzing the situation and adapting to it to stay alive while dpsing and doing mechs


    Healers are useless, honestly that's what i feel when i play heal. The fact that you can pay gold to ress 99 times on starting content up to all the mid content of the game is straight up bullshit. People can hit their head non stop on keyboard and clear everything besides 501 dungeons... And what for? To not lose time since time = dps? Yep, that's the mentality you create with those and the "fast fast gotta go fast" design we have now.


    They added way too much "hidden" power system to the game, it's to a point you can't know for sure if the dps difference between two people that appears to have the same gear and do almost the same rotation if derived from a cheat or just random stuff like cards, collections, mounts, pets. I get they wanted to add some kind of new system to generate more farm but it's getting pretty ridiculous, it's way too many systems that affects too much of the dps.


    Economy of both EU and NA is all over the place, has been for a while, the exploiting for items and gears was never worked out, they never managed to find a way to prevent it from happening again


    The gear progression is all over the place since the exodor first patch, we were used to +15 gear farms before they introduced the idea of 0 to +9 no reduction no break on guardian. Then all of sudden they go backwards and introduce a new gear with the old system and now? Back to guardian system i guess. Like, can you please freaking decide already? Are we getting an evolution from the gear now or are we trashing it in the future to farm a new gear all over again to +15?


    There is no merit to be a good player, sadly with the fact there are so many modules, cheats and the easy p2w choice available you see more and more people just paying for the end game gear and being either afk on hw or cheating on dungeons bc they never brother to learn the game. And yes, i'm including using dungeons guides as a cheat, if you can't run a dungeon without a system giving you notice and marking areas with flowers ffs don't even play it


    Community for the most part is closed off in groups, incredible unwelcoming to new peers and straight up toxic. Seriously the fact that cheaters or p2w want to trash talk to please their own ego is disgusting. You see it happening too much on lfg or im parties, even guild chats. Someone trash talking others all the time when either they are bad or just payed for the gear.


    Even when it's not the case, why trash talk new players in the first place? It's not like we all had to learn but people don't remember getting help. They want to get their skilled, get into close parties that clear fast and make jokes about others. You rarely see any training being hosted by experienced players for others on lfg or they having patience on im to guide. You would expect a dying game to have a community more friendly than this


    Pvp is entirely dead, takes too many people for most battlegrounds, rewards are way too terrible, is too easy to cheat on it


    And well lastly, every feedback is being ignored anyway so we will wont see any changed in the future and i believe the situation will only get more depressing over and over again. Hype for the new 1 boss meta too. You know, it's fun waitting or looking for members for more than 10min sometimes to do a less than 3min fight. Nice design! Tera will be an afk game or an online chat.


    Just give us auto battle already, the game is getting more and more mobile systems anyway, let's go full afk mobile game

    3 minutes if you are experienced and skilled, more if you're a newbie.


    Also I've been playing since the start as well so don't compare me to anyone who has not played it enough.

    Non experienced parties takes just a little more and still not enough fun time compared to time wasted to join in the first place. Actually you will mostly get non experienced parties on im which means a long time queue depending on class, 30 min or more, and a limited amount of dungeons you can find. Let's be real, nobody im for high level dungeons frequently...

    Compare? I don't see me comparing you at any point in my post, go ahead and show me. I said "as someone who played since game launch i strongly believe giving 1 boss dungeons with no mechs at all it's just annoying and a free pass to make old players quit." In other words, "in mý opinion, as a player since launch, the new dungeons are trash". Which is a common opinion in old players who are still active, you are free to be an old player and disagree.

    If you are talking about the second part of why are you playing my arguments stay, mmo are normally time consuming, the grind or items on tera is terrible and the fact u take 3min to mb what 10min in a run, where your party will most likely blame each other and be at each other throats, is not exactly what you expect of the game "fun" part.


    Don't assume im comparing you to anyone lol People these days, they don't read with enough attention, just go straight up acting as if we are attacking others or something XD

    Because who wants to spend like 3-4 even 5+ hours trying to learn the mechanics of that specific dungeon ? Not everyone has free time to do it. 2 to 4 bosses is just way too much and energy consuming as well.

    You say 2 to 4 bosses but the boss fight takes less than 3 minutes. You take more time looking for a party or queueing than actually playing the game. Several minutes to sometimes hours depending on what you want to run for a less than 3 min "fun".     If you don't have the time why are you even playing an mmo in the first place? That's kinda a time consuming type of game... You could argue the items grind of tera takes way too much time but don't blame the dungeons having more than one boss or taking longer. The game is not even fun with a 3min fight.

    Solo Cat takes too much, waste too much coin.

    Killing grounds drop 3 to 4 belts per run, i think cat had the same drop out of events, its just terrible. Game is basically unplayable out of drop events lol

    I don't know about you guys but the "The yield of Improved Dark Shard Weapon and Armor Feedstock has been increased in the following dungeons" is hype, we are getting one or two extra feedstock every run. Now that the events ended its a total fearsome amount of six or seven divided by 5 ;DDDDD

    "Tradeable chests containing enchanting materials for the new gear are now also available in the following instances" did anyone dropped this yet? I wanted to know if its a party drop but im just gonna assume its rolled bc why would they ever make something like that a party drop ;DDDDD

    the game's garbage yh, it is why it had lost like 90% of it's population if not more xd it's not even tera anymore... this game no longer resemble the old tera at all, i'd say it's some other game full of grind, rng and p2w just the name didn't changed.

    As an old player myself, i agree with him, game is shit right now but i could hope they would make even slightly fun or any improvement, only complaining we can hope to move forward

    Why even bother defend a dying game going even more downhill

    Getting to 65 with an exp boost you get on leveling event or on vanguard at lvl 20 takes less than 3 hours of playtime if you get queues on dungeons. Experienced players can get to 65 in 1 hour. Doing the questline of 65 without any quest exp boost leaves you at lvl 67 half exp. Hitting 70 is not that bad with exp potions of 300-600. Out of leveling event is a little bit annoying as you need more or less 1 week of gv spam having no tc no exp pots.

    There is more to the game than just dungeons. While yes, that is what progresses the story and gives you the best loot, one of my favorite things to do is the creation part. Gathering raw resources, smelting, fishing and such. Similar to minecraft, you dont have to go through the story to enjoy the game, however, gathering those resources can be hard when enemy npcs are on top of them and cancels your gathering when hit. For that reason, I chose the gunner because of the sentry ability. But you dont get the sentry until lvl 46 AND you cant craft until level 65.


    As for the party dungeons issue, the best solution as to make sure you are working with a good party, is join a guild that is known or specifies in dungeons. It will give you a better chance of a better team.

    You are the first person ever to tell me craft, fish and gathering are fun lmao. But it's not even close to the focus of the game and most of the time just useless sadly.

    I do agree joining a guild can help around that but for end game content is difficult to even join guilds sometimes bc they request u are skilled on those and several players can't even get training for them. It's rare in general for a guild to have players spamming end game content accepting anyone, most run mid game content with some members on it doing their own static for end game out of the guild itself

    However, in PVE servers, I dont see the issue unless we are speaking about dungeons. Even then, you can kick players out of group dungeons if need be.

    PVE is only about dungeon tho and the fact that you "can just kick" don't solve bc most of the time for high level end game dungeons people never join in progress. You can do lfg but i know for a fact there is a lot of players late on gear on every patch that plays really well but can't get parties bc they are not skilled and can't get skilled bc the im is just a big trap

    I just noticed that Elleon's Marks of Valor have new boxes that can drop improves weapon and armor feedstocks (30 marks per box) and another box that can drop Lumikan's wing and horn fragments required to upgrade kaias soul gear (100 marks per box).


    I bought a few chests and it's actually quite effective. I got 15 Lumikan's wing fragments out of 6 chests and lots of gear protectors. I got 6 improved weapon feedstock out of 8 chests (no armor feedstock, was unlucky).


    It's definitely a really good option to go for those boxes and they make the marks actually a lot more useful.

    I legit made a post at the same day they introduced that shit to the game... Are you drunk my friend? In what world that poor excuse of gaccha bullshit is anything closer to acceptable? The fact the normal rewards are useless items is already an insult, having to gaccha for the items you want on extra reward is stupid and what is worst is the PRICE. They are insanely costly considering the amount of shit they give and taking in consideration the amount of elleon marks we get on dungeons. They didn't introduced a solution, they made a stupid gaccha mechanic to trick idiots.

    It may be a bad marketing strategy, sure, but not for your reason. Your reason is because you can't skip everything without knowing what you're doing at end-game.


    Everyone else's reason for hating it is the unnecessary grind we have to do in order to get there when we can just purchase that to save time.


    It's essentially so that new players don't ruin end-game by throwing dungeons because "I don't know what I'm doing". If they had allowed that, it'd be even worse strategy.

    Hey don't worry, they are nerfing the game more and more, nerfing new dungeons just after launch, it's getting so retarded and easy that the whales won't even notice it XD
