    Hold your panties for a moment, you both seem to understand very clearly what I said but you won't accept it under any circumstance and try to slither your way around it.

    I said 'maybe a temporary server' with the intent of just pleasing the crowd with the GameForge mindset of what they might do if a lot of people actually voted on that poll and decide to take action. I know it's dumb but keep in mind I said that for a very clear reason not based on my personal opinion but seeing how the publisher solves problems interacts with the playerbase, also decision making.

    A permanent server is an absolute chore, especially a vanilla one and here's why:

    -it will have no updates regarding content or class balancing, bugfixes, because that would cut from the progression of the normal servers (devs working to fix a game version from 8 years ago), does Krafton/Bluehole or whoever codes the patches have the manpower or will to do this, the server will need a separate dedicated team for maintenance/support/updates;

    -if you want it vanilla it must be set at a certain point in time and play a patch forever (this adds further to the above), because updating the game means slowly but steadily moving it into the present patch;

    -the huge difference in the item shop/merchandising, this was done year by year and improved (on the company level this does not concern the players) to the point where it is today, monetary yields for the classic server will vary drastically;

    -splitting the already dwindling player base(this was said before), it's a hard thing to accept but people will hop on the server that will be the most convenient to play leaving the other servers in ghost town like era; See the decline of PvP servers and merges, the 180 turn to full p2w present game, if you are retired keep in mind that nowadays all the gear comes in a p2w box, all of it, dungeons are a waste of time and a menial activity. How many players do you think will opt to skip the grind, the no content game, to play on a fun server?

    -really bad communication between GF and the playerbase;

    -take a closer look at the current state of the game, a classic server won't bring your long lost glory;

    -other problems;

    Consider a lot of things before you answer on this both present and past actions and decisions of the publisher.

    ps: My personal opinion, if GF will ever make a classic server: please listen to the players and do not add content people not want, game concept should be the one before Reaper got introduced. Add content not remove it. Remove censorship, almost a decade passed, nobody cares anymore about such a trivial thing.
    Make it B2P like GW2 with fascion cash shop only, or full P2P with the possibility to buy game time with ingame money too. Attract old players or player who stopped to play advertising the game around mmo communities. do not waste this last opportunity to make Tera great again. Be smart and make a classic Tera for a mature playerbase.

    How many times do you actually want to pee against the wind until you learn that you get splashback on your panties?

    It's highly impractical to make a server like that, maybe a temporary one yes, a permanent one is out of the question because it won't be profitable and it also adds extra work(maintenance, upkeep, updates) and staff members.

    Ace Lumikan drops 1 Wing Fragment for 600 adventure coins.

    People log in 15 minutes and quit after because why would they do any content.

    Double drop, even with this I feel the general attitude will be 'Thank you very much but no, I'd rather do something else'.

    First day of the patch you can already have maxed gear, understandable for the Lumikan patch in order to give people who can afford it the cutting edge in dungeons but here we go again I guess.

    AFK in Highwatch admiring your gear.

    Make the game heavy p2w with the fishing bots being enabled again.

    Can the dungeons be removed completely from the game?

    And also can we turn all the NPC's into cash shop vendors?

    I'm not one to complain about paying for stuff but this game just turned into Vegas Casino simulator 2021, running any content is now translated into menial stuff to do for plebs 1-5 star rating.

    #OnlyLosersRunContent

    Did George W. Buschfunker president of the United Servers of Tera just pull a 269 iq move stating that the best gear in the game is for the players that can clear the hardest content? With what their wallet? I'm in that same boat everything I have on me came in a box, I can hardly say I deserve any of it.

    Sonata for now the only source for you to get the Lumikan horn (excluding clearing cathm and lumi chest) is to buy Azart Force Trophy Chest, it has 1 horn piece but that is hardly worth compared to the lumi chest.

    Valid points except one, let me add more to that in order to be comprehensive.

    I've read through all of your post and it does make a lot of sense and it is accurate and I am not defending anyone here, I would even add more to your post on the 3rd party stuff that I hate with all my guts.

    The CM regardless of who it is, seems like it has reduced impact or say on what actually gets patched/implemented and acts more like a middleman between the parent company and the players, to steer things in what she/he believes is the right direction.

    I have no way of knowing how things are done, Gameforge is not actually a transparent company with open doors, the attributions of the people hired from the lowest to the highest tier are not disclosed and they themselves if non disclosure agreements are signed cannot talk about this under any circumstance, in case of the NDA even after they ceased to work with the company in my country the law stipulates that for 5 years after terminating the contract the NDA is still valid and you are subjected to the agreed contract, so even feedback from a former CM is not possible or within reach, even just for curiosity.

    The staff may actually send a lot of feedback but the parent company may take preferential decisions on what to actually do further with the information provided, and the CM allegedly may only take decisions on shop item prices, team management, events, some basic level of infrastructure and so on.

    The CM may actually just manage the staff and the community and that is it, nothing more, that's what I can gather or understand so it's no use in replying to everyone to a problem that by design you (as CM) cannot solve.

    I worked as a foreman at a factory for a time, there sure, things are different, order and result, every time. Regardless of how many threads/complaints there are, with limited decision making you, me, everyone else playing has to take it as it is, community manager, staff, support team included, work with what you actually get sent.

    I'm curious if they could that is, but it will never happen -see above-, what would they (the staff) actually change or complain about.

    Hello, earlier this evening on Corsair Stronghold I experienced some heavy lag/delay(alone on the map, could walk through walls etc), relogging only worked for 10-15 seconds before crashing again. Now the queue is stuck at 39/40 players for ~15 minutes, every other battleground seems like it has the same problem, ShoreHold kicks players out, you cannot teleport and get a dropout.

    I agree with Nevada, look at it this way, for every other hobby you pay regardless of what it involves. I guess it all revolves around on how fortunate you are or what you tend to spend money on and how much and this reflects the gear. The problem you have with the rest of the community is the lack of content and the repetitive manor in which progression in the game occurs.

    PvE&f2p (You) - complain about the grind and material scarcity, fair point and you are right about this

    P2W&PvE - complain about the lack of content and afk-ing in hw admiring the gear because all that came in a box you paid for

    PVP - I won't touch this one

    If you don't have a life, buy it, at least you skip the grind.

    For improved feedstock try running Gossamer Vault and when you reach 471 item level start doing Ruinous Manor, ace dungeons are not the best content to farm anything.

    I think the same goes for world bosses Cerrus, Hazzard and Ortan it's quite a waste of time to go hunt them and the Hidden Crates *Gold/Silver/Bronze* (former map hunt) that drop in dungeons mainly the emeralds are almost ok to get golden plates/silver plates, titan fire,earth,storm, blightoath medallions are all useless now, especially the plates, which are not required for anything anymore.

    Elleon tokens have been reduces from what I can gather to make the refined duranium worth something, still you neeed 600 of them and you most certainly will get some really crap infusion.

    Well there is a bug with IMS not all party members arrive in the dungeon correctly, it shows them on the minimap being there but somehow we end up in a different run of the same dungeon.

    Also how do you reach level 66? There is literally no dungeon to run or mission.

    LE: got it figured out, you need to complete the Apex Quest before another storyline with the mission appears!

    So after the maintenance today, the double drop will be enabled for all dungeons until February 2nd in case you somehow missed it.

    My point is: cry again? :elin8: After salting the sea make sure you also give thanks to whom they're required and be nice.

    PS: stop quoting me on every dang post like 5 times, I would really appreciate that.
