    For real,you always act like everything is great but now the game is seriously dying and your players are obviously worried about the future of TERA, perhaps take someone important from your "tera team" and bring him/her here? like idk do something FFS

    Speaking from experience,you cant really be addict for a very long time to a game that have too much inaceptable flaws (like P2W),combat system isnt enough anymore at this point so you should definitely expect a shutdown very soon (atleast on the gameforge version)

    basically a different tera,that's very interesting but still, i don't really understand the idea of making another version of the same mmorpg instead of gathering everyone on the same place,like FFXIV and is PC/Console crossplay

    they shouldnt split the devs team tho,they should make everyone work on the exact same projet to make the game better


    i'm really getting mad of how koreans devs handle things sometime

    After playing on Mystel and Velika and comparing it with Console population... probably 3 or more times the active player base than PC has.


    Just active the Cross-Platform option, that way you will be able to play with PS players too. Otherwise Xbox player base is kinda low by itself.


    Btw, I recommend you to join their discord server https://discord.gg/teraconsole there you could get your questions answered by active players and Console staff.


    such a shame they chose to separate PC & console,yes i know console is behind in patches but still, the game need tons of players and they obviously don't give a shit about fixing it

    what they need is to restart completely the game,make a TERA 2 while removing annoying thing like rng/cards etc

    (wish i could say more but i stopped at vm9 patch)


    i cant see how they can fix the actual game without removing so many things,that's mainly why they need to reboot it


    anyway..for anyone who's looking to move on to another mmo until tera is fixed.... if money is no issue,i would personally recommend ffxiv because it is greatly superior in every way except the gameplay (<- which tbh is not that bad compared to tera when you fully get the hand of it)

    i think CMs should at the very least,let people speak themself for real


    i'm not at fan of locking threads when you don't show any effective solution or any fact that will calm down things and make everything much better VERY QUICKLY

    TERA needs to get deleted in all regions and they should work on TERA 2 or sell the IP to a big company.

    Fck MMORPG games, make it a PvP only game with the combat system we have currently in a UE 5 engine.


    I seriously expect Tera to be shutdown in 2021 or early 2022,its clear that the devs choose to stay in their buddle and only add shits,since tons of years i saw nothing added but grind grind grind


    Which is sad considering that game had the potential to be the best mmo in the world because of that combat system alone

    Tera was kinda worth playing in vm4-vm9 patchs,probably even before vm4 but i wasnt playing the game at this time so i cant tell


    i quitted the game on vm9 but honestly,a game where getting your bis have nothing to do with your skill level but only by insane grind,luck & REAL money is a no no no NO


    But i can recommand FFXIV,you're trully rewarded for what you do in endgame unlike tera ,you can play all class on ONE character and there a tons more of content overall,the only flaw compared to tera is the gameplay

    Hardcore/average players dont give a damn about newbie/casuals


    New players are basically forced to search for guild and hope to find people to run dungeon with since everyone in lfg will just kick them or not join their practice party because the current system dont give them any reason to help them and yeah most new players are obviously going to quit

    The devs just don't know how to keep new players,i remember when i first started the game... it was very painful for me to get into endgame dungeons


    Anyway no new players no money and that's basically how most compagnies who had the TERA license,closed their doors

    Another huge mistake for me is how the console version have been handled,several patchs behind + no crossplay(bruh)... one of the shittiest decisions i've seen on my whole life

    FF14 loot system is garbage. If you already cleared said dungeon you don't get any loot and on top of that you can't help other people because you reduce their loot. FF14 loot is only bearable because you get a Token/book to exchange certain raid item which counters RNG (example Raid weapon cost 8 Books aka 8 weeks to get it)


    The easiest solution would be only a kill will count as an entry. Like they did with Harrowhold. Even if people wipe 20045454 times. They don't get anything at all. They already "lose" time.

    you still can help people because a high number of them will not really care about getting 2 chests for their very 1st clear, so "kill for friend" is still a big thing there,although not every people would join for help but for actually practicing their alt-job in general


    your solution is okay but not perfect for me,because i would like players to get encouraged to help other players clear

    why can't they just make a 'new' system where players can roll on chests 2times per week on that specific dungeon for exemple, but can enter as much as they want?


    not only it would make the lfg less stressful in general but it would motivate people to make/join practice party..

    even more if they make another system like if one of you didn't clear the dungeon then everyone get additionnal rewards


    some obvious adjustements will be needed to make that happen but this is not my idea,this is just how FFXIV works basically,i'm pretty sure tera would gain a lot with something like this than a shitty entry system that favorise elitism ,like seriously can't they try to use their brain for once?


    i moved to ffxiv years ago while hopping that tera's devs will wake up for real one day but it will certainly never happen

    We will see but i prefer being confident about this game


    in the worst case ,i still have my main mmorpg(FFXIV) anyway but it would be nice to finally see a mmo who play exactly like tera and do far better in everything else like story,donjon etc...
