    The FAQ says:

If you also played TERA on Steam, you will be asked whether you want to migrate on Steam as well. Please note that account linking between the Gameforge Client and Steam will only continue to work by successfully migrating on Steam as well.

But I can't figure out how to link the client and Steam. I've installed the game through Steam, and it works, but now, if it want to start the game through the client, it wants me to install the game again. I'm assuming if I link them, the client will know the game is already installed?

I would guess that the sale price got removed at some point and the tooltip saying you could sell them for 1500 gold just never got updated. Again, it's been a long time - more than 6 months - since instance reset scrolls were usable.

While I don't think there was ever enough testing done (for lack of steady testing environments) to see if selecting one of the 4 options in a "surprise box" actually means anything and that there is any sort of "lucky chance", you essentially are just praying to RNG.

I thought someone did confirm at some point that which option you picked didn't matter because the contents of the boxes are already pre-determined. I could be wrong, but I'm sure I read something to that effect.

And OP, if you think the amount of clicking in Tera is bad, try PSO2 - 8-10 clicks just to hand in a quest.

Do you guys locked out aditional countries that EME gave access from Steam and their normal Launcher?

I'm wondering about this too. The Tera store page doesn't show up in search on Steam (but 6 DLC packs do), and if I click a link to the store page from one of the DLC, I get a "This item is currently unavailable in your region" message.

I asked the same question right after the migration became available and got the same it-can't-be-done answer.

However, I found a way to do it.

With a bit of searching, I found an old forum post with a gameforge.com link to an offline installer for an older version of the client. This installer allows you to choose the client's install location. Once installed, you need to open and close the client a couple times and it will update to the current version of the client. My client is currently on my D: drive and seems to be working fine.

It would be nice if Gameforge would provide a similar offline installer for the current version of the client.

Alternately, you could create a symbolic link between where the client wants to be installed and where you want it to be installed. This will allow it to function as if it's installed in the default location while actually being installed elsewhere. But the process is a bit complicated and requires the use of the Command Prompt/Windows PowerShell.

    Hello,

we don't recommend or support any manual client file transfers as it can lead to different issues.

    Thank you for the reply.

I don't really want to do any 'manual client file transfers' since those tend to break programs, but sometimes it's possible.

What I really want to do is to be able to choose where I install the Gameforge Client (like most programs let you do). My C drive is my OS drive and as such, doesn't have a lot of free space so I would very much like to keep it clean and install the Gameforge Client to a different drive.

Hi. I hope this is the right place to be asking about this.

To start my NA migration, I downloaded and installed the Gameforge Client. Except it didn't ask me where I wanted to install it, it just... installed. Predictably, I found it on my C drive. How do I install/move it somewhere else?
