The drop rate of fashion coupons is almost non-existantly low before level 65. I can guarantee you can't get enough to even come close to buying anything before that. After level 65 I'm not even sure where the best place is to get them now.

It's too bad you missed the last league of levelers; they gave you 1500 fc at levels 35 and 55 (total 3000) for every class you leveled.

EME's policy was to do nothing because Bluehole/Krafton knows best. We eventually got some P2W crates in our shop after months of suffering with nothing at all, but not to the extent that we're seeing now.

Events were either economy-breaking generous or so stingy they weren't worth doing, nothing in between. By the end, they were nonexistent.

At one point they almost completely emptied their cash shop to prevent in-game inflation... which only caused massive in-game inflation as the price of everything on the broker skyrocketed. Y'know, supply and demand. Even after they re-added a bunch of things to the shop, they economy never recovered.

We didn't have a community manager at all for the last several month (a year? longer?) and they abandoned their forums all together.

From March to the end of May last year they disabled adventure coins completely because server stability was so bad.

For Tera PC's anniversary last year, they focused all their efforts on a month of events for Console while PC just spammed dungeons for a month.

For all the complaints lately about how Gameforge is handling... everything, and as bad as things are right now, I just tell myself, 'things could be worse, we could still be with EME'. For all of Gameforge's shortcomings these last few patches, I'm frightened to think how EME would have handled them.

I don't think it's a bug. The map scrolls to keep you on it now which suggests to me that this was an intentional change. While I like the map scrolling and think it makes using a zoomed-in map more practical, not being able to zoom out and view whole maps definitely sucks.

I'm a little amazed (but not really) that this hasn't been fixed yet. Switch to a different channel and he should be in the right place.

If they're doing BoL, they probably can't use anything but the minor potions. Majors aren't usable until level 32, Primes until level 58, and Superiors until level 65.

The merchants in Crescentia are near the entrances, a little off the main square. The potions are under the 'combat' tab.

That being said, the bosses should be dropping healing motes (red/orange spheres) which should be a lot more effective at healing that any potions available at that point in the game. Make sure you're picking those up before you start using up your potions.

If all else fails, level up a little. 1 or 2 levels can make a huge difference early on.

1: Even playing 1 hour per day, that's still only a little over a week to go from level 1 to level 70.

2: I have to point out that these aren't required. You don't have to "regrind the same missions" over and over again. If you're doing them anyway for completionist purposes (which I've done. Three times) that's one thing, but it's not really relevant to a discussion about how tedious leveling is.

3: Since league of levelers started, I have leveled 5 characters from level 1 to level 70. I haven't had to do the Citadel of Torment once. In fact, I can count on one hand - and still have fingers left over - the number of dungeons you need to do more than once while leveling. So again, the notion that you will have to "regrind the same missions" is false.

You don't have to complete the story. Doing story quests is just the only (lv1-20) or best (lv65-70) way to level at certain points. And if all you want to do is craft and fish, you only need to get to level 68 which would shave an hour or more off of the leveling process.

As someone with an abundance of level 65 - 70 characters, I LIKE the leveling process - even as simple as it's become. In a game where everyone complains about how boring and repetitive the end-game content is, I don't understand why anyone would want to skip it since it gives you something different to do.

There is now a tutorial about battle solutions and bravery potions and how they are essential items you should always be using. You can't get off Stepstone Isle without doing it.

Also, for your first trip into (almost) every leveling dungeon, you get a parcel post with a battle solution, bravery potion, blue noct, and bulgogi with big text popping up in the middle of the screen saying the former two should always be used and the later two are highly recommended to always be used.

Using LFG is quite a bit less basic and intuitive than using consumables. I don't think LFGs are even included in the General tab's default options anymore.

people would have create new characters but didnt want to spend weeks if not months grinding through the same missions over and over and over again.

Umm... it only takes 8 or 9 hours to go from level 1 to level 70 at a casual pace right now. Yes, it would take longer without league of levelers, but certainly not weeks, let alone months.

Now on one hand, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect players to level at least one character normally before allowing them to instantly level characters.

On the other hand, you don't actually learn to play the game while leveling anymore. There are still an abundance of people who level up normally and still fall in the "I don't know what I'm doing" category. So would it really make a difference?

You should just need to set your region setting to North America.

I stole this from an other topic for the pictures

I went back and looked at my emails from EME support back in June/July. Other than suggesting there might be a corrupted file and running the repair tool (which didn't work for me, but you might still want to give it a try), there was nothing they could do about it other than forward it to the developer. I would imagine Gameforge is in the same position.

After they said they were forwarding the issue to Krafton, I never heard back from support, so I don't know if they actually tracked down the problem and found a solution, or if it just sorted itself out on it's own somehow.

The announcement was on Steam too. That would have shown up in your news feed even if you didn't access the game. You're out of excuses.

The proper legal arrangements were for EME to get permission from their users to give data to Gameforge. That is what they did. I get the impression you seem to think EME should have just sold the data to Gameforge. Hate to break it to you, but that would have resulted in the exact same situation; they would have still needed user permission to give the data to Gameforge. The GDPR is literally a law enacted to prevent companies from selling/transferring user data without the users' permission (among other things).

And if not Gameforge, then who? Who do you think was going to keep EME sites live? Who do you think was going to maintain users' data indefinitely "just in case"? Who would be paying for it? Where do you think that money would have come from? You keep saying there were plenty of options, but don't actually present any of them.

That's weird. I just tried them again before hitting the reply button. I only have one free flight skill (from before the merge) and it works with my IM39 (from before the merge) and with my Obscurium Battle Suit I got in the last week or two. My IM39 is a dyable version, so I don't know if that would make a difference. I also don't have Ancient Free Flight or Mighty Free Flight, just the basic one. I'm not sure what to suggest other than contacting support?

Your characters and data weren't lost. Your account (and it's link to your characters) is what was lost. EME couldn't legally give that information to Gameforge without consent from the players - this has nothing to do with laziness or skill. Do you honestly expect EME to stay open and maintain their user database indefinitely just in case someone might decided to come back tomorrow? Or next week? How about next year?

58 days. You had 58 days to migrate your account. EME announced they were closing in August. That's 4+ months warning. Emails were sent. There were announcements on the launcher you had to close before you could click play. You had a 35 day grace period after EME closed down their servers.

I'm sorry you lost your characters, but I'm not sure what exactly you expected GF and EME to do.
