Well, no class is decidedly good for high ping. But I'd actually say Zerker is one of the classes, where you can afford a higher ping. Apart from that Slayer might be an option for you too ![]()

Idk man, I haven't ever had problems as Archer at all doing solo BAM's. Usually one RA + RF is enough to kill off most BAM's I encounter. And no - I'm not full p2w gear at all.

I have no idea of how Archers are in PvP, but they're fair for kiting I think? Idk - I haven't ever played PvP, so won't say anything. No idea whether they're good or bad.
In PvE they're a really fair class, if you can utilize them. If you're a new player, it's definitely one of the classes I'd recommend, since they use a priority system, and a somewhat static rotation, compared to for example Warrior or Lancer, which quickly can get very complex.
Their DPS is of course not as high as awakened classes, such as Warrior, Berserker and Slayer, however they pull the probably most decent DPS from all the non-awakened classes, where probably only Gunner and Valkyrie can rival them, however I believe the Archer holds the edge slightly.
Apart from that, it's a really consistent class, meaning that their DPS won't vary too much, assuming you know what you're doing and furthermore it's a relatively safe class, since you can "skip" a lot of mechanics, as you're ranged - however, if you're seeking to get the full potential from Archers, you'll have to go close every now and then.Anyway, I'd say it's dependent on what you want to play. For PvE, I'd say Archer is definitely a good choice, espeically taking into consideration, that the awakening 2 is upcoming.

There aren't really a fixed crit cap or crit amount, that you'd want to reach for Mystics. In essence you just want to stack as much crit as possible, while focusing on other stats. It's kinda up to how you play - some prefer super aggressive, with lots of crit, some prefer lots of healing and a super supportive playstyle. Nevertheless, whatever you go for, you don't have to reach a certain crit cap, and you just have to reach as much crit as possible.

Would you care to elaborate? It's pretty hard to change something, without having insight into, what it is that needs to be changed lol

As a general thumbnail rule: Everything's that's account bound and everything's that came from various account-bound boxes, such as TC. Other than that, what @Vanli mentioned.

Ohh those one to make the mount, nvm then! You're right - those are definitely bankable!
-
It is not! You can't bank the dragonwing scales, since it'd be way too easy to collect a 1.5 dragon. No, sadly you have to farm 400 dungeons on one char, to get that juicy 1.5 - or do HH a lot

I have no idea when the 2x exp event starts, but here's the exact time frame for the leveling event:
"Starting Friday, 7th September at 4:00 PM until Monday, 10th September at 10:00 AM"
Good luck!

Any dungeon basically, tbh. But they're actually almost easier, to just buy off the broker - they're super cheap

To be fair, this game could use a lot of love, when it comes to a topic like this. For example I feel like DPS'es are smth that should just be balanced out at this point, and then they should try to add more attractive and more interactive healers and tanks in this game. There are only two healers, and in essence only two tanks, that you would wanna run with, and thus I feel like, if you want to play tank or healer, this game could use a few more options. Though, your idea seems really nice - keep them coming!

Well, tbh, back when I started this game in RKE release, I msut admit that I had a really hard time getting parties for it, and generally dungeons. Granted, I was a super bad player back then, which definitely explains a lot of, why people did not take me, however that does not change the fact, that there is a lot of elitism in this game. Being a part of that elitism myself now, since I seek to clear dungeon ASAP, I can only agree to this statement.
It's not that I consequently deny everyone, and never run with people below 4 m/s. Hell, even I know I'm not perfect, and won't perform that well in every single run, but taking new players or new inexperienced people in runs, is simply just a drag for me most of the time, and thus I simple choose not to run with them. So saying, that this mentality doesn't exist, and that you can just always have a cheerful attitude, and then you can get into any party you want to, is a lie. That's just not how things work in this game, it's a bit sad, but it's true. You have to reach a certain point, before you can just join anything and everything. -
It's definitely entertaining, 'cause it's super challenging! Especially for a new player like me, who has never ever seen any of the bosses, so this is entirely new content to me xD

tbh the first step always starts with yourself though.I use IM a lot and the first step is always a hello
if you don't greet someone and expect them to do the first step it's mostly not gonna happen.
Most of the time you don't get anything back, but sometimes you find nice people and have a good time with them.the other thing is, that telling people that you're new, some will gladly help you
it's bad to keep quiet if you dunno what you're doing, and you didn't tell anyone you're first timer, or you ask for advice
last week i just had an SC party with a new gunner, he said he's new, which was good. I told them to take all lasers on the second boss, no one said anything, and except for me, half the time no one took it. I understand that the new guy might not have known what's going on, but the other 4 might have...
dmg was really low, wiped at 6% and the newbie left, even though no blame was thrown around.
i noticed how new players give up quite easily, i mean if you don't understand just ask again, it won't hurtalso most of them are in guilds, but apparently they're too shy to ask or sth
i mean you are in a guild to get help at the start and i'm quite sure there are guilds who gladly teach newbies.Obviously there are rude more experienced players, or some that just dun wanna waste time because they don't have it
There are also newbies when someone tries to help them, they immediately get offended, say they don't care and they don't have a skill like that, and that if you just know everything better, why aren't you playing healer... stuff like that happens too
so obviously not everyone feels like helping after sth like thateverything has two sites, so can't blame everything just on one
just my two cents
Thanks actually. Yes, you're absolutely right, a lot of things start with yourself, and how you're interacting with other people. That is definitely true.
Meanwhile, you also mention some players, aren't exactly nice to those people, and that's probably what I was working from: Tera's community isn't in general super nice, and have a tendency to be very harsh against new players, which is why I suggested finding some friends, before he started playing the game. I for one, still remember how it was, when I started totally green at RKE release, and that it was super super hard, to get into the community, and that's what I wrote my statement out from.
But yes, you're absolutely right - you can get a long way with a nice attitude! -
Also another piece of advice: Even though the dungeon times, might be dreadful at times, you should probably go for the IM anyway. My advice would be to do story quests, while you're in queue, or if you arne't up for that, you can just movies or something else.
The key to finding parties in that level, is also to know when people are queue'ing, and in my experience, you get most out of IM around 15 - 18 and again at 20 - 23. Remember: being a party, yields a huge amount of bonus XP, (400%), so in most cases, it's worth it to wait.
Good luck on your leveling up! -
Definitely, I agree on that statement. What you can do, is maybe convince some irl friends, to play with you. Or you can hope to find someone, who's willing to take you ingame - nevertheless, it was just a statement, that you really need someone to play with, else Tera quickly gets boring.

It's hard to get a picture of, when you were not there yourself xD So all I can say is:
- The wipe mechanic only kill those, who already have debuff, and give a stack of the debuff to everyone else
- The debuff lasts for 2 min., so regardless of rotation, you will lose the debuff by then - moreover, this rotation and when you will get your next debuff, is LARGLY dependent on the DPS of the partyI hope that explains, what might've happened. My guess is, that the fight was either really long, or that the rotation simply proceeded as usual, or someone might've messed up on the debuffs, thus leading to someone dying before someone else, even though it wasn't intended.

I am not an expert, but here's what I would use, if I were to play PvP.
For armor I'd probably pick the following:
Armor: Top roll: Vortex Slash cooldown, bottom rolls: Decreases damage taken, flat, decreases damage when knocked down, recoverage of hp every 5 second and increased hp
No picture here, 'cause I didn't want to spend 15k gold on this swblobGood luck!

What I believe happened, is that you didn't have debuff.
The wipe mechanic is simple a mechanic, that gives everyone the debuff, instead of only one person, meaning that if you do not have the debuff, you won't die from the wipe mechanic, but you'll simply get a stack of the debuff, and seeing as he will activate the mechanic again, should someone die, it's higly probable that the whole party is going to wipe after the wipe mechanic, seeing as at least 1 person is assured to die, and then it causes panic, unless you're a coordinated party.I don't believe any iframes, blocks or the likes, can hinder the debuff mechanic.

There is no real guide yet. As mentioned, the dungeon is really hard, and only a handful of players are able to clear it. I see myself as a fair PvE-player, but I only reached floor 6 myself, (however that is due to the fact, that I haven't been running as well lately), and thus that's why not a lot of people are able to make a guide. Similarly it's a lot of work, so I simply believe no one put in the effort, to make it yet, seeing as the content gets changed every year.
What you can do, though, is watch youtube videoes and try and distinguish attacks and such. That can help you a lot, and I can recommend watching this channel:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCukleJ9Pljg3BeepnjHZwOgIt might not be the exact same as a guide, but it's definitely a way, that you can look into certain attack patterns, mechanics and so on.
Good luck!
