Inutile de prendre des exemples hors contexte juste pour essayer de justifier une certaine fainéantise. Mais bon après vu que vous êtes tous de Seren je suppose que le client Français a plus de valeur, m'enfin bon.

There was also much more variety in terms of races being played imo. When i Watch old TERA videos it's not rare to see Barakas, Amans, Popos, Humans, and more Elves than now. Nowadays it's full of Elins and i think Castanic is probably the second most played race, thanks to Valkyrie and Gunner. People would make Amans and Barakas lancers, Warriors, slayers, zerks because it was definitely looking more badass than a stupid elin wielding a huge lance or axe.

Sinon y a un truc tout simple... Vous mettez vos clients en Anglais et vous bossez un peu votre Anglais et le tour est joué. C'est pas comme si c'était une langue compliquée à apprendre.
-
It all depends of the player's mindset.
"Do i want to buy a costume so i look good for myself? Since i'll be the person staring the most at my character."
or
"Do i want to buy a costume so all the players around me can see how fancy i look and do a little bit of show off?"
And God knows how many are picking the second choice.

It's useless to wait for it, never gonna happen. "We" have been waiting for months now, time to stop lying to ourselves. I prefer to think that it's never gonna happen and MAYBE i will get surprised one day, that i hope during months for nothing.
-
They will never give a statement about it, because it's too late now. If it's "allowed", all the legit players will leave or create a shitstorm. And if it's not allowed, all the wannabe MLG Moongurd mongols will also create a shitstorm.

@White Glad to see your biggest concern about this whole thread is my presence on the forum, i won't justify myself (again) about why i'm typing here. Just do some research on the forum and you will find your answer, since you seem to care so much about it.
And don't worry about the so called "skills", i accomplished enough on this game when it was still relevant to be happy with myself regarding that.
You talking about these two points, that are definitely not related to the main issue this thread is exposing just says enough about your brain power. Please don't quote what i'm typing if it's to embarass yourself, just a friendly advice.

"PvP is dead so nobody cares"
Yeah, i wonder why less and less people are doing PvP ever since this whole Proxy BS started. Hmmmmmm... :hyperthinking:
"For example i wish to have a Webinterface for broker, so i could trade from everywhere and not just ingame"
THIS. This is exactly the reason why i keep saying that people are so addicted with TERA, they're ready to use anything for it.
As for "Why are they not fixing it? Making it bannable?" it's easy. Let's say they fix it, people start to get banned and so on... We're not only gonna have the usual 4, 5 clowns defending the proxy typing here. But probably DOZENS of all these clowns who are gonna get out from their cave "Muh gaming experience!" "I'm forced to play with 45 Ms instead of 25 REEEEEEEE" "I'm now bad at PvE again and can't show off on Moongurd :(" etc... And probably even more sending tickets to GameForge support! Imagine if GameForge staff would ACTUALLY need to do their job by answering all these tickets, instead of playing League all day. Imagine asking people to do their god damn JOB, what an heresy.
It's too late to start banning people for that, and GameForge is well aware of that and probably BhS too. Only thing GameForge / BHS did these past months was to "solve" that issue in the chat via Megaphones, so i think they probably used all their efforts for that and still gave each other some handshakes "Good job guys! We're really an awesome company."
Anyways. If you're still a clean player, one who isn't using proxy at all, the best solution is just to give up on playing TERA actively. Just be one of those guys who are logging daily to keep VG buff tier 3 up, or do some BAM quests and eventually spend a bit more time on it during the week-end, like for CU or whatever and that's it. It's not like PvE in this game is any good or challenging, it's not like BGs are any interesting (due to the awesome issues the MatchMaking provides), it's not like the open world PvP scene is alive... Aaaaaand most importantly it's not like there is good players left on the game, to actually provide you help if needed, or show you how to play the game in a legit way. Most of the players either being new players who are lost and will eventually quit soon enough, or "veterans" jerking off each other via their so called Moongurd runs or BG ranks.
-
Yeah, imagine people actually quitting the game because they're forced to play it the way it's meant to be. Smh.
-
As soon as Valkyrie gets nerfed to the ground i predict that certain people from a certain guild will reroll to their new "main", which is still unknown to this day.
-
You don't need to use the word proud, but saying on a public thread that you're using it since that long just shows 2 things.
1 : You're stupid enough to actually use it and brag about it.
2 : It became so normal amongst the community to use Proxy and not getting punished for it that you can actually say it in public without getting any punishement. Meanwhile there is a chance that i get a "warning" because i called you "stupid" just above.
Really shows how even members of the staff are using shady stuff themselves, but as modi said, can't give names otherwise ya know...
What i'm saying right now kinda joins my comment on the top, about us (normal human beings) having to accept any kind of wicked shit in the name of "progress". Funny to see that even asking people to play a flipping ONLINE VIDEO GAME in all fairness is too much asking. As someone else mentionned, you gotta be hella dumb to download Something from an unknown source like that, even heard Proxy tells you to disable your antivirus or some kind of stuff like that, not 100% sure about that info but it wouldn't be surprising.
-
I mean it's 2018 after all, we have fat acceptance, anorexia acceptance, genderfluid acceptance, "muh feelings are worth more than your facts" type of shit. So might aswell let the hackers do what they want since apparently TERA is so necessary in their lives that they actually need to use 3rd party BS and exploit the most stupid stuff to get some online glory.
It's not like GameForge will do anything against it, especially if you throw some cash at them so they can cover you.
-
Oh yeah, probably. But i saw many people getting confused between in game developer and publisher.
Never really had this problem myself, nor heard someone who had it.
I would tell you to contact support, but... yeah. -
GameForge is the publisher, not the dev.
But they are indeed monkeys.
-
I don't know why people keep saying there is a "lot of people" playing. Absolutely wrong.
Game's population is probably lower than ever, event server or no. PvP is dead because there is barely any proper PK, GvG scene is dead and CU is slowly getting boring, PvE content is repetitive and boring.
Classes are unbalanced and they can't seem to find a proper balance. It's too late anyways since there is 13 classes now.We even got hackers and people using exploits now, so not only the p2w people might ruin your gaming experience by outclassing you in every possible way just because they threw their credit card out the window, but also some people who downloaded some hacks, because "hey let me hack on a dead game, since why not?"
People are kinda lying to you, but i see what they're trying to do. At this point getting 1 player back to the game would almost be a small victory, but they forget that for 1 guy like you coming back to the game there is going to be 1, if not 2, player leaving the game.
My best answer would be that : don't really waste your time, this game is dead, GameForge doesn't deserve to have people on their server and also money in their pocket, the community deserves to stay on dead servers. And if you have another game to play, just go for it. There is still some MMO's out there that are somewhat worth playing, of course if you're willing to sacrifice "Muh combat system", TERA is the proof that a good combat system doesn't make everything.
-
Archer easiest, topkek.
-
All 3 of them got CC, more or less. You just need to find out which class you would prefer the most, that's how you pick the right class.
-
Hi, in few words.
1) Killian still highest population to this day, there is guilds for both PvP and PvE but PvE definitely got the "upper hand" in terms of population. There is LFG's for various kind of content on a daily basis, it can be a bit hard to find a party sometimes because people got more elitists and sometimes some classes are missing for LFG's (often missing tanks for the bit of LFGs i did recently.)
2) Can't say much about sorcer since i didn't play it much, but i personally prefered it before revamp, for both PvE and PvP.
3) Basically the new event leveling server is all the same, just much faster (be ready to roll your face on your keyboard) and more "rewarding" apparently. Can't say much too. Just spam dungeons as soon as you can and you're good to go.
4) Old gearing / enchantment system disapeared, we went from +15 back to +9. It is definitely grindy, unless you're just gonna use your credit card, and you're probably gonna spend a lot of time crafting stuff. I don't really dislike it or like it more, compared to the old system even if it's still a bit BS sometimes, but that's RNG for you.
5) Someone with more experience will be able to answer that.
However, even after trying to answer your questions the best i could, if i can give you an advice and an honest opinion : if you got another game to play just go for it. TERA really isn't worth it and is mostly crowded by people who are still logging by habit, playing by habit (either because they got nothing else to play, refuse to leave the game, or because they don't wanna give up on their so called glory OR because they wanna make the money they spent on this game "worth it"), and a lot of new people / returning players who end up being disapointed after a couple of weeks.
