exactly as ellira said, make an account and you can use it for normal and classic.
The difference will be the client only.
Here you can download the normal one. Basically you can just start playing the normal Tera without have to play the classic before.

Make ure you check on the Events. As far as i noticed, there have been always shape changer on every Event (almost). The last event was the with the "Dragon" 2 weeks ago.

Since this classic server only for 6 to 8 weeks, you have to download the lastest "not-classic"- client.As gyusza said, check that link about the classic server. You must reach lvl 60 to be able to transfered.

There are more solo contents even for Max lvl, but according to my experience they are not that useful for a long term. So I would go as Omega said to pick you most fav class.

im not main Priest but i always roll Cooldown reduction, Crit factor, Speed, Endurance and HP als the last.

What level are you? If you are not max lvl yet, just follow stories or do dungs, that will drops gears. You can only wear gear that suit to your class. Once you are lvl 65 you will get Twisthard gear, which you can upgrade as your main Gear.
As for Pvp wait until todays Maintenance, we are getting new Pvp-Gears, which you can get by doing Battlegrounds. https://en.tera.gameforge.com/…view-battle-for-the-coast

First i though it was me that sometimes missed scythe, but then i noticed after this Maintenance my game also not that fluent as ussually.
I will try to discuss this with the team and get some answer to this issue.
The best way to improve for me is trough dungeons and get as many xp as u can.
Upgrade your Jewelry will get you to 439.

Try to contact support like Roukanken explained.
From my experience leveling during the event will help you to get instance match (dungeons) faster. But if you want to do all the story and achievements in game, you should just do it now.

While I appriciate the enthusiasm Momo, your answer doe not help my inqueries into the EU class spread nor population. The most fun I can have is actually getting into dungeons instead of sitting idle in a queue. I see that you are a mod on these forums, please answer questions appropriately.

If you ask my opinion, the most needed class atm is Tank. Lancer/Tank, Brawler or warrior-tank will do.
Those classes need less time to enter Dungeons.
This is my favorite theme about picking class 
with the the new awakening all classes are fun to play with, so make sure to main the class you really love.
