    How do exactly plan to fix it without switching to 64 bit ? I mean, Tera runs as a 32 bit program, how they gonna fix something that exceeds how much a 32 integer can handle?

    same way you did back in the 16 bit programming days


    you split it into 2 values


    this llows you the same range as a 64 bit integer, but it takes twice as long to call it


    other way of getting aronud htis would include:


    Splitting the exp of problematic mobs inot multiple instances



    shifting to uints so your range increases ot 2^32(4.2 billion)



    and mind you they have had ot done this before, since this was also a issue with boss HP, and they fixed it.

    Tera has a few known memory leaks + is a 32 bit application so its restricted on how muchram it cn take

    Must have been because of the TC GF offered when a char reaches 65, because last double XP event I did the same dungeons with the same potion with the same character and was getting about 5 billion XP a run with no issues...

    if you have TC, youll earn double exp permantely from all sources, using the potion on top of it might have put you over the cap

    makes no sense for them to go in that direction


    Blizzard did it as a response for the players that werent happy with the directino retail woW was taking and they have the palyerbase to justify the split.


    When Gameforge tried htis they immediately hit a snag, they playerbase is nowhere near as huge resuling in a further split that made the live servers ghost towns for most of its duration


    plus they pushed the " wrong" patch for it setting the server as Vm3 but not actually delivering the right content on it instead donig a odd mix that didnt match the challenge rating+ it made ppl rememebers why some mechanics were changed(mostly aggro and buffing).

    most relevant content in that patch was raid based, but there werent enough player to consistently fill raids

    its the bug they havent fixed apparently


    if a single kill gives you over 2.1 billion exp, whatever exceeds it overflows(because BHS cant be arsed ot properly code their integers) giving you a negative value instead.


    the upcomnig pathc is supposed ot fix this but until then you need ot be wary whne using those pots on some content

    still an issue with no updates in sight.


    this upcomnig patch is about to hit too which will exarcebate the problem.

    you gotta ask yourself why these exist ot begin with:


    the main issue is TERA's Netcode not implementing any sort of Lag compensation system since it was designed around a setting where its players have basically no latency(the korean market), this is what the legit modules attempt ot adress(but arent perfect at since donig so would require some more hands on access to the engine and how it communicates with the server, this is an issue for next point)


    TERA's Netcode is insanely insecure,espeially the server side, often taking what the client says as Fact, we saw the results of this design a while ago when it was possible to send HTML code thru the chat system that enabled remote code execution(essentialy a worm, and its actualy relatively simple ot send a bad command to the server that could potentially cause a crash).

    this behaviour is what allows the current exploits ot take place by sending request the server doesnt bother ot chekc if they are valid.

    the only openly tolerated 3rd party application is the Meter, and evne that has some asterisks on it(mostly for not being an asshat with other players over it)


    everythnig else proxy related so far if it was proven benign it might have at some point been included in the game(as referenced)


    as for the rest, yes, its bs and i surely get your furstration TruthSedge since gunner happens to be a class that's heavily gated by fps and ping(nott the only one but its one of the worse ones), making just feel awful when in some instances your effectively competing against robots and potentially get denied off parties over it.


    but just look at their recent "partner program" and the ppl that got pushed into it, to understand the CMs in EU tera have an active interest in some of the dumber exploits(liek ffs some of them actively develop the truly exploity stuff)

    my take on this would be:


    just make the vanilla 2.0 wyverns(armored and red dragons) available from the dragonscale shop, at a much inflated cost(minimum 2k scales i'd say), keep the other kinds of 2.0's shop/event exclusive if you need to, all ppl want is a even playing field for access to that passive and it gives somethnig for players ot work towards boosting their playtime in the long run in their pursuit of BiS.




    if this is not an option just allow us to buy the mount straight up from the shop(price up for debate), no gamblnig involved, while this isnt ideal since it wouldnt fix the inherent issue(these things still being pretty much a p2w item), but it would impose a cap on how expensive these mounts can actually be thru trading since they would be bound by the TT :gold ratio, there is only so much you can push a price until ppl just go " okay f it ill just buy it off the shop"



    on the other Hand;


    DO NOT MAKE ANY FUTURE INGAME SOURCE ONLY TEMPORARY(stuff like Ds or event instances), this will f up their prices even further and create a very toxic secondary market.


    NO SOLO EVENTS: this will be too much for mostp layers since you'd make these events mandatory

    I can enjoy the 2.0 gambling... its expensive, but you can work with it... The Partners are just stupid... Even with spending hundreds of euros, you wont be able to have a really good partner

    no its not workable same reason the pets are stupid you arguably end up spending way more if you gamble in this mess


    2.0 is required at some point for every pve player if they want ot hit BiS, and its gonna be especially important after this new gear patch hits since overall crit power is gonna be lower, these activations will matter a lot more.


    other regions have more stable sources for them evne if they are shop exclusive, by just being flat out able ot buy the mount hard capping how expensive it can be(basically linking their maxp ossible price ot the current ratio).


    what Eu has right now for these is a utter joke and the ppl buying into the gamlbing are not helping change this.people arent asknig for much, just a means of earning the basic 2.0 from an ingame source(a PERMANENT SOURCE), you can keep the other special mounts shop/event exclusive for all they care ppl will buy inot those regardless.We just need a stable supply ot limit how expensive these mounts can be.


    ifyou or anyone says they are okay with the gambling in this, either you already have the mount, or your one of the people profiting from the uncontrolled prices in the very few mounts/RNg boxes in the broker.

    these things are reaching prices ranging from 4 to 7 million(as of 30/9/2019) and its very likely it will keep going up without a proper ingame source limitng prices.

    but what maks this one amazingly fun is the OP, and some of the previous posts/actions making it very obvious what GF cares about(or at the very list the bias the CMs have).

    the only thing needed to fix Aged Tear supply is a Vg event that last more thna a couple of days


    tho having it for too long will cause the prices for those items ot tank, which isnt ideal either since ppl can also make decent gold from their Vg using them.

    Gunner has the following stacking talents : force/extra force for burst fire. Is it intended for some crowd control spells to fully reset any number of stacks to 0?

    I tested this today in Gossamer Vault, I had 20 seconds left on 24 stacks and I intentionally let the Helgrammite hit me with the inner/outer circle, I did not test on inner circle, but outer circle fully resets stacks on succesful hit.

    Stacks only reset on this boss at the inner/outer circle, regular pushback when hit does not reset the stacks (glowing tail for example), this happens in multiple dungeons some boss skills fully reset the stacks if the mechanic is not avoided.

    Is this intended to be this way? The way I see it for the entire duration of the stacks I should not lose them regardless of what happens (death being the only exception).

    anything that knocks you down or somehow displaces you will cause force to immediately fade, this applies on any attack that causes you be pushed around.(FYI this is why DRCH 1st boss was a utter pain for gunner)


    its a stupid mechanic(archer and sorc dont have ot deal with this crap on their talents) but that's just how it is, it encourages you thru punishement ot not get hit by those kind of attacks.


    on the specific attack you mentioned the inner circles pushes you out(removing force) while the outer circles hurts, since getting hit causes you ot take both and die it doesnt matter.

    dont beleive theyll do it again since there's no point anymore


    gettig ot 65 is quite fast now and the quest line your mandated afterward puts you at fm+0 which was better than you'd get off LoL.

    for straight up pve there really only one option


    force: 20% more damage on burstfire for a Wp cost increase


    the endurance shred one is most useful for soloing, since the shred does not stack with the healer's making it pointless in party play with proper healers


    the damage reduction one is kinda niche but its pvp focused if anything(maybe there is oe situation where 30% damage reduction matters but its not common enough to warrant using this over a flat damage increase)

    that questlnie relies on you having certain item levels

    i htink that's the 2nd ot last quest? before its done, i beleive it requires Ace lilith now when your prompted for it
