Sodenia the change wasnt about lag, its to curb runaway gold inflation that was causing TT to reach values as dumb as 1:2000+ since the current worldwide situation not only boosted player count but also massively boosted bot counts.

why should they?
for all we know none of those guild would have participated... if they were ot do suc ha thing then EVERY GUILD in the server would be eligible for compensation.

welp this is about the better change we could hope for, tho i am not familiar with those ticket stubs and what can be acquired off them.
as for gold...yeah..but that comes down to just how many gold sinks we get in the near future, if anythnig i feel bad for the legit fishers that spent a lot of getting the maxed out rods

i'm all for buffing loot for CSHM ot make it enticing to run, but im against allowing tradable materials to drop from it.
im purely against encouraging run selling and the secondary market it generates.

This week enchanting event was up... Over 120M gold for CU and Score wasn't able to join to have their chance to get a part of those money, are ppl gonna receive a compensation for what happened?
Because clearly this is something damaging ppl in-game and it's GF/BH fault for not checking this shit system and Inflamed got a free victory with the biggest money pool ever basically while the other guilds weren't even able to contest it or have a chance to actually get a part of those money.
Like i said, at least give ppl a compensation for ur failures and apologize.not ot be rude or anything but why specifically mention one guild when all guilds are in theory affected by this bug. it just comes out as a bit conceited.
Yes its an annoying bug, but the current iteration of CU is a bug just by existing, when its so massively exploitable.

this is a reasonable request that would also work as QoL for many classes that suffer from being gated by input, this is not automation in the same sense of botting is, its changing the relevant skills to assume certain inputs instead of requiring extra button presses: its not automation, it streamlines those skills ot actually feel as fast as the rest of combat system.

So what is your - gameforge - comment to this situation. Weeks gone since this issue was told the first time. Now we have thousands of fishbotters, map spots are camped from bots, the economy of the game is totally destroyed and the proxy problematic increases day by day and not a single cheater or bot was banned. So please, tell us whats going on here.
the econoy part is on the mand BHS for making events like we had with thsoe insane buff foods for 4 whole days, in a game where you dont have any good enough ways ot flush gold out of the economy.
for a game that has been taking so many notes from other mmo's like BDO/FFXIV, they skipped stuff that would actually benefit them and decided ot add the crap that generates gold without any checks and balances to control inflation.

They won't ban fish bots as they are required to flood the economy with gold and make farming waste of time so people that don't have much time already are inclined to sell TT so more profit for gameforge.
Just check your global and see how much TT is going on these days.
Sadly this is likely the case, since im yet to see a neffective means GF coudl enforce detectino on these bots.

if cant disable just lower to 0 the sell cost of them and of the fillets, fishing should be something just related to crafting afterall
if they do this i woudl expect a major revamp of the turn-in system so that the ppl that bought into upgrading their rods/whiskers dont get shafted. the way i would suggest would be just making the fishnig system self contained: make it so anythnig you get out of it has no market value but it is useful for the player itself(ie: fishing out untradable materials like feedstocks,that woudl be impossible ot combine into improveds without a matchnig scroll, said scrolls and possible small amounts of repair mats.
couple that with a revised turn in system: ie: you cna endlessly turn in fishes to the mongers but their value progressively goes down as you do so:Daily soft cap basically.

Just get rid of fishing altogether. It's bad enough already how TT is skyrocketing to 1500 then in few days 1750 from excessive gold into the economy. Soon I see no point in farming gold regular way anymore, instead just swiping my credit card. These fishb0tters are even selling gold for very cheap half price on discord and these people that buy them don't even get banned.
the game is seriously lacking in exit points for a lot of items to be flushed out of the economy
enchanting by itself is not good enough, since you have the option ot swipe for it
the only good solution for fishing would be revising its drop tables so it can get better stuff out of it but said items have no market value directly
ie: having dro pstuff like repair mats/feedstocks but as a whole reduce the value of the fishes outside of being used for crafting
if you really want ot keep fishes as a soruce of gold than make them only sellable ot the monger, but enchance it so there a broader limit for the legit fishers.

fishing itself is easy ot fix, if there is an exit point for all the items it generates or you make it require participation in active content

instances in general after a certain hour(Mystel)
especially bad in instances like forbiden arena or bahaar's Sanctum since the boss outright stops for a moment and then catch up with their attacks, often leading to undeserved deaths, but pretty much any instance play becomes impossible

I don't think it's a bug or system problem that causes the lag.
After the first issue with ping a few days ago, things are now fine on that regard (been back to the regular 30-50 ping for the past couple days), but the servers still keep lagging.
The fact that yesterday many people had to wait in queue to enter the servers is probably an indicator of the fact that the problem we're facing is that due to quarantine many new players entered the game, and many old players came back; that caused the servers to get overcrowded (I'm guessing since the playerbase has been decreasing dramatically in the last few years, they downgraded the servers, since they didn't need servers with high capacity, which cost more) , which then causes the general lags, so the situation will remain like this unless they upgrade to servers with higher capacity or the quarantine ends so players drop due to people going back to work/school.
Of course I'm no expert on how servers work, so these are just my thoughts on this matter; take them as such.
if this is the case or not its irrelevant, if this was the case they should have had the foresight to see this coming since was certainly not a suprise.

I feel like the issue is more complex then this. Probably the server provider is being congested and from user end point to the server can't handle the load from everyone being home right now. The last maintenance fixed the lag for me but there's many players still lagging and my friends I do runs everyday with can't play anymore from the huge ping spikes.
edit. lagging now as well. Unplayable eventhough I have 18ms ping but my skills don't work for 2-3 seconds or I teleport out of bounds without pr0xy.
regardless this problem has been occuring for the whole past 2 weeks.
starting as just some Ui lags and ending on what's happening now.
while i cna get that due the current situation traffic might be a bit moe overwhelming, this is something i feel GF should have foreseen and made sure their infrastructure matched.(and it doesnt, since from what i understand the actual server hardware is quite laughable)
