here's the thing tho tobtheking2 : i didnt post a specific run: i posted a ranking listing of a certain instance(this case CSN) , specifically to avoid that accusation and try to stick to forum rules.
everyone that came after me decided ot post specific runs, i'm not looking ot flame ppl nor was i asking how to spot these runs, its not hard to figure out which ones were due to the food event and the actual cheated ones. but sure, whatever feel free to accuse me of flaming(and im trynig to avoid stupid witchhunts) but if other ppl here are making my case for me that these runs STILL happen ofc ill piggy back off it.
the thread came about in the knowledge that this sort of cheating is still a thing and wanting to know what is BHS and GF doing about this. Everything else pp lare posting here is either irrelevant or an attempt to derail to go after specific ppl instead/ dismiss it and get the post locked.

this sort of thing is still very much a thing and yet as far as one can tell nothnig is being done. This is not exclusive to ninjas but they are the most notable example(as far as i understand this happens mostly with ninjas and reapers).
so i wanna hear, what is actually being done about this sort of thing?

I actually wrote a ticket regarding this last week and got told there are no plans yet about removing special consumables from leaderboards. my feedback got forwarded and i could have open a forum post to discuss about this with the community managers.
why would they be encouraged ot remove them from the leaderboard when the shop still has the war cry chest?

Dude, no offense, but like i said in my first posts in this threads.... I don`t like seal, i wish this and other stuff like icewhisper will be removed from ranked. But it is here right now, i have it., so i use it. Btw, i got these seals from a time, where i was in Clan der Schattenwölfe... Do you really think i cashed there intentionally, to use them for ranked? xD
And still. I didn`t see any threads about icewhisper in the past. I only saw it, at the point poeple used it against your party, and got your #1 stolen :^)
i like this sort of statement:

whatever is front of that but is often worthless because its the exact opposite of X, and the statement as a whole just show that the person doesnt actually think that they say they do.(ie: i'm not Racist but...)

just saying that 64 bit client still wont fix the issue of the game not having any form of ping compensation.
the proxy and SP won't go away until that fact changes.

Bru, my first static was in MCHM and today noone would even try this dungeon for months, like the community in the past. Strange, it all worked without proxy. The difference between the past and today is, that the current generation is to lazy and cant deal with real competitions, thats why they use dungeon modules.

that's mistake #1: your trying to compete in a setting where its not being encouraged in a positive manner. Good Effing luck trying to one up ppl using all of the private stuff and p2w consumables.

Nice, and it is like in jail. Ask someone if he is guilty, ofc, he is unguilty. Ask a player if he is using proxy, ofc not. If proxy is not that bad, why everyone decline to use proxy. I stopped reading when you told about dungeon module is not a cheat. No for sure it is no cheat when you dont need to learn a dungeon, cause the module tell you what to do. Lol
Just cause u guys to lazy to learn a dungeon it is not okay to use a Tool for it.... Man the poor EU community have to learn dungeons.... Man what will the korean guys say to it, since the cant even watch youtube videos at release date and all the europe nerds are even days before release in a perfect knowledge about the new dungeons. And just cause they suc and they are too lazy to learn, they cheat with modules. Embarassing.
at this point ppl will not even bother hiding the fact they use sp, what's the point even? Everyone that plays the game for a while understands that using SP is almost a necessity to having a playable experience if you dont live in the server building. You shouldnt attack the product ,attack the reason it exists(lack of ping compensation system)
as for guide modules,meh i find them a bit lazy, but i understand why they exist, same reasoning Tsumuro called, im not inclined to call them a cheat either, just a byproduct of a lack of information vs pepole having a life. Still better to actually know the mechanics, but its a decent way ot bridge the gap while you learn them if you dont wanna have ot waste a lot of hours studiying videos that might not exist.

A ban of all proxy users? Ofc i want to repeat this. Proxy is nothing different then cheating. I rather dont play a dead game, then a game with cheaters.
instead of blindly attacking the proxy users, attack the reason why so much of the community considers it essential.
what ppl often btch bout is SP, which was only ever a thing because BHS never bothered to implement any form of ping compensation in their game(and since the system by which SP works is not perfect it leads to inconsistencies at times)
if you implement a proper means of controlling framerate + a semidecent ping compesation system i cna confidently say, most of the current users would not bother anmyore and you would be left with the actual ppl that use to get an edge. if you were ot do this it would also become hilariously obvious who is using those stupid scripts or not.

feeluck the way to reopen fishing ot players would be a rework of how the fishing minigame works so that it cannot be automated(ie: forcing the minigame ot be played server side so an attept to automate it triggers a warning flag).
what they did at the moment is about the best choice they had given the available tools, yes it sucks a bit for the legit fishers no longer having an exit point(which could be fixed if they made food crafting worth it again) but the upside they got was more critical, since inflation was effectively running away from them.

honestly i would go the other direction instead: remove all of those food from the shop for a bit to flush out the goods generated by fishing and the recent changes to it.
it would make food crafting actually worth something and act as an extra gold sink ot help fix the massive inflation problem we have been having due to botting. I understand this would NOT be popular but i feel it would be good for the longterm.

As long as you cannot stop abuse of the Cu rules to farm points , CU as a whole is quite pointless unless you are in one of the leading guilds there as you said, for the gold.
I mean, the other thread where ppl were complaining bout the issues that prevented them from entering, was made by ppl that assumed they woudl get the gold, and felt entitled to receive it...what else is there ot say about the quality of the event.
