This kind of variable playstyle doesn't work in PVE Tera. Even if you swipe and get the most tanky gear available in the game for archer, you will still die in 1 or 2 hits to direct boss hits. The reason why tanks can tank is not their gear but a block skill. You don't have one on archer. I can guarantee you wont have fun playing like that.

As a DD you have the role with the least responsibility but also with the least amount of carry potential, especially in lower dungeons. If you want to Instance Match and have more impact on your party, play healer or tank. Either way you'll still need help from your team members. Tera is not a single player game

If you are looking for an optimal setup for archer where you can be the most usefull to your teammates you can check out archer class discord, it should contain all the information you need: https://discord.gg/z5fnx2c

    Ty for listening @mods! <3

I paid TC with real money for years. It's not even about catching up or getting an advantage. There's only one dungeon that advances your ilvl to where you can play all dungeons. Why would I pay for TC again if all I'm getting is more CAT every day for the next few weeks, just so I'm able to play the real content of the game?

Either way, I doubt they'll make any new changes anytime soon. They added boxes that drop enchanting materials to the elleon marks shop, but since it's competing against Enhanced Duranium Medallions (the black infusions), it's probably as expensive as just straight-up buying boxes and keys from broker.

Basically a "fix" that doesn't fix anything.

Wait until you start grinding to reach the next ilvl threshold 501. Be prepared to spam a full month or more of CAT and nothing else. This patch was bearable with double loot on. Without it, you're stuck in terrible monotonous content or spend money to run content you were able to do months ago.

Please make enchanting materials group loot. The last thing Tera needs is more rng, salty players and those pesky "pass x"-runs. Removing that one part of rng does not influence shop sales or have any impact on the game state but would greatly improve user experience and would be extremely easy to implement.

Obviously, it also wouldn't hurt to lower the barrier to run all content Tera has to offer atm (which is, in all honesty, a very narrow assortment), either through increasing drops of Improved Feedstocks and Lumikan Wings or lowering the ilvl of dungeons even further.

So new or returning players are welcomed by 2 months of playing the same dungeon (if you're lucky) and that should convince them to pay a membership? Even with TC the grind is ridiculous for a "decent" set of gear. Imagine last patch grinding 8 CSNM every day for a month to get full +10 kaia so you can run other dungeons.

There is a multitude of ways to easily improve the player experience for both f2p and p2p players. Start with making the wings group loot (1 per run) so there is not another rng aspect that can make those 200 runs into 400. Collecting materials to enchant gear is part of the appeal to this game. I don't want to skip that. I just don't want it to be an endless grind of the same dungeon with no guarantee of succes.

    Dear fellow players and mods

After some quick and dirty calculations, I discovered players starting with this new patch (after double loot) need to run, on average, 200+ runs of Catalepticon to receive enough Lumikan Wing Fragments to upgrade their gear to reach the item-level to run the same content they were able to run 2 weeks ago.

For a player without Tera Club or Thalers with 1 playable character it would take ~1.5 months on average to get that far if they would play every single day, only CAT, until their coins run out... for 40+ days...

    Thoughts?

Regarding ban memeslashers. They cant ban ppl by Screenshots and movies where it's clearly visible that these guys cheat??? Is that a joke? Eeeeeven if it is like this. The same 3 ppl who are memeslashing are reported now over few weeks and nothing happen. I already told this in my opening post... Why gameforge dont send a gameadmin spectating CU to see this? I mean the memeslashers got reported by doozen of ppl and gameforge do nothing. Dont tell me it's hard for Gameforge to log in their own game on sunday for like 30min. They just dont care.

From a technical standpoint, you can make it look like they're cheating with your own cheats. Other players can use proxy to make YOU look like a cheater on their screen even though you didn't do anything wrong. In Polans message he basically states this, and says that they will check their own logs, because that's the information that they can 100% trust. Compare it to sending a screenshot of someone using offensive language but you photoshopped the text on there. The only way they can verify your claims is by checking their own chat logs.

And since CU takes place on a Sunday, putting a game admin (with enough rights to ban ppl) is probably not possible.

Not defending anyone or trying to minimize the situation, but this part makes sense. Though they do clearly seem to struggle understanding the logs and game mechanics to get evidence to ban people.

    Dear fellow players and moderators

This weekend the game has been nearly unplayable, just like most of the days during the week. There have been multiple posts here on the forum and numerous comments on the discord server. Playing high level dungeons that require quick reaction times are rendered unclearable due to lag. Only those who were lucky enough to cherry-pick their "Tera Time" on the few moments ping went down have been able to profit from the Double Loot Event.

I've seen rumors pass that this lag has been caused by exploiters and scripters. Someone said its an exploit with Battle Points. If that's really the case, then for the love of god...

    REMOVE BATTLE POINTS.
    NOONE CARES ABOUT BATTLE POINTS.
EVERYONE CARES ABOUT PLAYING THE GAME.

    Thanks.

You can run power earrings, but that only works with mystic (and preferably lamb bulgogi). On average you'll have ~63% crit. 65% crit seems to be the sweetspot you wanna reach. If most of your runs go over that, you probably have too much crit.
However, having a lot of crit is not bad. If you're not planning to score or tryhard with lamb bulgogi, going full crit is an easy way to guarantee decent dps ( not concidering you're playing a slayer ofc :^) )

Not saying that it's 100% correct either, but I think it has more value looking at the highest scores than at averages. Popularity and average skill between classes differs so greatly that it skews the results greatly.

Another thing to note is that slayer dps is higly dependent on pure rng, even more so than other classes. 9/10 runs you'll get a lowroll on Ultra Overhand Strike and do less dps than a ninja. On the other hand, if you highroll you can go up to archer tier. (not even talking about skill resets or crit)

I put this together watching Korean videos. Idk how viable it is, but might be a good start going into the dungeon :)

Yes, making up for the lack of competence on Gameforge and Blueholes side to make a game that you can actually run on an above average pc should be banned. Cheating my way to preset 3, damn I'm a bad boy.

Just like DFHM when it was returned, Manglemire grants 3star dungeon loot instead of the 4 stars it is:
4 elleons, 5 vmwa instead of 10 elleons, 10 mwa, etc
    Are you serious? Again?
