Have you considered having a place where you can group all of your videos and ease it up for players because guides like these are very good. I always feel more comfortable watching&reading on how to do something rather than plain reading.

Well, the Boost++ would decrease the PvP quality but it's not something that'd completely ruin your PvP. It'd still be better than having 10 FPS and not being to play properly.
But yeah, it's just for those in need.

Hardcore fps issues = don't play this game tbh. I managed to play with 5fps and some of aoe not showing for 2 years, learned boss animations so well that those few frames per second were enough to tell what attack is coming and dodge appropriately.
Well if this could let someone have a higher quality gaming experience then why not? If I liked the game and this was one option I'd definitely go with it. That's good but I prefer quality gaming experience, not everybody can afford a proper machine for it though and I ain't stating that I do have powerful rig. And yeah, TERA might not be as optimized.

Why make a 2. Version if the 2. Version makes no sense in the first place?
Why wouldn't it make sense? It just contains additional optimization for those who are experiencing hardcore FPS issues.

if u turn off effects/lights bound to the ground u cant pve or pvp properly. it just makes the game unplayable. that option has to be on unless u play on the island of dawn.
That's why you have two versions of that file

Hey!
I am aware that many players are having FPS issues and random drops while playing and we are getting wont to it. Therefore, I decided to do some tweaks with the S1Engine.ini file that will significantly increase your FPS both in PvP and PVE. I didn't want to guide you through 'how to do it', instead I predefined everything for two levels of optimization.
There are two downloadable files, S1Engine Boost and S1Engine Boost++. Why? The main reason is that some players are having more struggle with FPS so Boost++ will, obviously, increase the performance some more. Please note that S1Engine Boost++ will hide some objects on the floor and it might not be recommended for dungeons due to boss attack circles, though this is not major issue if you can't play due to low FPS. You'll also notice a significant loss of quality with flying objects/particles so you might not see all of them, acceptable solution for those who can't play due to low performance.

S1Engine Boost++TERA/Client/S1Game/Config <-- The files should be replaced with existing, either code or whole file instantly. Please note that the files should be set to 'Read Only' so the game does not change them. If you wish to do a permanent change then you can change the base file that's located in Tera/Client/Engine/Config/, BaseEngine.ini. Just open with WordPad for tidy overview and apply same changes.
Most of you probably know but for those who don't, FULL SCREEN WILL GIVE YOU A PERFORMANCE BOOST. An additional tweak you can work on is changing you field of view(FOV). Slightly higher FoV will make less objects render, thus your performance will increase. Please refer to FOV Changing Guide for more information on how to do it.
I decided not to create this in guide section because players mostly navigate to support section upon experiencing game issues. I'm hoping to see this thread sticky.
