    since you were playing via STEAM, all you had to do as mentioned in our FAQ was to download the GF TERA App on Steam (https://store.steampowered.com/app/212740/TERA/), install it and start the game from the Library, choose NA as region and then you should already be logged in with the correct account.


    However since the steps you took are not really clear (you mention that you clicked "no" when asked if you needed to migrate your account, but then you mention that you migrated the account a long time ago), please contact our team with all the info (at https://tera.support.gameforge.com/index.php?fld=en ) and explain exactly what you did for both of the accounts you mention you had and they should be able to give you more details on what happened there.

    I was playing on Steam, and ever since Gameforge announced it would be taking over, I did the migration process through web page, but by then I didn't have the game updated (it had been long since I last played). Yesterday I wanted to get back into it, so I logged back into Steam, so I updated it. When I tried to play I selected the US server and a message came up asking me whether I needed to migrate a character or not, and that if I didn't need to do that I would start as a new player (?). I tried doing the migration process by clicking "yes" (as in, I still needed to migrate my account) but when I tried to migrate it, it logically said that I had already migrated my account, which made sense since I had already done that. So I went back to the Steam client, pressed the option that said "no" (as in, I didn't need to migrate an account) and apparently that made it so I would be starting a completely new account. None of my characters or hours played are there anymore.


    I really don't know what to do, I contacted support yesterday, but I don't know if there is anything to do about this since apparently all my Steam data is lost. However, my en masse account is linked to my gameforge account (apparently?). I can't launch the game through the gameforge installer, (tried installing it there too) so I can't check whether my account data for Sundervillain could be there. God man, wish I had checked the Steam options more carefully, since all I did was follow the instructions I got on my email but I was not careful enough about the complications Steam could have with this.

    Once I updated TERA (had to reinstall) I logged in and clicked play, then I received a message asking whether I needed to migrate my account or not when it was already migrated, so I clicked "yes", but I couldn't start the game to check if my characters were there or not, so I clicked "no" and it started my game without any of my characters there.

    US is the server I used to play in, which is the one I got the message from when I selected it in steam.


    When I migrated my account, Gameforge apparently linked it to my steam account "ailunella" but the steam account I used to play TERA in was "Sundervillain". I really have no idea what to do about this. I migrated the account long ago, but I couldn't download the update because I was busy and I wasn't able to test it.

    I opened the game with both ailunella and sundervillain and none of my characters are there and both accounts belong to the same steam email.
