IIRC there is a message telling you that skills will be lost after combining.

I assumed, but you could've made those arguments with old random options, and especially moreso with old class passive values. I'm sure that many people didn't or don't know what's coming, so I felt I'd just add it.
I'd say now more than ever, Bluehole needs to realize the problem they're causing. I won't sit here and say random options are bad, because I'm fairly used to dumb RNG systems... I will however, say that the power creep is going to be awful with "Unique" rolls. How are you going to balance a dungeon when you need to account for at least 10% more damage from someone who has god tier rolls..? That's just one roll, too. Not accounting for the other 10% damage increase (for 20% total) and two survivability rolls to make the game even easier.
They don't balance anything. With bare requirements the dungeons take way too long and with BiS they are a joke. The damage dealt should be increased according to gear progression, but right now there is such a huge gap between +7,+8,+9 they could be considered a completely new tier and throw off any balancing you could try to apply.

You have to kill the boss Solo, do not form a group. It's HP is low enough that even healers can kill them fast.
IMO the description of the Staffs is very missleading, because I did the same mistake and formed a group because I expected a BOSS and not a trash mob. The loot ofc got someone else.
EDIT: Even more frustrating is the fact, that the Staffs are limited per Account and you are not even guaranteed to get your own loot.

Now that the game is 64-bit and can supposedly handle many people, bringing back Nexus in Argonea or the Highwatch equivalent (Nexus 2.0) might be a refreshing option that many people don't even know yet.
Other than that I hope they will put old dungeons in the Dungeon Gauntlet so they are not irrelevant immediatly.

If they overwrite each other their passive skills are the same

I have OS: Windows 7 64-bit, but i see in previev that new path will require Windows 10 64-bit.

So conclusion is that i am forced to quit this game, because i wont get win 10.

Nice, they now removing players from this game by upper hand...

Now i am sad i wasted money and last 2 moths for this game...
Anyway it was a fun ride, good luck you all withthis game...

They announced a few months ago that the support for Win7 will end

I mean the question whether a game is worth picking up is subjective. Someone might enjoy playing tera a lot, even casually while others don't. You should just try it out and see, it's free anyway.
To get to the point where you have fun takes a lot of time, because lvling is way too fast for a beginner to enjoy the combat and once you hit max lv you have to grind for weeks to get to the real endgame with 90% of the active playerbase.
If someone asks me "is it worth giving a shot" I'd say NO, even when it's free there are more enjoyable ways to waste your free time.

You're right OP, the game is only alive on Tuesdays but lately not even then. I know it's summer and people may be vacationing but I haven't seen Tera this empty since before Corona and the decline started with the new dungeon. People completely lost motivation to play with limited entries. We're bound to our static and can't play when we want anymore, and God forbid real life prevents you from doing your runs on Tuesday or Wednesday you can forget about doing them on the weekend as there will be nobody left to play with.
Just what were they thinking? Purposely killing the game? Can't they see the log in data lately (the decline)? Idk...
In Addition it takes way too long to update to the latest version where you can roll your gear stats. I do DAH to get Resizing stones, but I have no motivation to run DAN with the knowledge that it will be easier to get desired stats with a coming update.
I didn't play for months before and after exodor released, came back after patch 92 when getting gear got easier.
I assume that many people, including me, are tired of the crisis we have to endure after every major update and just do different things than playing TERA, while we wait for a solution of a problem that was created by the devs.

My guesses are
Adventure Coins
Fashion Coupons
I just checked and these are the only items I left in my bank when transfering 1 year ago that match with your inventory.
Dunno about valkyon coins and legacy essence fragment, (and all new gearing related items like dark shards) because these didn't exist back then.

Everything belonging to the star trace event (at least the clue comet and the star with limited duration, dunno about star trace)
And Try Banyakas Chest and Azart Elixier

well, the "tutorial" is forced on you in order to avoid troubles in endgame dungeons..you might have done FA 200 times, but if you use the class changer voucher and you suddendly enter FA with a class you've never played before, it's safe to assume you're not going to perform optimally. (maybe instead of 10 runs it could be 5 runs of lower dungs to unlock higher ones, jsut to make the tutorial faster..but it still needs to be there).
for what concerns the gear, I mentioned it in my edited version, you just wrote your reply as I was editing my original post, so you didn't have the chance to see it.
But yeah, basically let's say that for example you have a zerk and you want to switch to sorcerer:
annihilation gets switched into dark light ( mask, belt and brooch included)
physical crit power gets switched into magical crit power
physical amplification gets switched into magical amplification
max hp gets switched into max mp
Forcing a tutorial for experienced players but still allowing new characters to enter without said tutorial doesn't make sense to me. I understand what you mean - to guarantee others you know your class - but this doesn't fulfill the purpose of your "switching class" idea where you keep everything from your character. A beginner who doesn't know anything about his class + the dungeon has the right to enter but an experienced player, who doesn't switch classes without being sure he will enjoy it or will be good at it (he should test it via an alt before he spends money) must not? I think this should not only be implemented for this voucher but for all players.
About the gear:
You didn't fully understand my point. A phyiscal -> magical conversion might work for some examples, but not every class. Some benefit from P. Crit Power, whereas others benefit from P. Amplification, M. Piercing or M. Resistance. A 1:1 conversion will lead to a downgrade because you won't get the desired stats.
The ability to choose would be the best for the player, but will be abused by p2w. Randomizing would not be in the player's interest and converting 1:1 might work if you change Sorc -> Zerk or Reaper -> Slayer or Gunner -> Warrior and vice versa, but will end in a mess for every other case.
This would have been easier in the past when we relied on Power and Crit Factor, but is impossible with the new stats, if you want to guarantee the same experience for the player with a different class.

Hello everyone,
as the title suggests, I'd like to address what could be a nice addition to the game, the "class changer voucher":
Being able to change the class of your character without having to start one from 0 would be very nice..you could keep all your achievements, your character name, you wouldn't have to farm 2m gold to max advanced skills everytime you want to switch main, you would keep your mounts, your costumes..all you'd lose would be the ability to enter endgame dungeons right away (this to avoid having people enter bahaar or fa or dahm with a class that's completely new to them). You'd have to start from MC and get 10 runs of each dung to unlock the next one, so that by the time you reach fa and bahaar you at least have 60 dungeon clears with the new class, which should be enough to give you a pretty decent understanding of the class so you don't cause problems in endgame dungeons...running those dungeons would take a few days to a week at most if you're lazy..so it's still a lot better than having to start a character from 0.
You would still create other characters from 0 to use as alts, but at least you could change class with your main without having to lose everything the way you would if you decided to switch to another main but were forced to start it from 0 like you are now ( you would especially lose all achievements coming from old content no longer available, something people who have been using a character for years would have to suffer).
Of course the voucher wouldn't come cheap from the shop, but that'd be fair considering how much stuff it'd allow you to keep, and it'd have to be a bit pricey just for GF to even consider the idea.
Lemme know what you think, if you'd like this or you prefer to lose costumes, lose achievements, lose mounts, refill advanced skills whenever you feel like switching main class.
It's a nice thought, but besides forcing a tutorial to unlock content someone has done hundreds of times (I assume you did if you want to play a different class with the same character) there is one big issue:
How do you convert gear to fit a different class?
I mean switching between Tank, Heal or DPS is one major issue, but even switching between DPS classes will result in a downgrade. With the new stats and every class scaling with different stats it will be hard to determine what stats on the new gear are equivalent to your old gear.
Should BiS be BiS again or do you keep or even worse randomize the new stats? With the coming update this problem could be solved by the player, but we still don't know how hard it is to roll gear.
Just one problem I see that you might not have thought about, but I guess your idea was more directed to people who value achievements higher than equipment.

In the past we used to have 1 (2 Club) entry per dungeon per day, what was fine, because the dungeons took longer and there was in general an acceptance of the community, because they were used to it.
When the coin system was introduced, the entry costs where too high to just do whatever you want. Instead you focused on doing the latest dungeon you can do and save your coins. Now you have enough coins and entry costs are low, so you have almost no restrictions anymore.
Having hardly any entries AND entry costs is just worst of both worlds. The 1-boss dungeons are way too short to limit the entries like this and on top of that have the highest fee to enter.
One example: Dreadspire had 5 entries /day (!) and did take a good amount of time so that it wasn't a no-brainer to clear in one day + the loot wasn't important for your equipment.
The new dungeon entries, where you have to farm your jewelry, lasts for max. 2,5 hours if you plan 15min per run (enter, clear, loot).
One more thing to add: The devs should stop adding 1-boss dungeons and start bringing back 3 or more bosses per dungeon. It gets boring way too fast to see the same boss every fight.

But if you had a bad experience as a child (even if it was not really hard like only touching the… ok, I better stop this), you would see pedophilia in these pictures. Is it the artists or the victims fault? Neither one nor the other. It's a thin line between "it's fine" and "it's not".
It's 2020 and people get offended by everything, but I think you shouldn't support this mindset of "feelings overvalue facts". It was kind of proven by senita456 that these images are not harmful and before they were shown ingame they were selected by Gameforge. I assume they have the legal knowledge to be sure the pictures are not sexualizing.
If you still don't want to see these pictures you can help yourself. It took me less than one minute to find this.
Go to your Tera directory, then go Client\S1Game\Config and open S1Engine.ini with some text editor (notepad, notepad++). Press ctrl+f and search DepthOfField. Change True to False, so the line will be DepthOfField=False instead of DepthOfField=True.
Now your loading screens are just black with the loading bar. -
If you think this rant will change anything, I have bad news for you, Mr. DryFarts

yet another thing to blame BHS for...in the previous patches we had like 26 dungeons to choose from, not it's what...18 ? instead of removing content and bringing it back every 2-3 years for 6 months so new players think it's new content, they should keep all existing dungeons available (ever since 2012 I'm sure more than 50 dungeons have been created) in order to add more variety , so that even with limited entries you'd have more than enough dungeons to choose from to keep the game interesting...ah, also adding new dungeons more often would be nice

But I guess the bottom line is that this can't be helped, as long as we're stuck with lazy and greedy devs and publishers, who aim to release as little content as possible (more often than not, it's actually "recycle"), and add as many rng boxes for upgrade mats, mounts and skins as they can, to get as much profit as possible, with the lowest possible amount of money invested...
you see other companies earning more than 1 billion dollars a year with games that have no rng boxes, or p2progress/p2w , just adding new content all the time, actually fixing/reworking stuff based on feedback from the community, and basing 99% of their income on skins that don't come from rng-boxes, and they don't even have the amazing combat system Tera has.
IIRC they announced to not cut any content out again 1 or 2 years ago. But I guess the devs working on TERA now are not the same anymore and are not aware of this promise. I can understand that having too many dungeons would spread the playerbase, but you can implement events with special loot in some dungeons to solve this problem. I see no reason in deactivating entry portals for dungeons that are in our game folder anyway, many favorite dungeons of the community are excluded because of this.
Balancing the dungeons for Lv 70 is not a problem, it worked for other existing dungeons aswell. Of course new dungeons are more interesting, but so many dungeons are that old, that even veterans don't know them. Like Balders Temple (H), Fane of Kaprima (H), Argon Corpus (H), Crucible of Flames... I never had the chance to play this content because I personally was too late and I am positive that I am not the only one. Bringing just a few old dungeons back with an updated Lv 70 Version would increase variety so much and people wouldn't be angry about 10 runs per week. Of course it must cover loot tables of low, mid, high and end game dungeons to not be dead content right away (Like Rift's Edge being low tier dungeon... no comment on this).
