It's funny that you specifically are saying this when you were the one who dismissed RU's achievement based solely on OP consumable they had at their disposal. I guess it's only relevant when you are not the one completing it.

Don't take it personally, I am not talking about one player specifically and certainly not about you.

But the fact still stands. NA doesn't have our consumables and they WILL clear it fast without them. It has been proven time and time again that their best players are able to deal at least as high as our DPS players and they don't have access to CA. As for some conspiracy theories, dunno, my Scythe hits are consistent with Chicken Finger's when accounted for all the necessary debuffs and slaying build.

As for the main question - who cares? Well, I do. Some of people on NA as well. Certainly people who want to brag about doing something first, ie. people wanting their achievements to be acknowledged by larger community. The methods DO matter.

You were the first on EU who cleared this and I congratulate you for that. No one will ever take that from you. You may not care but there are groups of players who are interested in doing things best, fastest, first.

So yea, you climbed the Everest. But soon there will come a group who will do it without supplemental oxygen.

EDIT: and yes, of course I am envious. Not about the fact that you scored the first clear though. I am envious of all people who had the possibility to actually go there and try out the Raid so soon and so fast because the early patch announcement, well, it kinda screwed me with being unable to accommodate work schedule to my guild's needs.

Please, endgame players from all regions are +15 where it counts anyway (tanks weap/armor, dps weapon) so the difference is minimal.

I am sorry, no one is going to convince me that a warrior from na who cant basically charging-bladedraw-scythe-repeat has it easier because he had easier access to +15 weapon when every top level dps has +15 anyway.

And you did BAM/mob farm? You did not mention that in either of your posts.

2 things come to mind as explanation right away:

1) That person who had less points did not do their farming before and did it late at night, so they were not really that behind in points if you did them. Then they did their farming and gap closed.

2) That person was not really that many points behind since points actually update periodically and what you may have checked was before update (ie - the person does the quests but their standing is not updated right away, then you check points and see a bigger gap, then the points get updated and the difference stops being that big)
