  • Lvl 57 warrior in search of good quests

    There's no such thing is "being too high level" for a story quest. :3 You might not be able to use instance matching to enter that specific dungeon to clear it but you can go alone. If you're indeed too high level, tackling that dungeon alone is possible. I assume you already levelled enough to render this post irrelevant but I threw my 2 cents in, in case someone bumps into the same problem. ^-^


    If you're from Mystel I could even help you. Or if not, you could ask other level 65s to clear them for you. You might not get experience for these bosses but you can advance your story quest and get possible vanguard rewards too.

    It shouldn't be hard. :3


    Just press L that brings up the lore / quests. Check the story quests tab which should list everything by level so you know what to look for. If you are already at 57 then I'd recommend finishing Labyrinth of Terror and 2 Ebon tower until 60 then do the newest story quest that starts at 60.


    If you are still interested in the old story quests, you can go back to them anytime.

  • Smart Overview about Priest Skills and Chains

    If you use words of vitality but cancel it with fiery escape or backstep you keep the movement speed + won't go cooldown. A nice way to get max movement speed for 10 seconds and heals for the party (if you're willing to sacrifice one of your movement skills). ^^

    Yes, please make sure you use the CORRECT lines in armour and weapon as they also give you iLvl. That is also listed in the 2nd post in that thread, way below.


    Green rolls in gear won't increase iLvl, maybe you chose them instead of yellow ones.

    That means You're a returning player. As far as I remember those are parts of Misery gear. You have to upgrade your gear using golden talents and they will be converted to something else.


    For that, open up inventory with any button you set and look for the new icon at the very bottom (that is not enchanting!). Insert your gear there and convert it. Once it's done, right click the enigmatic gear, set the rolls you need and it's ready to use.

  • Lagging all the time....

    Not sure if it's related but some people experience heavy lagg spikes when using noctenium. Try not using any kind and bank them just in case. Steam shouldn't be the problem as it's just a platform where you can start Tera from. It can only cause issues if it's downloading stuff in the background but that shouldn't be happening as they'll be turned off once any game is running from your library.


    If you want to monitor your network activity, even task manager can do that. Obviously it won't tell you your ping but shows you if there's a sudden spike in your network. If no such thing happens then it's either their server or other routing problems. :c

  • Game Option keeps went back to default. what to do?

    Since those files are responsible for these options, I would double check if you changed the correct file to read-only. Can you check that file's last modification date? Maybe it gets deleted for some reason.


    You can also change the values manually in Notepad or whatever text program you're using, make a back-up copy of it and replace the file before you start Tera.

    Guys, when the only thing the other person can say "they must have been bad players if you can do that", just let it go. Don't feed the trolls. Just accept there can't be any other logical explanation and move on.

    These mass pulls are all okay. It is how the game supposed to be played, just like proxies. I don't know why are You guys are obsessed with these underpowered valkyries so much./s

  • "Account Blocked. Please Contact Support" Error

    A block on the account is usually temporary, taken as a security measure. Can be triggered several ways, like sudden change of ISP, using some kind of VPN and so on.


    Such random blocks can be lifted (usually) by entering the old account management ( https://account.tera.gameforge.com/?l=en ). If that doesn't help then You can still ask Support to have a look what just happened.
    Speaking of which, keep in mind that Support and the Forum are two different websites. Meaning if you change the password here on the forums, that will have no effect on the Support's website. Or the other way around.


    For the "error occured, try again later" is usually solved by changing browsers. Personally that website will never work for me if I'm using chrome, no idea why. But it always work with Firefox or any other. But if your account is indeed blocked for a reason then this problem will remain even after you switch browsers.

    Something missing? Check your buffs.
    Boss is enraged? The HP bar glows.
    Enrage ends in XXX? Its roughly 35 seconds and never changes. Simple math. You will get used to that 35 seconds as you also get familiar with your skills' cooldown (like how many times can you use something before enrage ends)
    Next enrage? 10% after it ended.


    It's read only. It checks something that you can also check for yourself if you want to. Not really sure why are you bringing this up alongside with something that is positively affecting your gameplay.

    Not like an official answer will change anything.


    As we already know, people are already using scripts that will make you like a braindead AI playing the game as it supposed to be played for many months (if not years) now. An official statement about that won't make them stop cheating playing the game as it is supposed to be played.


    I mean they never really received a ban for using it, why start getting banned now? It is up to BHS to change things.

    I think it is safe to assume most of the players probably don't mind proxy if used by players who actually have like unplayable ping.


    Problem is, there are players who use it regardless of their ping, brag about their dps, kick everyone out from their parties who doesn't meet their dps standards (which you will have a hard time to reach without using it either) and all they can say is:
