If i remember correctly OP was on the forum trying to MAKE A TIMEFRAME to revitalize arena. In my opinion, op has offered more to the game than all of gameforge combined.

I mean, if the game dies it won't come back in a fashion old style version with flowers and unicorns everywhere, full of players and good pvp/pve content. If people still play the game today who cares ? It probably just means nobody has been able to make a game similar to this one as combat but better in every other aspect.

never was a dedicated pvp player ( prolly cos i got killed more than i killed others
) but i found the alliance zones a very nice way to pvp. no must-do-this-and-that necessarily... you could just hangout there and see what would be coming at you, nice bosses (incl. invisible ones) to keep you occupied, materials to gather and they were large enough zones to not force you to encounter enemies (but you never knew) and plenty of ways to hide, run or hunt down players for the hell of it.

Maybe i'm just bad but i've played a couple CS bg these days and it's a mess compared to the past.
Most of the people almost one hit me with a couple skills, tends to desync a lot ( i bet this is related to known external programs ) and don't know why but the relatively small scale pvp encounters on alliance felt more entertaining from my pov.
TBA didnt took any resources or money.TBA is just copy of TERA with moba style.Same skills,same characters,same world view.Just they created the area and coins.Bosses are also same ROFL.So there is no investment on it.It's just "ok pvpers shut up we did TBA".Thats all and its even worse then regular tera.And some "more ons" saying "they gave u pvp mode stop crying" blabla on this forum.I bet that guy doesnt even know what pvp means.
Well it takes time even to assemble stuff with recycled assets. Don't know how big is the dev team working on Tera but i bet it's not that big because otherwise the game would be in a better state ![]()
Every new patch brings recycled old bosses, like the next one for example Darkan AGAIN!? and to do high end dung you must spend trillions of golds (OR DUPE ITEMS LOL) to have SUPER PERFECT stats like 4 amplifications in a single jewellery to pass the atrocious DPS CHECK! Yea not paying a peny for this trash anymore
Recycled content is fine as long as it's not just that.
For example i wasn't playing during Darkan times and i missed the HM and the challenge behind him. Having a chance to see him again is kinda welcome from my Pov. They just shouldn't use this reason to recycle too much content <.<
TBA surely took a lot of resources so it was really unlikely that the next patch could have some original content,sadly <.<
Has anyone got the achievement for defeating Nightmare Kalioth in Antaroth's Abyss training dungeon without dying? If so, how did you do it?
I've tried to get this achievement a few times now and it seems impossible because the boss does the curse debuff more than once, and the NPCs don't take the debuff, so you're kinda forced to take it more than once and inevitably die—unless I'm missing something? Can training dungeons be done in a party?

We don't play on the same version as KTera so Gameforge has definitely some space to change stuff.
If you check Seraphinush blog you'll see that they had more than one 99.x patch on Ktera and on one of them added Feedstock Boxes as loot from higher instances while here we need to run RR and RK9 if we want to "farm" them ![]()
Maybe we'll get the same updates with patch 100 but in the meanwhile we have insane prices for feedstocks ![]()
Sorry that is something i cant believe. When you find bugs, which make your game unplayable and will make your community extremely upset, destroying your income and the feedback, you cant tell me that you are forced to install the patches. This is european right and no company have to install damaged patches. Gameforge just didnt test their patches. I mean look at the 64bit patch. Testserver was online 1 week, after this week they instand update the game to 64. How you wanna fix bugs in this short time. They working in europe, no they working in germany and have many certific*tes. (lol this Word is censored,what irony) I would say they even are DIN certified, like every good company in germany is. This means, that they have a quality management and this management would stop this patches if they would find such bugs.
Regarding ban memeslashers. They cant ban ppl by Screenshots and movies where it's clearly visible that these guys cheat??? Is that a joke? Eeeeeven if it is like this. The same 3 ppl who are memeslashing are reported now over few weeks and nothing happen. I already told this in my opening post... Why gameforge dont send a gameadmin spectating CU to see this? I mean the memeslashers got reported by doozen of ppl and gameforge do nothing. Dont tell me it's hard for Gameforge to log in their own game on sunday for like 30min. They just dont care.
And again, not a single reply of a community manager yet in this or any other feedback / bugreport thread. I dont know why they call them CM when even the description text on their homepage tells, what they have to do. They didnt even carry out one single point of her own description.

Furthermore TERA is not a new game so they probably ain't even worried about its future, they'll just keep milking it until it's worth and then drop it when necessary.

As far as i can say Gameforge did some progress in terms of Events compared to the past but always lacks of communication/transparency with the playerbase of their games.
Bluehole completely screwed their own game and Gameforge is kinda happy about it because they just care about how to increase their income from Cash-shop so it's unlikely that the game will go back to its glory.
At this point the chances of Tera becoming populated like in Vm1-vm2 era are close to zero and best bet for both developer/publisher is to keep milking the whales waiting for newer games.
That's sad because this one still has lot of potential but that's how business works when GF is involved.
I could name at least 3 more GF games that are still decent nowadays but they just keep being milked because of whales/p2w updates.
Best you can do is to just uninstall and move on because ranting on Forum ( i said Ranting, not posting feedbacks ) just increases your frustration and doesn't change much for GF itself.
threea, is it possible to leave NPCs for events after the completion of these events for at least a week to exchange the remaining tokens for the corresponding assortment? Sometimes players simply do not have time to exchange tokens on the last day of events for some reason and, as a result, miss the opportunity to receive rewards.

I actually enjoy the battle arena, it is real fun, especially with a group of people you know. But most people won't care about the BA because you get no rewards for it, other than just a few of the new currency coins that allow you to buy heroes/crystals. If it was a battleground more people would indeed queue for it, especially if it gave rewards for your normal Tera account.
And that happens because the game requires dedication if you wanna progress at a decent rate... if things were easier people would have more time to pvp/have fun in pvp modes <.<
Not even out for a week and already a dead gamemode... at "peak times" in the afternoon... it's so sad because I actually think it has potential.
Could have had some kind of potential if introduced as a battleground.

Nobody here can see the future, Gameforge just bought NA' rights and they're in a far worse state than EU so i guess they plan to keep the game alive for the near future.

If you're looking for pvp you'll be disappointed.
If you were ok with PvE when valkyrie came out you'll probably have some fun even now. You need to grind for your +15 gear but as far as i can tell there's no real need to be +15.
IM pops pretty quickly during afternoon/evening with Tank/Healer, ofc with Dmg you might have some time to wait <.<
Don't invest money because that's not worth. If you wanna ease the grind maybe one month of TC, then you can buy it at broker if you play at least 2/3 hours per day.

- 3 side quests with no sense, no reward, same monster to kill. Story is just ridiculous. Boss and mini-boss and secondary boss are the same monster.. There are even "sound" bugs where sometime it's missing sound or there are sound for no reason with nothing around. Did they really test the quests ? No talking about "graphism" that is ugly..
- TBA : Gameplay & gamemode are the worst part of the game. With Tera's gameplay being really good, how can they release a game with such a bad gameplay. Skills are so boring, no attack speed, cooldown are absurd (very long) and you have only 4/5 skills. Monsters are not funny to kill at all. Globally the whole game is not funny to play. To be honest, I was not expecting anything but still I'm surprised that they were able to release such a bad game.
I really wonder who actually like the game ? I would like to know the argument maybe I've missed something..
And wait when you'll go back to Regular tera with the UI settings resetted just because you tried TBA xD
As i probably already wrote, i'm mostly a PvE player ( even if i miss old Alliance times where i used to pvp a little ) but i couldn't even bother playing more than 1 TBA match.
It's completely another game compared to Tera, it just shares the same assets because of recycling.

Classic Tera would be cool but Gameforge won't risk to lose their business just to bring back the old times. And i can even understand that.
Best we can hope for is that Krafton might wake up someday and decide they've made a lot of mistakes just for the sake of money.
The 64bit client is what made me come back again to Tera again and i can say that's been a good update afterall. Playing with 140 fps instead of 60 is totally another thing. We just need some kind of update to ease the grind and let people enjoy both pvp/pve without having the need to take the game as a full time job.

Can't understand Whales too but i'm sure it's not their fault if Krafton can't manage to focus on both pve and pvp aspect of their game. Yeah, PvE playes probably bring more money than pvpers but you need both to keep the game population healthy, and more players should mean more money. I mean if we had some decent pvp and a server pop 2/3 times the actual size we'd still have whales and even more people that might spend money.
Blaming players because of developers fault seems wrong in every case. And i'm also pretty sure that once GF drops Tera we'll lose it for good in Europe, so hoping to make their business fail won't surely bring back the old times <.<

Yeah you clearly don't like it, and that's ok, but if pvp got killed you can be sure it's not players fault and at this point it's pretty obvious that Bluehole/Krafton had zero idea on how to manage that side of the Game.
They can barely manage the PvE one just because Tera is such a unique game that people can't replace it with something better.

The number of skills doesn't make the combat system.
Even if there would only be 2 heroes with 1 skill each. And both of these skills are none of the skills in TERA, as long as they use the same physical mechanics it's the same combat system in terms of skills.
The other factors are, as I mentioned before, number of units you control and PoV.
Dude nothing wrong if you like this TBA mode but as much as i wanted to be positive it really has nothing to do with Tera except the recycling of content.
I'm not even a fan of PvP content, i play the main game and used to like every aspect of it, so i did partecipate in pvp but i'm not a fanatic.
The amount of heroes is limited, most of them have a lazy design and there's not a single new cosmetic added, everything's recycled just because they wanted to rush a new mode that clearly isn't suited for the PvP fanbase neither for the PvE one because it's completely detached from the core Tera and in reality doesn't even offer anything new and challenging.
There's very little to say in defence of this waste of development time. Tera needs pvp players, and pve players need something to do when they're all maxed out and looking for something else to play except instances.
TBA is not the answer to these needs, imho ![]()
