With the new 64bitch patch the requirements became much more steep, harder to run on weaker system but better on beefier pc. Who would think GTX 760/r9 280 would be minimum for such an old game..

Post your PC specs because you keep telling you have a good PC but 8 gb ram is too low nowadays.
Btw i play with real time opt at 3 and except fishing zones/highwatch when crowded i don't see any quality drop.
Consider you'll also spend the majority of your endgame time in instances and there's no quality scaling there afaik

Someone asks if it's worth to start playing or to come back, we say maybe – if they're OK having to deal with a huge gambling system that's creeped into every single part of this game – and you go all white knight mode for a company that couldn't care less about you?
We won't drive new/returning players away by telling them the truth, Krafton and Gameforge have been doing that for us.

Please, re-read most of the posts written in this thread, 90% of them are just "SHIT P2W unistall, endless grind no fun bla bla bla". Probably a huge portion of them have at least hundreds of hours played if not way more than that.

You're struggling to understand that writing on this forum has been useless for years and it'll continue being useless so the only reasonable things left to do at this point are to either quit for good or try and keep it together because the playerbase is just going to shrink and Gameforge doesn't really care about that. Once the game won't be sustainable they'll just stop publishing and Krafton is already working on another game so they also couldn't care less.

The game is completely playable even if you don't invest money. You won't reach BiS gear ( and with this i mean perfect rolls on everything ) but that's NOT necessary to be able to enjoy the game.
If after years of playing you're tired of this grind it doesn't necessarily mean the whole game has to be deleted just because you don't have any more stimulus to continue.
Unless we are talking about kids aged 2-10 years old, the truth should not be hidden, even if it's scary. Grownups can normally handle it.
And what "helps the game" is only secondary after what helps the individual player or non player to have a better understanding of things, thus becoming able to make better choices in his life. This is another reason to state the facts and not hide them in a selfish manner to keep the game we are so addicted to alive and running for a bit longer.
As i wrote multiple times already i came back in October after a break of 3 years i guess. I'm far from being addicted to this game.
I've checked both this forum and reddit before downloading and while i do agree that it requires a lot of grind/dedication and it's full of people paying to skip progress i don't find it so unplayable for what regards PvE.

We spent 6 posts in this same page talking about how p2w is the wrong definition and how stupid it is to drive new players away just because you grew bored of it and here we go again.
You're the 3rd problem of this game, in order:
1) Krafton
2) GF
3) Toxic community
Doesnt change the fact that u get enough from TS if u run with more char four times per day so what
You'll get one every 5 runs on average. It means an average of 0,8 per char if you have TC and make 4 runs per day with each one.
And btw you make it look like everybody might be able to run TSH 4-8-12 times day without being bored after a week. It's a game, it shouldn't be a 2nd job.
When you wonder why the game ain't popular and full of people it's because of stuff like this. It's not impossible to play even being f2p but it's hard and requires a lot of dedication.
Look at modern games being a little more friendly with casuals and populated because of that.
GF and Tera in general ( krafton ) should look at them and learn something because this is still a good game in terms of challenges/mechanics and it could be doing way better than this.
EDIT: Now that i think about it they could have just halved the amount of runs per day.
I mean 2 runs per TSH per day, each char is more than enough for casuals and for tryhards because every tryhard has at least 2 chars and the instance doesn't rlly require endgame gear to be doable.
And u still get one save, u can reset now, u can run this shit with trash twinks and you get three from HH now so where is the problem xD
Being able to set up a HH with current pop requires waaaaay more effort than running TShm.
Yeah i know, tryhards and elitists have no problems but hello... there's also average people that'd like something good once in a while.
I've seen 2 LFGs on mystel for HH, they were both pre-made without actually looking for people.
I guess i might try to lfg with randoms but it'll be a total waste of time and i'm 95% sure about that

The black friday sales are a bit underwhelming. Could you guys at gf at least bring back costumes and weapon skins as a direct buy that us at EME never got when they came out in EU? Such as Red dawn frostrune Weapon skin (aka pink starglow) or the bathysmal weapon skin (and not have it only on the rng wheel)? The deals in the shop are kinda ehh. I probably won't be spending money this year. At least eme had sales up to 50-75% off everything on certain days and even bonus emp sales like $200 packages, etc.
The TT bonus here comes almost every week/two weeks, on sunday most of the times.

Better give them updated honest feedback with the good and bad aspects of it and let them decide.
Not every player looks for the same to begin with, some people won't mind certain aspects, so it's better to let each try for themselves.
I believe if by the time you get a content it's outdated playing actively, it's not really pay2advance or fast any longer, it's a non strict form pf p2w, but this is just my humble opinion and subject to discussion. Then again the BiS is not needed to enjoy and access every game content so there's that too.
That's why i've already wrote 2 times to stay away if you don't like grinding for best equipment.
I mean... getting +12/+13 kaia requires no more than a month if you play actively and that's enough to run everything imho.
Will you struggle more with +12/13 equipment instead of all +15 ? Yeah, but not that much.
Will you be able to enjoy the pve content of the game ? Yeah.
I just came back first days of October but as far as i know Annihilation and Kaia gear has been here for around one year, and there's still no sign of new gear coming.
Honest feedback is that the game ain't Pay2Win because there's nothing to Win in PvE except the entertainment.
If you want to be the number one in rankings well then you have worse problems than the difficulty of reaching BiS.
Don't get me wrong tho, i'm not saying the game is perfect but it's not that bad either.
I've seen +15 with BiS gear being outdpsd by lower geared ppl so at the end of the day being perfect is cool but totally not necessary.
Edit: I'm not even considering the pvp aspect because that's Krafton fault and discussing it here has proven pointless in all these years...
So you paid to win too. You paid for Tera Club. Now try to do the same thing without TC, probably would've taken 4 months.
The more you pay, the faster you get the good stuff. You literally pay to win in that case.
And the +15 for sale costs like 7-9 mill gold. Don't tell me you can earn that amount of gold by not spending a dime on the game.

And btw i've spent the initial 12€ for TC then bought the next one at Broker. And even if i spent for 2 months TC paying 12€ monthly is not the end of the world. Real FreetoPlay do not exist because nobody likes working for free :\
Which server you playing on ? Because on Mystel there's +15 stuff for less than 5 mills, unless you looking to buy perfectly rolled stuff... in that case you should aim a little lower to begin with.
Lastly yeah, it's possible to make those gold even without abusing cashshop. Most of the stuff you loot has a value, instead of being a serial accumulator focus on one thing you want and sell the rest. Surprise! You can make golds.
Furthermore i've been pretty clear with my previous post, if you don't like grind then yeah, stay away. But calling the game Pay2Win is incorrect because you don't NEED +15 to play the game and considering 95% of the content is PVE, being able to clear instances faster is not really so gamechanging.
If you're tired of playing or tired of Krafton's managment of the game you have every right in this world but coming on the forum discouraging potential new players is just plain dumb because once tera dies it won't resurrect in a better form.
No, in its current state I would not recommend. 1-2 years ago it was much better, much less P2W than now. If you are tired of P2W games, this is not the right place for you, I can tell you that much.
If you don't mind subscriptions, go play WoW or FFXIV. Much better, healthy, non p2w games with a monthly subscription fee, somewhere around that pricetag.
P2W is not correct.
The game is completely playable without spending money, you'll just need more time.
I've managed to +15 my main char with "decent" rolls on most of the gear ( jewelry included ) and the only thing i've spent for is one TC sub.
It took around 2 months playing mostly Tera and little other games so it's not impossible to do.
If you don't like the enchant system you can easily find +15 stuff for sale.
I'd say stay away if you don't like to grind for stuff, but the game can't be considered p2Win.

When I logged in after so many years I was greeted by this "Returning Hero" popup, I clicked it and it spawned a guardian box and maybe some crystal box in my inventory, which I found laughable... Where can I read about this +10 and +7 scroll? What gear are they usable for?
Don't know, i came back first week of October and i've received the stuff i listed.
You can enchant up to kaia with those scrolls.
If i'm not wrong the stuff is inside the Guardian box, you receive a new one every level from 65 up to 70, ofc the scrolls are lv.70 reward
You get some Guardian gear or something, completely useless... This is one of those things that the developers/publishers never bothered to update/actualize more often than once in every 3 years...
You get +10 scrolls for armor pieces and +7 for weapon.
A bunch of advancement scrolls to upgrade skills and some rapid XP potion to level up 70 quickly.
It's quite good actually.
