I totally agree with the FPS optimizer and other harmless stuff shouldn't have such "fake" hacks. We lack context here anyway. I automatically assumed it was bundled into a harmful proxy (SP, GM Menu, blink script, etc) since that would be the justice I'm talkin' about.. Baiting poor dudes with FPS tools and auto-loot or something equally harmless is indeed a dick move

They are not breaking any ToS by creating them (Not using them or anything) and baiting some baddies, and it's also impossible to tie their github/whatever to actual Tera accounts to ban them anyway.
I get where you're coming from though. Usually laws don't allow people to take justice into their own hands like these "fake" hackers do, but laws (especially internationally) are way harder to apply on the internet or video games... So in this case this can give some people a justice boner (to see wannabe hackers get rekt), that's pretty much it.

Similar happened in BDO, where russians spread a fake hack and then deleted all the items of the ppl who downloaded the hack (in BDO you cant trade so they couldnt really use the stolen accounts) -
While PvE player using SP will have a better dps, whoever lives closer to the server or has good hardware will have better dps than someone living in spain playing on 15fps. So what then?
This is the Developer's fault, their retarded coding makes this game indeed only playable for people who have decent ping. Every game is unplayable above a certain ping, just sadly in Tera this certain value is way too low. Also I think "Hardware Requirements" are not unheard of in gaming, people with pentium IIs and GTX 300 should look for other games in their range. Optimization in trash anyway, even with i7, 16 gb ram and gtx 1070 I have around 15 fps.... Oh wait there's a proxy for that too, that removes the players in your party so you can have much higher FPS.
The double keybinding is smart, I have to admit, it never crossed my mind to do that (never needed it). But there's still the mounting ,teleporting, autoretaliate (can be faster than a slow player's reaction, i guess), etc, benox's 1st post sums it up.
Yes I skipped auto-crystalbind (I hope you meant that), and auto loot, as those are indeed not harmful
But sadly there's no way to selectively fix the proxy modules problem, all of them will be gone once they figure something out (if ever...) -
@jinh Well 2+ people in this thread already used the same "you guys just complain and dont even know how proxy works" argument, so it's just another one of those posts, I guess.
Anyway you said you are a PvE player, is it possible you are using Skill prediction to boost your DPS scores in party chat/moongourd? You said you have 50 ms, that's around what I used to play with on archer, which is probably more ping reliant than gunner, and it was completely playable (even had #1 on moongourd with that ping); not warranting any Skill prediction modules.
PvE players (= Moongourd fanatics since DPS meter exists) consider SP to be unfair, because you'll have better DPS than the ones not using SP.PvP players have similar modules around, for example mount in combat (Broken as fúck in BGs I imagine), autonostrum (You no longer have to pay attention to REGRESSION/plague), short/long distance teleports, and so on, all of which are basically unfair. These are the PvP equivalent of "Skill prediction" in unfairness.
I gave CS as a popular and well known example, as scripts and hacks exist there too (Although Aimbot and Wallhack are indeed more impactful, you can't claim that your listed modules are not harmful *because* worse exists: https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Not_as_bad_as ), and the users are frequently banned and denounced by the community, something that doesn't happen in Tera sadly.

I'll tell you what it does btw: It gives advantages to the user that normal players can't replicate without it. It's literally the same kind of garbage as aimbotting/wallhacking in Counter Strike.

^ Not hard to roll your face on your keyboard with a broken class and get kills, tbh. And yes, that's exactly the source of salt, because bad players with 0 effort get carried by class(/gear) and rek the better players with weaker classes.

^ Rip old Tera. Before everyone was running around in slutty swimsuits, dresses, w/e while driving police cars or riding flying rainbow llamas, this game used to have a serious theme.
The best armors ever made in this game are still Visionmaker, from 2012. Newest armor released was Wonderholme set in 2013 btw.
A legacy server like in WoW would be nice, but I guess kawaii elin pantsus and kawaii rainbow clouds sell too well in Korea to even consider that ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You'll have to install the American client from http://tera.enmasse.com . Make an account there and download from there. Note that Enmasse is NA and Gameforge is EU publisher.
Don't do it via steam if you are from EU, as steam will always show you the version of your region. -

That might not be skill prediction, but it's still probably a proxy. My guess would be the GM Panel, because he teleports around the map.
Btw Zorex implies they don't care if you proxy, because he didn't get banned, he forgets he has immunity because GF loves him for fixing major vulnerability issues (Infinite TT exploit & Server crashes). This doesn't mean they will tolerate others using it.
Some players use skill prediction for the moongourd experience, anyone high ranked most likely uses proxy. Taking this away would only negatively impact the pve community lol.
This would be the "Gameover mass quit" equivalent of 2018 Tera. Imagine this shit, people becoming outraged because hacks are being cracked down
