I don't see how was that deserved, knowing the fact that this thread is 15 pages long and contains all the proxy related stuff you might have put into your signature. And your avatar was not that bad. As long as it didn't contain pornographic or gore/disgusting content, it's fine by the ToS and common sense. Probably just entered Zancara's safe space and he triggered into an (avatar) banning.

My avatar was removed, Zancara ofc permanently banned me from using avatars, without any warning.

PvP kinda dead, there's daily battlegrounds "event" for a few hours in a SPECIFIC battleground, CS, FWC, Gridiron is alive in those times, 3v3 is super fkin dead, even in event hours.
Open world is killed by awakening.

Besides, to gear up, you are forced to do PvE anyway, unless you pay real cash. So you'll have to learn the PvE endgame and spam them (yes spam, I done all essence dungeons one day, twice each, I got 0 essences, seems good).

It gets more and more P2W every patch. It's been discussed in multiple threads before, for example: Returning player ... is this game still p2w?

tl;dr: If you are a non-payer, you have to grind for 2-3 months to get the same endgame gear as someone can get in 1 card swipe.

Many games use it for years, including Black Desert Online, which is 1000 times bigger than Tera.
Call of Duty games used Punkbuster (similar to Xigncode) since like 2000, guess what, no one got their bank info etc stolen by them xDDDD

Your best bet would be asking someone who plays KTera. Gameforge won't/can't tell you a thing.

I talked to Loriri about the mana charge issue in battlegrounds, he said KTera fixed it in 2 weeks, but we'll probably get the fix with the next dungeon patch only. So I'd assume the same goes for the glyph, IF it's fixed in Ktera.

How would I be able to tell that EU is more p2w than NA... I don't play on multiple regions.

And yes, both NA and EU Tera, and the majority of the games on the market are p2w.
As long as you get ANY advantage paying as a non-payer, it is a pay 2 win game. Period.

Selling costumes was a way of p2w since 2012-2013, it just got "worse" as in you can get way more advantage via paying these days.

Personal experience is that it's not worth trying to look for any content (high chances you won't find anyone) in the mornings, early afternoon, or after midnight.

Short answer: Nope.
Long answer: Not as you'd (and others) wish. There's a specific BG on "jackpot" each day for a few hours, so you might (huge emphasis on might: https://i.imgur.com/yNB2nUP.png) get matched in those hours, otherwise it's largely futile to try to get into any BG.

Yes it is, you can swipe your credit card and get BiS instantly, or you can grind your life away (speaking of 1month+ grind from scratch each patch not including dragons, underwear, etc.), up to you.
It is definitely P2W, no denying. Those who disagree should take a look at the definition of P2W.

OP clearly stated his issue is related to the stuff set in s1options.ini, which btw makes no sense to me - that file gets generated with default settings from scratch when he first launches the game (or launches after deleting it).

Maybe he made it read-only BEFORE making changes in-game? Or messed with the file content manually before and the game can't recognize it properly?

The glyphs, skillbars, ui settings etc are all stored on Tera servers, and if those reset that's the server's fault (or maybe proxy's ? )

What's left of it... Salt Unrest, BGs in jackpot hours (short times and only 1-2 BG lul). Even there, instead of being good sport I just see "X is from Y guild, shit player kys" even without knowing said player personally or anything.

If someone is a bad player in Tera, they'll always trashtalk someone better than them, this makes them 1) Feel better 2) Make others (mostly other baddies/retards) actually believe that said player is not good and will hop on the hate train.

That's just what I observed lately. Years ago PvP was different, it was actual content, nowadays just a bunch of tards being loud/toxic with each other.
