I hope you are joking. I have been running the verify since lunchtime and it stands at 11% complete with an estimated 24 hours to go. So if I have to wait that long for it to verify and then have to download a 50GB patch it'll take weeks. Thing is this thing is not only checking all the files, it must be altering files and removing. The download speed is so slow compared to everything else I use. Been like it for months now and nothing like ever gets done about it. I've tried everything. I think this time it finally collapsed. I can't see me playing this anymore.

I am guessing the repair that is going on right now is the patch downloading. It doesn't tell me anything other than its going to take over 24 hours. I have been running for over an hour now and it still stamds at 3%. That means it will take 33 hours to download unless it speeds up. Sadly I can't leave my computer running for this length of time and I need it for other things. Other downloads for games and such don't take this long and certainly many have options for being able to play before the patch is fully downloaded. Also was there no way to background download parts of this before hand. On Warcraft we get the patch downloading a good month before the game goes live. The speed is very slow cus it seems to be going through a repair and install checking all files. It just says it is verifying at the moment and not installing anything. My download speed is 865KB/s. [ probably take 15 hours minimum ]

Update: Two hours and just 4%. This is crazy. Never mind, I've had to switch it off.

I dunno why they don't reactivate the 1 to 60 game regions properly and scale mobs to characters levels so there was a different way to 70 from 65 than the really dull boring path that currently exists. They could then go further and add more end game content using the existing zones and mobs. [ not dungeons ]. The game still has some very rich environments that are not used. When you level 65 to 70 it really pushes you into dungeons given that the world content is just so bad. If you like levelling zones in Tera there seems to be little choice other than to delete your char and start over.

I love Tera but seriously have great issue with the so called 65 to 70 content. So if the developers don't have the resources to create new stuff just scale mobs to characters and let us go fight in the older zones to get our XP. The path to 70 in this game levelling dries up as you complete Exodor. Also Exodor is a quite dreadful region. And if we were scaled we could enjoy maybe playing with other players coming up through the levels.

Maybe they could make all the BAMs hard again like they were in the beginning.

The area prior to where Elleon dies is so well made and yet there is but a sprinkling of mobs. It is just crying out for more detail. Feels like that all the way through Exodor. I do hope they can make more of this enemy cus I like very much the style of the mobs. Just makes me want to go deeper into the fortress.

Lumikan is a real star and this game so needs some new deeper content. At the moment it feels they have done much of the legwork on the creation of the theme and styles but need the actual game content to fill the spaces.

Fingers crossed it's not just a dungeon.

I have now completed the Exodor story line twice this past week just to enjoy yet again the Draakons and particularly Lumikan. Strikes me that the game could benefit greatly from using these characters and their leader. I have found very few images of Lumikan and her domain. The whole fortress area I find quite interesting and would love to play as a Draakon.

Anyway, maybe I have come late to the party and there are already numerous further appearances of the lovely Lumikan. If so can you point me to where she appears and or more detail on the race and particualrly the artwork and appearance.

I'm still confused why they appear to crouch and meditate at times. Would love to learn more.

The fact that Kalligar and Lumikan didn't die suggests that they are likely to be dungeon bosses, if not already. Is that the case.

Thanks for that. I will certainly give it a try. Reminds me of my early days when I could never update the game.

Each and every week after maintenance I have to repair my installation. This takes anything up to an hour. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem.

Kinda get the feeling that the server was running on a reboot sequence each time it crashed as you could get back in after a few minutes before. This last one though looks a touch more serious as its basically trashed all my chars and ether lets me in with zero playable activity or refuses to let me select characters. Just gotta hope they haven't trashed any data. Probably nobody even working on anything sadly. We certainly don't get any notifications on the forums about problems.

I keep trying to get in every 15 minutes or so but I guess its time to give up.

I can log into certain characters but not all. I then have no HP or Mana and no NPCs or other players. Just chat works. If I go to my second page of players I get no response from PLAY and then I can't access any of my other characters or items on the interface.

It appears broken truly this time and been over an hour so I guess I play something else.

Since the latest crash I can get to one of my characters in the selection screen but the play doesn't work. Earlier I managed about five minutes again before it went pop. The thing seems to be on its last legs.

Update: This is getting bonkers. I was able to log in with one of my chars and finished up in Highwatch all on my own. No NPCs or players. My heath was zero and mana says NaN%. So I log to characters but can select any other character to play. Some kind of server failure notice would be very helpful right now. So I don't waste my time trying to play this thing.

Server not available.... I watched as my character just ran and ran and ran and ran and ran and ran and ran and ran and ran and ran and ran and ran. So funny.

So I log today for some spirited questing and suddenly realise that each and every mob I hit loses their HP to say 1% and then wont die. So I move to next mob and same. Pretty soon I have like a whole area of static mobs all at 1% health but wont die. Then I notice my mana will not replenish no matter what I do. And then this white rabbit runs across the screen saying I'm late... So I follow it down this rabbit hole and finish up back where I started in Tera 2012. This time there is a sign that says....' Be afraid.. Very afraid' and a flashing stop sign. Must have missed that first time around. Server crashed... it was just a dream.

Seriously guys if you can't keep the servers up then just put the thing out of its mysery. I can appreciate its the only way you can make money right now, but you are hurting the ones you need. Not good.

I left the game alone for a day cus I just got so frustrated with the crashes. Just logged in and managed five minutes and it went down and now not available.

Dunno what to say.

Trying again to get into the game and I get as far as the server list and it stops there. I refresh the list and there are no servers available. Just some idea as to the problems would help.

Never mind.

Just moved away from the computer for a few moments and came back and the thing is down again. Its like happening all the time. Chat is still active and you can tell that players are just making fun of the game now. Feels like they have real big problems. Sadly they just have no desire to discuss this with players. I mean this is like happening every few minutes now. Its not worth playing.

Second day of server issues. Just got disconnected again and then no server choices. Then I clicked server and got the ring of death. Restart now I have server options but nothing happens.

Update... the list of servers have now vanished again.

And now the server has crashed again.

I was like at this critical moment on Exodor and got disconnected. Server is now not available. Hopefully come back soon. Anybody know why ?

I asked in game and all I got was a load of sarcastic comments. There was no constructive advice and the discussion degenerated into some argument regarding ERP.

I then googled and couldn't find any information dating from 2020. The patch notes were useless. The fanbase basically had stuck a line through a quest without any explanation on what was needed to do.

I have levelled to 70 previously doing daily quests and only recently took all of my 8 chars through Tria and Tralion base quest line and the Apex and Awakening quests. This char I am trying today hasn't been played for a while but I had been playing the daily quests for some time being advanced at level 66. But it was a grind.

So I see the Purple question mark in Sienna and do the quest which took me up to 80% complete on 66. I do a calc on the now given quest which is kill 100 things and I calculate that that is 2500 mobs to kill. Trust me I have killed these things endlessly from my previous time here and that will take an eternity and that is just one level.

I then decide to do the dungeon on my own solo and that gave no return or hardly. I then pick up fishing which I had been trained through and have the first four quests complete and find I can no longer do fishing till 67. Again I found nothing online about this ... I just get a comment when trying to use bait that I am not high enough level. But the game still gives you a quest to go do fishing and teleports. Would it not have been better to disable the quest.

I asked in the area about the fishing but got no response. I asked in global and was told I couldn't fish till 67.

So I have a 66 character that can either kill 2500 mobs in Sienna or do 1600 dungeons just so I can fish at 67.

I came back for a little light fun having a blast doing the daily quests. They no longer exist.

I could blame this game for a lot of things given that I have put a lot of hours in over the many years I have been playing from launch. Each time I return something else gets clobbered. I really struggle to find anything to do in game. I like Tera but its so difficult keeping up and trust me there is NO information on Google. It is all out of date and the game doesn't guide or advise at all.

Anyway... not to worry. I did the maths on what I would need to grind and I just logged out. This game has really zero fun anymore. Its a grind beyond any that I have ever experienced in any game. I use the term loosly cus a game should be fun. I really have no idea what this game is anymore... cus it aint been fun for such a long time.

Level 66 and just logged after a month or so and I have no daily quests in Tria Tralion etc. I logged into my other characters and again none of these have any daily quests. Is this a bug ... should I report the matter as I now have nothing to do in the game.

PS There are no quest markers on the map other than a Level 53, 63 and 60 which was stuff I did yonks ago. Nothing at all in the 65-70 zones.

Seems they got rid of daily quests in favour of setting you a challenge to kill a 100 things in each area or say do Akasha's Trial etc over and over. I just did a quick calc and to level from 66 to 67 I would need to do Akasha's Trial 1600 times. Sorry but there just aint any game here for a returning player. I have no idea why anyone would play this. Never mind I'll go back to what I was doing. Shame cus this game did use to be fun. It just seems pretty pointless now.

I sorted it out. Thing is I havn't played in a while and they have changed everything again. I normally play Mystic and originally we could grind the iLevel to do Apex. Then they made a quest chain to get the iLevel and now you get gifted the gear at the banquet. I didn't know that so my stuff was sitting in the boxes and I was trying to fight with lower level gear. Once I got the gear I was OK with the mob fighting. They have nerfed the final stage anyway and you don't take any damage now.

I just wish when translating they would state the obvious and not use words that mean other things. If they had just said that in doing a series of attacks the Fusion button becomes available then it would have made sense or have it chained to the space bar or something with a notification when it becomes available.

I levelled one of my other Sorcerers tonight through the Apex and it went without a hitch. So I'm good . Many thanks and onward.

PS I have another Mystic on 65 having to grind the whole level cus I had already done the Tralion opening quest and left it at that. Now when you level a character that hasn't done the opening quest you get zonked through the whole level 65 in one quest. Shame the next four levels are not like that. It took me months to level my first char to 70. Was so painful I gave up playing last September. Fingers crossed its easier now.

Silly questions but seriously I am stumped.

Where are the buttons/icons for Prima Flame, Arcane Storm and Iceberg plus Elemental Fusion.

The Tooltip also refers to a Fusion Meter... Where is that located?

When I battle I hit a red and a blue say ... but then what ? The mob just eats me for dinner every time.

I am kinda lost and sadly there are loads of videos on YouTube but nobody actually explains how these new skills work. And the Tooltip doesn't say anything other than by using a combination of skills you activate these three other skills. But I have no buttons for these other skills. How do I get them? What button do I press to get them. And how do I know if the meter is full ?

By the way I have tried hitting the Level 65 mobs with everything I have and I am like doing no damage at all.

Is there a guide somewhere that explains all.

Trying to do quest and mobs were taking no damage and just hung around. The main boss was locked in position. My spells cast and left swirling frost all over the place and spinning grey. Then the mobs just died one at a time with me doing nothing. Then I was given the reward for doing the quest but main mob still up. I ran to next location. Attacked. Couldn't kill anything. They just stood there. I was fighting dragon and it was like some comedy as I was firing and he was running somewhere else, I missed him and he took no damage. I kept trying. It was like he wasn't even on my page. Then I was given the quest reward and he only then died. But I hadn't hit him with anything. I then went to the guy that gives me the next quest , Apex, and he is in the air and static. So I try to go to the portal thing and just flash across the ground stuttering. I get to the portal, I vanish but don't go anywhere. And the screen locks up. I then reload and get stuck at the login screen and get disconnected and now refresh and no servers. And I have no idea where my character went.

And sorry, but its been happening all week. Its just been so funny. But kinda sad I guess.
