I actually enjoy the battle arena, it is real fun, especially with a group of people you know. But most people won't care about the BA because you get no rewards for it, other than just a few of the new currency coins that allow you to buy heroes/crystals. If it was a battleground more people would indeed queue for it, especially if it gave rewards for your normal Tera account.
Not even out for a week and already a dead gamemode... at "peak times" in the afternoon... it's so sad because I actually think it has potential..

Well its on their official discord so its most likely true and a new class/race will come to tera next year probably. But only for consles which is a joke imo... with a new class I have at least something to do in tera nowadays.

I know that its sarcasm but this new select screen looks horrible tbh. I prefer the old one where my characters walk, its rathe runique imo. The new one looks so weird, everyone's standing on a floating platform? meh.

I like coming back to tera when there is new classes. It's exciting for me at least. I'm more a casual player and don't care about having the best gear at endgame, I just want to have fun and experience the game. But now I can't even do that because of their stupid decision to make console exclusive classes.
On the official Tera console discord (https://discord.gg/teraconsole) there is a community contest to design a new class and race for Tera.
The only problem I have is that it is console exclusive! What the actual... Why even spend so much effort creating a new class and race and then make it console exclusive? That doesn't make sense to me at all and is just disrespectful to all PC players.
They say: "Add your idea to this channel, as detailed as possible, illustrations are welcome to be added, with information on the Race or Class, or both, that you'd like to see created for TERA Console." I put a picture of the entire post of their discord below.
I have been waiting so long for a new class and now they are finally making one together with a new race and I won't even be able to play it because I'm an OG player that has played Tera since its release on PC? I'm so done with this game if this becomes true...
To get to the point where you have fun takes a lot of time, because lvling is way too fast for a beginner to enjoy the combat and once you hit max lv you have to grind for weeks to get to the real endgame with 90% of the active playerbase.
If someone asks me "is it worth giving a shot" I'd say NO, even when it's free there are more enjoyable ways to waste your free time.
Personally, I like leveling in TERA a lot. You don't have to rush it by only doing dungeons and using exp potions. I enjoy doing side quests, upgrading my low-level gear, doing achievements, etc. Later I like to save up for some fancy pets/mounts and enjoy the endgame when I upgrade my gear, finish the story quests, farm materials and scrolls, level up to 70, etc. There's quite a lot to do.
your comment doesn't make sense to me either , this is not a moba/overwatch game were you open it for 1-2 hours check whats up and judge , thats mmorpg you need alot of hours doing content so you get idea , thats why its better asking before trying , there is video about lvling in tera by lazypeon saying how lvling is chore fest and too slow unless you pay sub
I mean the question whether a game is worth picking up is subjective. Someone might enjoy playing tera a lot, even casually while others don't. You should just try it out and see, it's free anyway.

If you have fun playing tera, yeah, go for it.
If you do not have fun, leave it and look for something else.
Tera is not a "job" or a "chore", it should be fun. So the question whether there is any point in playing it now is up to the individual.
Wait people complain about it? Just do 1 or 2 Dungeons and you get way more gold than legit fishing. Sry there was a time fishing didnt exist and people still got somehow gold. QQ i upgraded my Rod and whiskers ..... You know the main reason for fishing and rods upgrades is for achievement and gold sink. Why do you think the last rod cost 100 Diamonds. Also the other reason for finishing is fish filet ... to CRAFT your buff food ofc this isn't worth anymore since Elleons Token makes buff food crafting useless.
Yup so much this. Even selling fish bufffood is useless because of the tokens. Really badly thought out changes overall that killed a fun aspect of the game I literally got into a week ago... Well.

- make the fish ONLY SALABLE to the Association Fishmonger
- make the fish UNSALABLE to all the others merchants
- make the fish filet/kirash filet UNSALABLE to all the merchants
And JUST LIKE THAT, people who are fish-boting have it in the a**, people who are legit-fishing are not injured, AND rope/bait/design/pet/etc. re-find their usefulness.

That's what's my problem is! I am a legit fisher and it got absolutely useless now. Your suggestion would help the "normal" fishers and punish BOTs.
What happened??
I literally just started fishing one week ago and it is super fun. I upgraded and bought whiskers to tier 3 and now all of a sudden fishing is completely useless because you can't make any money out of it anymore? HOW is that a good move? I don't think it's fair that legit players like me get screwed over because they are incapable of dealing with bots? Fishing isn't even the best way of getting money in this game.
That change is just insane to me. Also, I never experienced any lag due to bots or fishers whatsoever.

When I open my quest tap and look through my daily quests none of them gives the scrolls though 
where are the quests that give them?

Hey, I need skill optimization scrolls I for my level 67 advanced skills.
I can never find any groups for veliks sanctuary so the other way of getting them is through daily quests but where are they? I found some quests in the isolation camp in Sienna Canyon that gave those items and now I finished all but I only got 60.
How am I supposed to get more?
