This is such a shame. I have thousands of hours spent in this game and it will be all lost. Tera was such a great game with lots of potential and it was really unique but it got worse over the years.
This is a prime example of bad developers and publishers not listening to the community, slowly ruining the game with stupid decisions and greed.
I left tera again and have been playing guild wars 2 since they have released a new expansion last week and I gotta say I don't miss tera especially in its current state.
GW2 does it right, they NEVER devaluate your gear, even after a 3 year break my gear is still up to date, I just need to get better with mechanics, class rotation, unlock my new skills and putting together a build. That game respects a player's time! And it's casual friendly while still challenging in raids. and other modes.
As someone who doesn't play TERA actively anymore I was actually looking forward to Wintera so I can enjoy this fun mode and potentially come back to TERA but no. It's laughable that you just straight up cancel the only winter event you have.
I get that TERA has a severe lack of content but now we don't even have event content anymore lol what has this game become..

The fact the normal rewards are useless items is already an insult, having to gaccha for the items you want on extra reward is stupid and what is worst is the PRICE. They are insanely costly considering the amount of shit they give and taking in consideration the amount of elleon marks we get on dungeons. They didn't introduced a solution, they made a stupid gaccha mechanic to trick idiots.

Considering you get 1 Lumikan's Wing Fragment from Catalepticon and the box can drop 5 pieces at once makes it pretty good imo.
I just noticed that Elleon's Marks of Valor have new boxes that can drop improves weapon and armor feedstocks (30 marks per box) and another box that can drop Lumikan's wing and horn fragments required to upgrade kaias soul gear (100 marks per box).
I bought a few chests and it's actually quite effective. I got 15 Lumikan's wing fragments out of 6 chests and lots of gear protectors. I got 6 improved weapon feedstock out of 8 chests (no armor feedstock, was unlucky).
It's definitely a really good option to go for those boxes and they make the marks actually a lot more useful.
Nope, the chances are horrible, is far from 66%, you were just lucky. All 3 ace dungeons + celestial arena has a terrible drop per energy usage when compared to any dungeon. Even doing them just bc is faster i dont think its worth since the drop is so low. Pit and echoes are even worse...
Yeah I think I was just lucky with my first few tries. Not the chance dropped to around 40% I'd say. Sorry for the misinformation!
Yeah they should totally change that to improved ones. Battle passes have always been really bad in terms of rewards in my opinion, they have to increase the incentive to complete them.
Also, I don't get how the end-reward of the battle pass is a time limited item? I mean you get a cool potion you can use for 30 days but after that it's gone? That doesn't seem very appealing to me.
If you're playing on NA servers, the double drop for Ace dungeons is not working there. I tested it both on Velik and Mystel.
Oh, I didn't know that! I'm playing on EU, maybe that's why I noticed a considerable increase in loot?
Not sure why you're lying about that its drop pretty often or has a 66% chance to drop - when in reality its maybe at best like 5-10% chance but yeah - its at least somewhat useful if you have nothing else to run anymore.
Maybe I was just lucky? I constantly got feedstocks. Well, since today there is double loot chances for ace dungeons so that's even better!
i would say you are pretty lucky, i did 6 runs and got nothing but xp scrolls ...

With today's maintenance ace dungeons also have double loot! So you get double the chance to get good loot. Good luck!
I was surprised when I found out that ace dungeons can drop improved dark shard feedstocks now. There wasn't any patchnotes about it.
It's really nice because doing Lilith literally takes 2 seconds and you can do it 3 times per day. It has a pretty high chance to drop feedstocks (about 66% I'd say). Same with other ace dungeons.
I'm doing Lilith and the arena every day now and maybe some other ace dungeons when normal dungeon queues won't pop up.
It's an easy way to farm gold or feedstocks if you need them to enchant your weapons.
EDIT: There is a double loop event going on so your chance of getting good loot is doubles even in ace dungeons, ghillie, etc!
Damn, Mystel was down so often this week. And somehow whenever I'm at the endboss of a dungeon it happens and everyone gets disconnected ._.
I hope we can maybe get a compensation for it, some items like improved dark shard feedstocks, everyone needs them now anyway. That would actually show that gameforge cares and apologizes for their bad patch.
I deeply wish the original PK would come back... It was so fun leveling up and killing players 5 levels above me.
I agree with you on sorcerers. Elins have very smooth meteor strike during mana boost and nova is pretty fast, every other skill is pretty much the same as other races.

TBA should just be a new game mode for normal tera so you can queue with your normal account and characters and then select the heroes you want to play as. Right not it literally gives you zero rewards or incentive to play it. Also, it's really unbalanced, my team won 4 times in a row with some cheesy Braga + Fraya + Fire mage combo. But that was 3 weeks ago when you could still find queues.

You can play them for free. Every hero can be played for free but they are on a rotation so only some are available but still.
So they released 3 new heroes and I was excited to play some games again because I thought people will get excited and play the battle arena more.
But no, nobody plays this gamemode, even with 3 new heroes added... 30 min+ queue and then I gave up.
I just started playing Tera about 2 weeks ago and I managed to grind story quests and reached level 65 recently. Now I don’t know what to do because I didn’t do any crafting and I don’t have much gold. I don’t do much damage compared to everyone else who’s level 65 I’m pretty sure it’s because my crit power is so low. I just need someone who can get on discord or Xbox and help me out a lil bit.
Go to your quest log and do the purple quests. Those quests will guide you to level 70 and give you good armor, then just do dungeons to get even better gear and check out your class' discord for guides and improve your build and character even further.

Why even make a new class or even brand new race if you don't allow PC players to play them as well? I will definitely quit TERA once and for all if that happens because that's just a big "F YOU" to the PC playerbase and doens't make sense at all. Doesn't bluehole want costumers to be satisfied and buy new cosmetics, etc for their new class?
I know right... An absolute joke. HOW can they make a new class and keep it only for consoles while PC players beg for new content?
