What does having played the game "one day" have to do with being impolite? xD stop sweating so much after someone getting calling out for being -edited by Melione- , no need to start a moral discussion here.
No "real" player that just started out the first day already goes to the forum to play the "Moral superior" person - you're not fooling anyone and you're just a coward for hiding behind a fake account to try to provoke other users.

Dude, how about you shut up? Like you have anything else to do right? This stuff happens all the time on every game. Be glad you get to play their game at all.
People "supported" the game with their money, they have all the rights to complain as the server is effectively the "service" they paid for.

Don't get me wrong I'd much prefer having a more appropriate solution(Like, duh, decent loot in dungeons), than having to make an alt just to make use of the otherwise useless scout armor feedstock).
As a side note.... if a new player "accidentally" discards his scout gear set before lv.68 what exactly he is supposed to do? game used to have starter gear in the vanguard merchant for a few credits but now there's no way to get any lv.65/67 gear for a new player.

36k is almost free, just 3 characters of guardians. and as the guy above said, HO is useful, meanwhile the new free gear is useless already at lvl 68.

I made a character yesterday since none of my current alts can get the stupid exodor gear.
Then I took all that USELESS scout gear feedstock I got from MC runs and I did this ->
How much it costed me? about 3,5k gold, and then, I dismantled it and got 40 Dark Shard armor feedstocks(that's LESS than 100 gold per feedstock), multiple that for 4 pieces a new player get 120 armor feedstocks and 40 weapon feedstocks which greatly helps enchanting their lv.68/69 gear.
So I wouldn't mind having that scout gear at least I could make use of that otherwise useless scout gear feedstock, but whatever, I guess a new player needs it more than I do.
TL;DR
Make an alt to 65 (few hours) - 160+ dark feedstocks (assuming you have enough scout gear feedstocks)

however you can upgrade your twistshard/frostmetal/stormcry all the way up to HO+0 for very cheap
1k gold per enchant per piece x 9 enchants x 4 pieces = 36k gold for equip new players get for free.

The 4 lowest lv.65+ dungeons that are left are:
Velik's Hold
Red Refuge
Mac. Catacombs
RK-9 NM
After that there is Antaroth Abyss(HM) and higher dungeons.
Basically a new player have only 4 dungeons to do before stepping into endgame-like-difficulty territory.
Brilliant game design as usual.

Someone explain me how a "new" player can even do hard mode if you take away "training mode" (aka normal mode).
Already now I find many times people in HM with no clue about NM mechs yet they think going straight to HM is a good idea (200 IQ people) but now what I am supposed to tell em? "Go back to normal mode and " --- oh wait, there's no normal mode anymore rip).
Stupid developers as usual.

With this world-wide quarantine I've seen quite a few new blood around, I wonder if they'll stick to Tera even after the quarantine :v

Well for older players that's not an issue as I bet most veterans have no less than 12 alts (or at least slots).
For new players...meh.

They gave us coin saying that this way we could run our favourite dungeons as munch as we liked, and now we get even less entries than we had before coin update.

Pretty sure these are rewards from the buddy up system - get someone to level 65 using your buddy up code and you should get the yellow sleeping tiger thing (he will get the black one I think).
If you wanna the black one, the only way I know is again with buddy up system (but you're the one having to use the code instead) - which means you'd have to not log into your account for 30+ days to have this possibility. -
Close the launcher and open it again.
If you click"Repair" it will just re-download 50GB+ of stuff for nothing, you can skip this stupid waste of your time by just closing and re-opening the client, the game should update normally and play as well, no need for"Repair".
