    Dragon Scales can be obtained from tier 4 and 5 dungeons[1] as Vanguard rewards - 1 per quest. Certain battlegrounds - Corsairs' and Fraywind[2] - also give a Scale - 1 per Vanguard quest. And there's the tiresome IoD BAM farm[3] as well.
    You also get Scales from Harrowhold but it's a waste of time if done via LFG. There was that poor BAM hunting "event" which was also giving Scales in bulk.


    All in all, unless the only thing one does is IoD BAMs, then a free permanent 1.5 crit passive dragon will eventually be earned within a reasonable period of time without much extra effort by doing a variety of in-game activities, including 1. PvE group activities, 2. PvP group activities, as well 3. PvE solo activities. In the meantime the weekend Astral Gifts event gives a 4-8-day dragon, which becomes useless once you've earned a permanent one but no-one to tell that to, as @Atmorph and @Athena don't care.

    In über 40 "Event" -Läufen (25+ als Mystiker, wo ich nur Säulen mache, als Priester ruhen, wo jeder 1+ Säule macht), hatte ich keinen Fall, in dem richtig getimte Säulen zu einem Abwischen führen würden. Nicht ein einziges Mal.


    Die einzigen Bugs, die ich gesehen habe, sind Volley of Curses, die nicht mehr als 2 Ziele (Boss + 1 Säule) einschließen, obwohl der Skill standardmäßig 4 Ziele abschließen kann. Mein Fadenkreuz zu schütteln und auf die betroffene Säule zuzugehen scheint das zu "reparieren".
    Die andere Sache - Chef wiederholt den Fluch, obwohl er es gerade 2 Leuten gegeben hat und niemand ist gestorben. Du weißt, dass er es nach einer anderen regulären Combo wiederholen wird, wenn er nicht die AoEs macht.


    Übrigens, ein Trick, den jemand vielleicht nicht kennt, der dem Heiler hilft, während er den Boss 3-Mann macht (benötigt mindestens 1 tote Person, haha), ist es, den Boss in der Nähe einer toten Person zu bekämpfen. Heiler muss Auferstehung auf sie werfen und sie müssen ihre Akzeptanz mit dem Moment übereinstimmen, in dem der Boss seinen Fluch abgibt. Es gibt ein 2-3-Sekunden-Fenster dafür, also muss das Timing genau sein.


    The glyphs, skillbars, ui settings etc are all stored on Tera servers, and if those reset that's the server's fault (or maybe proxy's ? :) )

    I've had a UI reset a couple of times over the years before I even knew what this proxy thing was, so no, it's not related.
    Also, it was possible to lose your glyphs if switching while mounted on a flying mount.
    As for OP - like I said, settings that are stored locally can't just reset if the file is set to read-only.

    Since those files are responsible for these options, I would double check if you changed the correct file to read-only. Can you check that file's last modification date? Maybe it gets deleted for some reason.

    Settings stored locally in S1Options.ini are not really a problem - if the file is marked as read-only, one doesn't even need a back-up. Problem is with UI settings, skillbars and glyph setups - when those reset, you've no way of restoring them but rearranging them again.

    Good idea though but requires teleporting and getting from the dock to the Peg platform. One might as well just take the whole journey between Cutthroat and Castanica or Tria and Scythera etc for sightseeing's sake.

    As for dismantling - you gotta consider how much space you have in your inventory. Also, there seems to be a limit of dismantling up to 1 badge at a time which amounts to 14,400 emblems, or 100 mwa in your case.

    Does it get stuck at the very last step when you confirm your payment? Do keep an eye on your bank card or whatever payment method you're using, as these transactions could've actually gone through. And we all know Billing Support are even more useless than Game Support who kao što je rekao gospodin Zazr don't do their hard intellectual job during the weekend.


    As also suggested by the above mentioned gentleman, you could ask someone (anyone, really) to buy you a voucher and you simply pay them with gold. Then, once your payment issue has been resolved, you can sell some TT to make up for your gold losses.

    There's a known solution for the DirectX issue for Windows 10 users - disabling fullscreen optimisation. I even first saw it in a German thread.

    As for the RAM issue, you could try activating or increasing your page file (i.e. virtual memory) and see if this helps.
    Someone told me 7 months ago that the "bcdedit /set IncreaseUserVa 3072" command helped him. It's worth a try. In case you get performance issues with your computer, just undo this setting with "bcdedit /deletevalue IncreaseUserVa".

    You should know it's not normal to get these errors on a regular basis, and if you do get them, then there's a problem with your system. My computer has just 8 GB of RAM (2x4 GB), with an Intel i5 4440 CPU and GTX750Ti GPU and it's safe to say there are days when I don't crash even once.

    An online friend was talking to me, thinking about joining Tera EU -- turns out he's located in Russia.
    Now, I remember there being Tera IP blocks for some regions, years back... do those affect Russia?

    If he doesn't want to play on Tera RU, he can try playing here with you by using a VPN that isn't blocked by Gameforge. Some VPNs lead to an instant account block, often temporary - up to 24 or 48 hours.


    WTFast is somewhat formally allowed to use. Rest are not guaranteed to work. A lad from Israel was having trouble starting the game - Problem with launcher .... He was using a VPN client and had no problem logging in. His issue was with his home network. Anyway, point is not every VPN leads to a block.

    It is still possible that your PC got indeed blocked while your laptop isn't. I've had this once with a mate I asked to log me in for a day, then two, then three... For almost a week, as I didn't know how long I'd be away. At some point my PC got locked out while he could still log into my account. lmao Had to message Support to unblock me.

    The forum is the only place I can access successfully for the time being.

Don't you worry - there's an unwritten rule for that: "If you can't access your account, you count as banned, therefore you're not allowed to say a word on this forum."     Joke aside, it is indeed pointless to seek help here. Moderators only care about protecting scammers and hackers. They don't care about players problems - they tell you to contact Support even though you may have written you already have. lol In this case they tell you to do it again because they can't help you and because they can't help you they assume everyone is as incompetent and uninterested in helping as they are. There is a support section for players to seek help from others players. But noooooooooooo, as far as moderators are concerned, they are the only players on this forum. And instead of trying to help by letting others help, they tell you to go to third-party websites where you get exposed to malicious content etc. Just pathetic...


    I successfully entered it in on the site, but when I tried to log into the game using the launcher, it told me my account was blocked. I tried to access the site afterwards, and it said that "An error occurred. try again later".

    How long between your last website visit and your launcher login attempt? Have you forgotten some VPN add-on active, maybe changed Internet connections, or got your IP changed due to having a dynamic IP which sometimes is known to cause issues with account access? It is indeed possible someone tried to log into your account from a different location - it could've been you but system couldn't have known that. Support will be able to tell you what triggered the block.


    What Racial is trying to say about changing passwords is that you need to register on the Support website separately if you, in 5 years, have never done it before. You can also just use your Steam profile to log into that system but you won't be able to see your past tickets if you had any at all. You need to link your regular Support account to your Steam profile before you can see your ticket history - just like you link your regular game account to your Steam profile if you want to log in via Steam.


    As for the 'an unexpected error' error - there are a few reasons for that, including having your account blocked, unless you meanwhile did some hosts file changes or blocked Tera in any other way (Win Defender, some firewall-capable software etc). It's weird to hear that a browser change could help with that - if this was the case, then something in one's browser add-ons or settings was causing the issue. In any case, don't attempt to log into your account for 48 hours or until Support have told you they've unflagged your account as blocked, whichever comes first. Often they tell you it's OK but in fact it's not, so you have to message them back. It is usually then when they finally do it properly with or without apologising about it. Why not try logging in? Because doing that supposedly resets the block countdown.


    Have you tried resetting the block by using a different Internet connection, such as your mobile phone connection? This is known to have dealt with this problem in the past. Same goes for the old account management but it's just luck based whether it works or not. Instead of making it easier for people to regain access to their often TC paying accounts, they keep making things worse, wasting players' time and money.

    I think you're missing the point of slaying - it's supposed to make your runs more challenging, not to lower their difficulty by increasing your damage for no risk to you. Unless that's what you're after - same rewards for less effort. This surely won't help shake off the feeling of boredom.

Ils sont partis maintenant, il est donc inutile de demander de l'aide sur le forum. Quoi qu'il en soit, ils l'ont écrit clairement il y a plusieurs mois:

    What about canceling Thrall of Protection with a movement skill? (you can't do it anymore, since the stupid mobility they added to spawning it) Or not cancelling Thrall of Wrath with Metamorphic Smite? (you can do it)
    Canceling Resurrection by moving (before the point of no return, obviously) is a feature because the skill doesn't go on cooldown - you interrupt it and can use it again right away. 'Cancelling' motes by making one step in any other direction is definitely not a feature because they go on cooldown without even activating the selfhealing glyph (if it's an HP mote).

    @Okakura Il n'y a pas de raison d'être offensant envers les autres utilisateurs du forum qui ont pris le temps de partager leur opinion. N'est-ce pas pourquoi vous avez écrit ici en premier lieu? Les gestionnaires de communauté paresseux ne se soucient plus des problèmes avec les personnages coincés, donc la seule chose que vous obtiendrez ici est le conseil et l'opinion des autres joueurs.


    Dans votre cas, naturellement, vous avez une réponse copiée-collée, alors ne pensez pas qu'ils se soucient de la configuration de votre ordinateur ou quoi que ce soit. Ils n'ont pas besoin de cette information pour ce que vous leur demandez de faire, mais cela fait partie de ce qu'ils demandent à tout le monde - c'est comme ça que le copier-coller fonctionne. Désolé @111313141.22 mais je n'ai pas pu m'empêcher de rire à l'idée que le Support soit 'assez réactif'.


    Comme il s'agit d'un moissonneur de niveau 57, vous auriez pu le supprimer et le refaire - cela vous aurait pris moins de temps que de traiter le support. Un jour au lieu d'un week-end entier + encore plus de temps pour échanger des messages.
    Évidemment, ce n'est pas possible avec un char L65. Dans ce cas, vous fournissez simplement à Support ce qu'il a demandé et ce qu'il a fait avec. Un membre de ma guilde, quand il reçoit un personnage coincé, réinstalle complètement le jeu. Il dit que cela fonctionne pour lui. Je ne conseille jamais aux gens de le faire, surtout quand une connexion plus lente ou limitée - il y a une fonction de réparation à tout le moins. Aussi, parfois le problème (si différent de cela) n'est pas avec les fichiers du jeu.


    Pour me prouver le contraire, vous pouvez envoyer un message @Nyoka et demander de l'aide. Il / elle ne vous demandera sûrement pas les informations de votre système.
