That is wrong. Each process has its own addressing space. So each can have up to 4 GB, which is why certain operating systems (especially older 32-bit Server OS systems) had Page Address Extension up to 128 GB of RAM.

The addressing is indeed 4 bytes each, but it is far more complicated than you think it is. This is not DOS era anymore. "Paging", or the paging file as you said, is an inherent function of modern CPUs (in fact, all 32-bit CPUs), each 4 KB block in memory has an associated page. This is both for security and for extendability. The famous "memory access violation" is only detected because of paging. The page file is just something Microsoft designed based around the entire paging memory system.

Basically, each process has its own virtual addressing space. They cannot interfere with another addressing space unless they share, which has security settings of course, and in case of bugs, it is caught as exception.

And btw the reason you see only 3.25GB is not because of motherboard most likely (unless it's a crappy one), but because of how Windows XP works. Most likely, your video card has around 512-1GB of VRAM, and Windows reserves addressing space for it

New BG wins will be about who has less low levels in the team. Doesn't matter they get same gear, their crystals will be garbage, their lack of skills (actual class skills) a huge disadvantage, and their experience even more so.

None of what you stated is gold injection except the 2500 from dailies+nexus quest. All else comes from other players. Trade Broker is NOT a gold injection, in fact it is a gold sink if you:

1) Don't have Club when you put items up for auction (earnest fee)
2) Buy out instantly without negotiating (10% gold sink).

Not a fan of random queues but gear difference would make it 100 times worse. There's already enough noobs skill-wise, don't need them in crap gear to make them even more useless. I'd like separate lv60 though, since the others won't have all skills making them kinda useless. But with gear hell no.

I couldn't care LESS if it was a technical issue -- on something time limited, I've wasted 2 weeks without it and didn't get what I was supposed to get? Without PROPER compensation, you should be sued. I know people who have been without the items (atlas included) for a month.

I'm so sick of crap support that never think of players and think fixing something is the solution when they players lost TIME (especially of a time limited service might I add!!) that they paid for.
