I like the idea but how are you going to implement this? E.g. if it is a 3 man dungeon, T+D+H will almost always be optimal. If you have 3 DDs, the boss will turn all the time, which is really annoying, because noone is holding aggro (no tank). And who is going to heal if you take damage? Or replenish mana? The classes are balanced around T/D/H combination, so it would be really hard to make a dungeon that can be run with different compositions.

How about reimplementing CW (channelworks) logic? It's 3 man, with additional dps, healer and tank depending on your needs, but the reimplemented logic should be working more like real player than just almost static AI with no buffs, serious dps or heals.

    Another thing that irrytates me:
Every server merge for many people there's requirement to remove some characters in terms them to match target amount, let's say 16.
If i had 18, geared characters with costumes that i have paid for, why im obligated to remove these characters with their stuff? Why you're asking people to create more alts with your events and then, when they're geared, you're forcing us to permamently delete them? Without any compensation for time spent lost, gold / real money for costumes, skins and so on?

    Hello there

I was thinking about writing two separate posts about dungeon (and related) feedback and overall feeling, but afterall they're both connected somehow.

We all know that so-called rotation is required in order to keep players actually playing, we all know that new gear is precious and everyone wants it in short - asap. It's nice that we get new dunegons from time to time (mostly with every patch) and with new dungeons there's almost always
somekind of new gear, that's nice and more than welcome, but... it's too easy to obtain - honestly.

"New" dungeons are like crap compared to content from past few years, they're mostly mix of bosses (with few exceptions - Bahahahahahahaar for example), they're like mix of 1-2, maybe 3 bosses from other (even currently live!) dungeons with 1 or 2 "new" special attacks and that's it, oh yeah and tweaked for current top gear so they're tanky and deals more damage overall.

Droprate from ekhm... "new" dungeons is worse than expected, and if you even drop stuff that you may (95% of drops is kinda "rare" only) it mostly has stats for very different class - ie. good luck with finding some clooth physical attack <3, to make things even harder there are 0-3 non rollable stats that also may contain (or not if 0  because RNG so much) some crap stats which makes stuf even more grind-required, but hey! What to grind? For now we've got like ONE dungeon which drops ekhm... "new" gear, and even if it does look what i've typed earlier. The same thing were with Alliances patch, where you had to farm dungeon in order to get accessories.

Overall feeling since past few years is worse with almost every patch. New dungeons aren't realy new, they seem like being created in hurry in order to provide players "new" content and keep as many players as possible, because their numbers are constantly lowering. Developer put Tera in 2nd, or maybe even 3rd place in terms of development new features, and the only reason we're getting new content is that we're still playing (and most of us paying by ie. by buying TC - buying those for gold means you're also paying, but the payment chain is a littlebit longer), so they want to get as much money as possible before they shout development forever,

To not be such empty worded, do you guys remember the game beggining? The early 2012's & 2013's (at least those who were in here back then)? There were "endgame" set called Visionmaker (or even eralier - the Dreamkeeper) which in order to CRAFT (that's kinda important, you needed to craft it, no RNG in this case, no shop stuff, no credit card required! sick!) you had to do Nexus, PVP, Dungeons and open world stuff like killing BAMs for Vitriols, searching for essences 'n stuff, you needed to go and take a breath with content you might not like, but if you wanted to get geared you had to do so even if it were the last thing in this game you wanted to do.

With "current" gear, and failing (with damage) over 10 times IN ROW i was more like f**k it, there are other games i can play on, even non-mmo's.

For quite a while getting a gear isn't that much problematic at all (in theory), go to one dungeon, farm it until you're able to do so, then go sleep and tomorow start doing it again because there might be someone who gonna drop your boots, weapon, chest or gloves and then you're ungeared! Noone gonna play with you cos you're weaker (let's keep that we talk in terms of gear), and because you're weaker you're less attractive to people doing the dungeon, and because you're less attractive you're not farming at all. You spent couple of hours waiting for your friends because they're at last boss right now, meantime you scroll LFG window, because maybe there's party that might take you! Oh snap, not really, there's only 3 lfg for dungeon, and like 4 for farming portals (still lfg so that works), few (even if lol) for open-world elite mobs, and like 10 WTB/WTS \o/.
Let's say that you've already got dropped (or bought from TradeBroker) some stuff you can wear, you're happy cos finally you can join most of people, to be decent one in terms of staying alive, dealing damage, etc. but... you're not enchanted!

You know what? This is how i see this:

:elin4:<- this is me, actually playing, farming stuff, gold, learning (lol) new (lol x2) dungeons

:elin31:<- this is you, publisher/developer whoever designed the shop waiting for my payday, to get at least some of my hardly earned $$ in order to ekhm... "help me" to gear faster (check the loot boxes with tradeable non-tradeable stuff), to stuff me with some stuff that i don't really need (but may sell for gold! gold is always nice).

I'm sorry, but this is how it looks like for pretty much long now, no serious stuff, just being interested how fat my pocket is, or adding new "Tera thalers" discount to sell those as much as possible, nothing else matters.:elin19:

Okay, let's calm abit now, it's not like that i don't understand how everything works, that you (Gameforge as publisher) has to get some money to keep servers running up, but if you check on actually playing player numbers (which we - players - don't really know), and we - players - look over server merges then there's one deduction (isn't it?) - someone is doing something wrong - don't you think so?

Your shop system is perfect, well... perfect in order to keep game running at least for now, but with descending player numbers thare gonna be another server merges to lower the costs of non rential game, all over again until there's only server left, and then simply sent an annoucement whith message, that you thank us for X years together, that this were great adventure bla bla bla.

Is the situation lost? To be honest - yes and no.
Most of those who already quit, or ragequit won't return, many of currently playing will quit, or at least stop playing or paying beacause of what's happening now, and what will happen in future (not so dificult to predict).

In order to start fixing stuff consider:
    - being more player friendly, player is not only an pocket with money that he doesn't need,

    - consider fixes in shop, remove any stuff that is breaking game rules (enchanting-stuff-related boxes, the jewel ones and so on),
    - consider more events that people gonna do with pleasure, with some serious stuff as prizes, not only party-hats, toons of cap's, useless food,

    - kick developer in their a** in order to provide better content, game optimisation stuff,

    - rethink TC stuff, box, and TC dungeon (Ghilie - it drops crap stuff, that noone longer needs, since few months so far)

About optimisations - how is that possible, that this game still runs on 32bit client? How is that possible, that every optimisation (so far) made this game run worse? Check any currently running mmo, even the beta ones, they look way much better and user experience & overall feeling (graphic & optimisation) is on way different level.

Last but not least - as a veteran player (cmon i'm here almost since it's EU release) i must oppose on how things are going, and because it's not worth at all (at current moment) i have canceled my TC Subscription and i'm not going to renew it until it's worth to.

Also, in opposition of current TT Shop state i'm not going to buy any TT any soon, this is my personal preference and decision, maybe someone gonna think about us, players who actually sponsor this game.

I may sound like grandpa... but...

give me back the good old days...
