    Because you can take less hits before dying or having to use consumables. If anything it's increasing exp required to lvl up that doesn't make it harder, only more tedious and boring.


    If it were up to me i wouldn't have touched it anyway, it was fine, and who cares anyway, it's content you're done with in less than a hour.

    Less than an hour? D: How do you level to 20 within less than an hour?
    I leveled several chars to 10+ and with our without a party it always took nearly 2h to get to 11.
    What kind of cheat are you using to be 20 under 1h? No wonder people complain about the exp..

  • Having peeked cbt5 in NA, the HP change is unnoticeable - the reason being - the mobs are as braindead as they have been since last year's CPE at least. If they brought FGT2 or earlier mob behavior - /that/ would ramp up the difficulty. They will never do that of course ...

    • Due to the player feedback the difficulty for characters from level 1 to 15 was increased, this was mainly done by reducing the overall HP of characters by roughly 30%. This value will gradually adjust until it reaches the old values around level 20. As this is only part of the difficulty changes, there might be further changes and adjustments for the upcoming versions.
    • The maximum of characters you can type into all chat channels have been doubled. So you can be sure to explain everything in detail, after you accidently caused a wipe.

    Ready ? Get to the end of the quest and abandon it and start over... Even skip the hand in on the second time around also if you don't need the the quest reward. This will slow the leveling down no end :D

    On a serious note, I'm also very disappointed how fast a dedicated player can reach end game level cap... At a guess I'll say 0-60 in a week to 10 days. I was hoping it would take around 6 months or pretty hard game play. The sad factor is that the MMORPG market has decided a while ago to cater for the casual gamer as they make more money that way. Because of that factor they'll never change so we're best off making the most of whats available.

  • your so much right but it does hurt those who actually wanted some gaming experience, not just walktrough with godmode on. therefore i ask why is it that hard to cater both type of players, make one of the servers with slight changed ruleset addressing those who ask for it or as to say, let player choose his favourite. but shhh, there are other threads on it.

    What is FGT2 ?


    I think ive read that they also umped up the attack speed of some named mobs at later levels. So it should be possible to raise the attack speed of mobs in the starter area.
    But then we will get newbies/casuals who join the game and quit after they repeatably die from an unfriendly beginner game. And as such they will moan, complain on the forums and then mostly quit.


    As it stands, i think its ok since it goes relativily quick to level up to around lv17-20 where the mobs starts hitting alot harder and you actually have to have a downtime between mobs/'or chance to die' if you dont block/dodge correctly. So i myself am all for a skill pyramid.(starts easy and gets harder and harder.).


    Ive also read that at endgame, in hardmode(not sure about normal)to tank as warrior you need lightning reflexes. And this say to me that it'll do what i want - the mobs/playstyle get harder the higher you get.


    An nice idea for starter island would be that at the bridge, when you do the quest with waves in 7min~, that the mobs gets gradually higher in attack speed, so you will eventually die - but you will at least experience the hardest mob you can handle. So it'll be a sort of area for testing the game mechanics-possiblities for new players.

    Some people don't want to face that and are therefore asking for an EXP nerf.


    I don't see how having BG's will change the game completely because for a fact, not everyone likes BG's, and anyways, BG's are mainly for max level chars which are already a bit geared up.


    Honestly, thinking that you can get the gear done within 2 weeks doesn't mean it's gonna happen, first you need to get the drops, then you must enchant it to +9 or +12, and you also have to roll random stats on the gear until you get something you like, be glad if you can get somewhat "decent gear" within a few months.


    This game is focused to capped chars as it has multiple dungeons and dificulty modes at high level, so i don't see it that bad with leveling fast. Those who want exp nerf have also to consider not everyone wants to spend months to reach level cap. The task of gearing up is already long and hard enough, i don't think they have to nerf the exp so people also "waste" more time, not everyone can play 10h a day, think about people who plays 1h a day.

    Yes, it means server is not available (offline).

    If you're not paying for the product, you are the product.

  • Can someone please clarify if there will be a wipe after OBT? Some of my clannies received an e-mail stating that there was NO wipe after the OBT.


    If this is the case then do we get to reserve our names BEFORE OBT seeing as we paid for all these extra things like the pre release headstart?


    Is this a clerical error?

    Written directly in the news posting. Names will not be reserved for OB because those characters will be deleted too for EU servers.
