Remember to aim that at Gameforge instead of BHS, that is all on Gameforge

Hopefully you guys can fight chargebacks, but Gameforge thought about that and extended their closure date to counter parts of that

Best guesses is it was known or finalized internally late November early December that it was being shut down globally

This is trackable with Gameforge's tone shift since then with an over abundance of sales and events aimed directly at swiping much more so than normal while disregarding any attempt to give actual player events that mattered

Kr on the other end for the most part was showered with player friendly events not aimed directly at attempts to stretch the last dime out their player base of a closing game

Truly a disgusting company with no morals.

Bring back some of the really old ones and community favorites.
I tell a lot of stories about the old dungeons to newer players and how awesome the old times were. It would be nice if they could experience some of that at least to a second degree.

It's now or never

It is heartbreaking but not surprising. I returned to this game hearing the news about the Japanese servers closing, expecting the others will soon follow suit. Let us not kid ourselves, the game has become a mortified husk of what it used to be and letting it go was the perhaps for the best. The combat system desecrated, the storyline ruined, the progression butchered, there really hasn't been a solid reason to recommend this game to anybody for any reason for the last half a decade, more if you count Fate of Arun as the beginning of the end like I did.

Still, I will miss the beautiful world and lore of it all that served as home for all my little elins. I did so many things in this game, perhaps more than in any other MMO. I battled, partied, raided, PvP'd, chatted casually, chatted competitively, roleplayed, wrote stories, and even got married with one of my characters.

TERA will forever be in my heart.

I thought some things were good ideas. I thought other things were bad ideas. I never used credit card so I have no losses. My credit card was ready if things would have started looking healthy and good for the long term. Things are what they are. Regardless of everything else, thank you for leaving up some servers for people to play on and thanks to the forum team for letting people vent and talk.

Just give us Manahan before closing! We waited long enough and need someone to punish!

This will be my last post on the forums since it's shutting down anyway. I will miss you guys, I really hope you all find a good mmo that you can move to. All good things come to an end eventually, I will miss my old guildies, my characters that I invested a lot into and the players as well. I pretty much knew there was going to be a shutdown notice soon, I could see it a mile away.

Played TERA since January 2013. Met my best friend here.

So many years of drama, raids, farming, adventures... I remember leaving work early just to be home in time for Nexus.

and above all, a beautiful world... so vast. The memores... Lumbertown bridge fights, tight Corsair wins, Fraywind races, weird Kumas bgs, amazing dungeons.

And very memorable characters. Will take pictures of all of TERA's locations, to keep in my computers forever.

I will never forget TERA. It was the game that affected my life the most.

I haven't like posted in an eternity but just saw the announcement today.. well what should I say.

I started playing Tera back in 2014, went on being more active in 2016. This game has its qualities but also major flaws like repetitive/recycled content, no significant storyline, optimization issues, some questionable game design choices, latency issues, overpriced cash shop, strong P2W aspect, toxic/elitist community, etc etc... It might just be more sensible to shut it down altogether instead of letting it die a slow and painful death (as the playerbase is continuing to diminish anyway...).

I had most fun questing to the max level and enjoying the pretty graphics. I don't know why Bluehole never tried to put more focus on questing/storyline, it could have come out great and maybe they would have been able to make the game more attractive for a broader audience, who knows.

Anyways, that's all I have to say, will be my last post here too.

Warned unlimited times,both bhs and gameforge (was frogster before) didnt listen any advice.Basicaly both of these companies doesnt give a fuk about their playerbase.

They created anorher sh!t instead of working for tera.Its called Elyon.They failed in 2-3 months in western release.Probaby the publisher will close this game also.

We started to warn these companies since 2015.And told people to not invest money because there was no future.Now we are here.Im not unhappy,i was unhappy at 2015 and later.

Find another game developed by another devs and not published by gameforge.Seriously dont touch any other gameforge games.You will see same stories in there (look aion and complaints about them on social media) .
